My fun with Melissa lasted almost the whole night, I’d slept for only about an hour or two, which explains why I’d woken up feeling like a dead man..

I mean, I’ve got abilities that make me capable of literally collapsing the sky, another one that makes me one of the hardest things to injure or even kill, yet a little bit of snu-snu has got me feeling like I’d been sucked dry of all my essence(okay I admit, maybe I was, but still..).

Feeling the weight on my body, I moved my eyes from the uninteresting ceiling, laying them on someone way more pleasing to the eyes, I looked down to find Melissa all curled up in my embrace, our bodies still connected, just the way I liked it..

The beautiful smile on her sleeping face made my exhaustion fade like smoke..

"Alright.. no time to appreciate art, time for school" damn, I never thought I’d be saying words like those again...

We were currently gathered right back at the plaza where the ceremony had taken place, I’d already change into my outer court student uniform, the gold robes with green stripes, they had been present in my mansion, along with my student card that signified my identity as a student of the academy, it was a golden card with the words ELITE carved into it, I was guessing that’s what signified my elite status, as for what it does and how to use it, I was hoping to find out today..

I looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of Cara, but it seems she and her teacher were running later.

Since my search ended up being a bust I decided to focus on the crowd around me instead and I could see multiple faces, some excited, some nervous, some uncaring..

It was a sea of emotions..

A silver robed instructor stood before the sea of people as he surveyed us with an uninterested look in his eyes..

"Hmm, seems that’s all that’ll be arriving, well whatever"..

"Students!" The supervisor’s loud voice hushed the conversations currently going on..

Seeing as he’d gotten our attention, the supervisor continued, "before anything else, I’d like to warmly welcome you all to Aeternum, your path to becoming true warriors and powerhouses begin now!"..

The excitement in the air was electric, clearly, many still couldn’t wrap their heads around the fact that they were at the most renowned institution on the planet..

"Now, first things first, one thing you should know about Aeternum and I’m sure you’ve been hearing it since the trials, you should forget about whatever your identity is outside these academy grounds, as within these walls, you’re nothing more than a student, not a prince, not a princess, not an heir or heiress, a Student! Nothing more and you might be made even lesser if you’re too weak!"

A wave of murmurs began..

Naturally it wouldn’t sit so well with entitled young masters and ladies to hear that their identities meant jack shit..

"QUIET!" The supervisor released a little bit of his aura and the entire place fell silent once more..

"Now, as I was saying, you’re a student and worse yet, you’re new, that means you have no backing whatsoever and are only reliant on your personal strength, but personal strength isn’t always enough, which inevitably means you become fresh meat, an inevitable walking bag of free points for points hungry older students"

"Speaking of points, they are essentially your life line within academy grounds as you’ll be needing them for the littlest thing as eating to even more complex tasks.

They can get you access to anything and when I say anything, I mean ANYTHING!"

At that, the gathered crowd perked up..

"Want some experience orbs to avoid the stress of fighting? Pay for it!

Want some rare and difficult to acquire items? Pay for it...

Want to forge your own equipment? The academy has the best blacksmiths on the planet, all you have to do? Pay for it!

Want some guidance from an instructor? Pay for it!

Hell, if you want another student to help you take out someone you can’t handle?? Then pay for it..

Hell, you can even pay me right now to take someone out for you, if you can afford it"

I couldn’t help but feel I was somehow at the middle of this statement, I had no proof, but the increase in intensity in the look I’d been getting since arriving here spoke volumes, plus it didn’t help that the man was giving me not-so-subtle side eyes..

"There are no limits to what you can achieve with academy points, but they’re also a very fragile resource if you’re not strong enough"

"Aeternum promotes conflicts between its students, yes, you heard right, conflict is promoted here, after all how are you going to survive the cruelty of the world if you’re coddled? So, don’t be surprised when someone jumps you, beats your weak bitch ass up and robs you blind of all your points, why? Because they can and because you’re weak as hell and deserve it."

"Think it’s unfair? Get strong and take revenge or just simply do the same to someone weaker, feel free to bully the weak, they deserve to suffer." 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖

Man, I was stomped.

What the hell kind of orientation was this supposed to be? Why was this guy here actively promoting violence and assault?

"Now this is the part where I advice you guys to join one of the various factions within the academy,preferably the top ten, that way you’ll have some backing behind you, at least until someone from the inner court or supreme sanctum finds you guys irritating, which makes you cooked either way, so yea."

The supervisor’s gaze moved briefly towards me again, as he added that final part..

I didn’t need mind reading to know he was probably referring to my issues with Darius, I’d made his brother look like a fool and there were probably more personal problems as well.

I could easily feel the stare of that Caelum wuss boring into my back as the supervisor said those words.

"Anyway, your cards are more than your identification, they’re your records in a sense, you’ll be needing them when taking missions, submitting missions, keeping your points safe or snatching points from others, basically just keep your card safe cause you ain’t getting a new one"..

Saying so, the supervisor waved his hand as various information orbs floated to each and every student present..

"Everything you’ll need to know more about the academy, rules, locations of buildings and all the extra stuff are in there, feel free to look through it, or don’t, I don’t care either way"..

The supervisor shrugged, getting ready to leave, only to be stopped by a raised hand..

"Yes? You got something to say?" The irritation in his voice was clear for all to hear.

The student flinched as he sensed the supervisor’s irritation, but he stilled himself and asked nonetheless..

"Umm.. weren’t you supposed to brief us properly?" The student asked..

"And didn’t I just do that? I even gave you little shits reference materials" the man snorted..

Talk about a charming personality, was everybody at this place this grumpy? Or was I just unlucky??..

"Umm, but, what if we don’t understand some things or get lost? Shouldn’t you at least show us around a bit?" The student raised another question..

"Show you around? Hah.." the man laughed..

"Do you know how big this place is? Forget you, even I myself haven’t yet been to some places within this academy and your want me to show around and explain stuff? You think I’m getting paid for this? Bitch if you want further instructions, you know the drill!" saying so the man disappeared from his spot, leaving behind a bunch of confused and unsatisfied students.

But what could they do? Fuck shit, that’s what..

I couldn’t help laughing it up...

It was barely the first day and I was already loving it here...
