The moment I entered the rising flame cloud, I was met with an ascending orb of excruciating heat...

Even from the distance, I could feel the very air melting from the absurd rise in temperature...

My blood spiked..

This was it..

This was the level of excitement I needed to test out just how powerful my new set of abilities were...

Sovereign Spyre kicked in automatically...

The ascending ball of flames being forcefully suppressed, it’s rising motion coming to a grinding halt as I willed the ball back, shooting directly back to where it came from..

"What!!!" A surprised exclamation graced my ears as another thunderous explosion reduced the already devastated landscape into smouldering ruins...

Woooshh!!!!

Two figures immediately burst out of the other side of the flaming dust cloud..

I stopped my descent, waving a hand as the surrounding dust was cleared instantly..

The moment the dust vanished, the results of my attack was finally out on full display...

Right beneath me, a crater over 50 meters wide and probably just as deep spanned like the jaws of prehistoric beast..

The candidates that had dotted the spot had been scattered all over the place, with some being forcefully teleported out once their lives were endangered, as those that had reached the central region were exempt from death..

I stared at the carnage, the smile on my face growing wider and wider..

"Who the hell are you??" A scathing voice pulled me from my violent thoughts..

I looked up, it was one of the blonde youths, his body had already recovered from whatever damage my attack might’ve caused, an aura surrounded him passively, one that I recognized instantly..

" "Radiant Pressure" huh?" It seems I’d caught a big fish this time, my eyes unintentionally straying towards the other youth that had remained silent all this while, same thing, same heavy heat being radiated..

"Calders huh? That just made this all the more exciting" I whispered softly to myself..

"I said. Who. The. Hell. Do. You. Think. You. Are" the first blonde youth growled in anger after going so long without receiving a reply..

I turned towards him, my reply coming in the only form I felt they deserved..

Stretching out my right palm, Golden-black flames ignited on it, a mixture of Solar Flames and Immolation Fire, the heat the flame gave off didn’t just burn physically, they burned the soul itself..

The angry expression on the blonde youth’s face immediately became grim, the silent one finally breaking from his posturing as his expression turned grim as well..

"Good.... It’ll be better if you made this fight a bit more interesting.." saying so, I faced my palm outward and in true flame thrower motion, a deluge of golden-black flames burst out of it, rushing with blazing intensity toward the two youths..

I could see their expressions finally registering the seriousness of the situation, as the first loud blonde immediately clasped his hands together...

Thud...Thud...Thud...

The beating of a heart drowned the area as the heat around his body soared, golden radiance lighting up the skies..

The moment he parted his palms, a Corona of Blazing golden flames spread outwards, it bathed the entire surrounding in a luminous glow, colliding with the roaring golden-black flames..

Boooooommmmmmmmm!!!!!!

The already ruined landscape shattered as an explosion of epic proportions erupted, the shockwaves making short work of the surrounding audience..

Lights flashed as candidates were teleported out one after the other, their strength unqualified to witness such a clash..

The few that remained had activated their own abilities, protecting themselves from the carnage..

I didn’t have the mind to care for bystanders, because the moment the collision occurred, a flaming spear had already appeared inches before my chest, the heat given off stung even with my improved resistance..

I wasn’t phased, instead the manic grin on my face only grew..

The fight had barely started yet these guys were already proving to be way beyond the rabble...

I discarded the useless thoughts, I had less than an instant to prevent myself from being impaled..

This was a testing of my new abilities, so chaos touched abilities were firmly restricted, but, I didn’t need Atmospheric Erasure to deal with this, I had something that would work just as well..

Sovereign Pyre kicking in once again, a dominant force pressing into the flaming spear as it faltered for just that fraction of an instant, yet it was enough, my left hand came up in a devastating blow, clad in dark-golden gauntlets weaved from immolation and Solar flames..

Boooommmm!!!!!!!

The punch landed with a jaw rattling impact, the silent blonde that had pioneered the attack being sent flying, an audible boom! Sounding out as he broke through the sound barrier, the blow had sent him careening sideways at speeds faster than the one he attacked with...

Golden-black flames immediately engulfing his face as an excruciating scream tore out of his throat....

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!"

I could see the surrounding crowds flinch...

I couldn’t be bothered to give them the time of day, I was facing two very competent opponents, and that showed clearly when a silent flame sphere no larger than a baby’s fist collided with my chest...

Boooooommm!!!!

The explosion sent me flying backwards, my top being incinerated by the Solar flames...

I righted myself, preventing my backward motion...

My hands found my chest, a burning mark had appeared there..

Somehow, the attack had bypassed all defenses and caused me harm...

"Really? True damage again?" I couldn’t help finding it funny, how come everyone was spamming true damage like common skills..

I didn’t know why, but the thought that this was somehow tied to the stupid author’s sense of "worthy foes" suddenly surfaced..

(A/N: I didn’t even do nothing..)..

Chaotic denial had been denied activation during this battle as it would nullify the whole point of the fight...

But I didn’t need it, Emperor’s Flame body and Blazing Regeneration activating simultaneously as the wound healed up, not only healing up, but enhancing me further in the process...

I raised my head, my eyes had gone aflame, twin orbs of liquid Dark-golden flames met two pairs of Equally intense gazes...

We didn’t speak, words no longer being needed...

A challenge had been dished out and from the looks of it, it was one they were fully on intent on answering...

I grinned...

And then in disturbing synchronization..

"IMPERIAL SUN STATE"

All three of us uttered simultaneously..

Activating one of the two trump cards of the Imperial SunBlood, none of us willing to let this charade go one faster than intended...

And so, we moved....
