Just as Pikachu and Pachirisu powered the music machine, the Towers began emanating extremely soothing music.

It had such an instant effect on all and everything that even Palkia and Dialga, who were about to cast another Spatial Rend and Roar of Time, paused, the madness in their eyes shaking.

There was a definite change in the entire atmosphere, but it wasn’t limited to the sound alone. Even the Space-Time towers had begun changing, branches of steely decorations sprouting out of the main towers, making the entire structure look sacred.

And then, little by little, the Towers began radiating a golden radiance.

The radiance engulfed the entire Alamos Town instantly, taking the form of two giant, golden wings, like that of a holy bird, with the Towers as its body.

With that span of wings of golden radiance, waves of magical power, of the most archaic and mysterious in nature, pulsed out rhythmically.

The gem on Palkia’s left shoulder, which had cracked in a fight with Dialga, healed instantly.

Along with that, the redness both Space and Time Pokemon’s eyes carried was also washed away, clarity returning to their minds and spirits.

Far into the distance, at the edge of the town, Black stood off the bench and took a deep breath of the golden radiance.

After going over 100% of his Set Quota, Kai had stopped gaining Attribute Points through Milestone and Mission Rewards.

Not that he wanted to obtain more Attribute Points anyway, especially if he couldn’t target which Attribute would end up gaining points through the Rewards.

This was an issue only a handful of Contestants must have faced in the immemorial history of the Primordial Tower.

Every time Kai piled up his Buffs to match an enemy’s strength, he struggled to keep himself intact against his own Stats. Things had come to such a point that instead of using Selfless Breathing to power himself up, he used it as a glue to not explode to death in the next moment.

As such, Kai truly didn’t want any more Attribute Points.

Not until he finished his Main Mission and reached the 4th Set, at least.

Still, there were some Stats which he wouldn’t mind adding a few more Points, like Breath and Correspondence.

Stamina wasn’t among those two, but it was directly linked to Kai’s Regeneration Rate, which was one of his greatest trump cards when it came to fighting Contestants many floors higher than him.

If he could somehow control how much Stamina he would gain as a Reward, then he wouldn’t mind going for it.

And that’s why Kai had sent Red Sun to a timeline centered around Alamos Town.

Otherwise, with Palkia and Dialga’s involvement, there were many safer storylines to go for Darkrai.

The reason was obviously Oracion.

As Black dismissed the Notification, he sensed his Calm resonating with the music.

Oracion had such an effect on him that he believed if Calm wasn’t an Elite Ability already, it would have single-handedly pushed it to the Elite level.

With the threat of two Half-Deep Ones’ Avatars and a Mythical Pokemon involved, such a reward for a Main Mission would have been more than justified.

Suddenly, a whimpering sound entered Black’s ears, breaking the peace.

He looked at the bench and the thing squirming under it.

Black crouched and peeked under the bench, finding a filthy mass of flesh covered in golden radiance, already regenerating skin and hair under the effect of the temporary rise in HP Regeneration Rate.

Using the Chocolate Frog Card on him would be a waste, Black contemplated.

All the Prototype Abilities that he had seen Zeus use had felt like much inferior versions of his Biokinesis Skill.

Still, that was only when he compared those abilities to himself.

There was no denying that Zeus was strong.

He wasn’t nearly as strong as Mang Jian, but still...

If he had to fight Agent Zero, then he might not win without combining all trump cards and taking Kai’s help, Black realized.

For Red Sun to end the guy in one shot...

The fool’s getting stronger, Black thought, smiling.

Suddenly, eyes began appearing on Zeus’ regenerating head, his gaze landing on the wings of golden radiance.

"Beautiful, isn’t it?" Black remarked, "I am curious... If I submerge you in seawater, will you still keep regenerating?"

Zeus’ pupils shook, his gaze finally shifting to land on Black.

"... No?" Black said, humorously. "I guess... no matter how powerful a Devil Fruit is, it has its caveats, huh?"

Zeus had obviously not recognized who Black was.

First, Kai’s Wanted Poster didn’t show his actual facial features. Second, Black wasn’t a Contestant, but an Item. So, even if Zeus had the means to learn a Contestant’s Code Name instantaneously, it wouldn’t work in this case.

As the golden radiance of Oracion receded, Dialga let out a roar and disappeared from the dimension as well, regaining his bearings.

Now, as per the storyline, Ash and others would beg Palkia to restore the Alamos Town and send it back to the Pokémon dimension.

Black... had a much more crucial task to accomplish before that, though.

"You see, I am also curious about one more thing," he said, noticing Zeus downplaying his Regeneration to catch him off guard. "With you being a Devil Fruit user, perhaps you can shed some light on my doubt?"

Agent Zero kept a stoic expression.

Black’s lips curled even higher. "It’s related to a simple theory," he said, taking out another apple from his pocket. "If a Devil Fruit user dies, the Devil Fruit’s... Source? Let’s call it the Devil Fruit’s Source... attaches itself to the nearest fruit at random, no? I wonder if that’s also the case with a Devil Fruit like... yours."

Zeus’ eyes widened to the extreme.

Before he could even react, chunks of earth lifted around the bench.

And, through the cracks in the walls, Black’s voice slithered out, lacking all humor and mercy, becoming a word —

"... Room."
