Bang! Bang! Bang!

While Diablo and Poseidon were slowly experiencing the powers of an Arch Heretic of the Demonic Church of Terror, Leviathan was getting pressure from facing the trio fighting him.

Felix’s swordsmanship was quite troublesome to deal with, especially when it was combined with sound attacks.

His style focused more on offensive and defensive styles while Felicia was more of an auxiliary-type of style, particularly when it came to buffing her allies and creating illusions that could weaken and confuse their enemies.

She also had quite a few offensive spells under her arsenal, which could directly affect the movements of her targets, along with some mental attacks that she could create through her sound arts.

Her class seemed to fall at the Mage category, specifically a mage specializing in water spells. From the surface, she seemed to fall into a Mage Epic Class, an Ocean Magister.

However, her methods seemed to be quite special, especially when she could use them to use her Sound Arts along with her magic spells.

The strange thing was that her sound arts relied more on her voice rather than using any other instrument partnered with a sword, which was a signature style of the Divine Sound Sect.

However, every little sound that she made could also be another form of sound art, producing bits of illusion in the process.

These illusion techniques produced by her sound arts were the ones that had truly given Leviathan quite a lot of trouble.

Among the members of the Pandemonium Troupe, Leviathan was one of the people who were suited to fight against multiple people all at once. After all, his class and abilities were similar to Necromancers, Summoners, or Tamers in nature.

In this area, Azazel and Paimon were the only ones who could match him, given their respective abilities.

He was able to fight both Felix and Felicia by himself with these abilities, especially with the help of his Ice Clones that were able to wield all his skills and abilities aside from creating clones themselves.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

Boom!

Bang! Bang! Bang! 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂

However, the one that had truly given him the largest trouble in this battle was Alucard, who kept on providing long-range cover from an extremely far distance.

Not only was the barrage of bullets helping Felix and Felicia kill most of his ice puppets and glacial golems, but a few bullets snuck through his defenses as well and attempted to claim his life.

If Dragulia was slowly gaining the upper hand on his side due to the unique power bestowed upon him by the Demonic Dragon of Terror, Leviathan was slowly losing his footing on his side.

"These people from the Empyrean Talons are always annoying," he mumbled while glaring at the distance. "They are always getting in our way."

"Should I use my Demon Contract and Demonic Transformation?" he thought, considering whether to use his trump card now and take everyone now rather than waiting for a perfect opportunity later.

After all, there was still the Great Sacrificial Ritual that would require their assistance later, so he had to save his Demon Contract at the very least, since it would have an extremely long cooldown once used and put him in a seriously weakened state afterward.

At the very least, the Demonic Transformation should be the only one that he could use in this battle if he wanted to truly overpower these guys.

His Demonic Transformation had undergone great changes right after he had reached Tier 3 of his class and gained another demonic baptism from the Great Demon King that he had contracted with.

Its power had reached an unimaginable level, far surpassing the majority of the players, including those on the Ranking List.

He was confident that he could overpower anyone once he had activated it. Not even the well-known god-level players would be his match unless they had an extremely powerful transformation or berserk skill at the same level.

From his estimate, the only ones that could match this Demonic Transformation were the Berserk and Transformation skills that Shin and the others had used during the finals of the United Cup.

Even the fusion technique that Cloe, Alice, and Owen had used during that time might not even match his power once he used this new version of Demonic Transformation.

However, there were also quite a few drawbacks once its duration had run out. He would enter an extremely weakened state once it happened, which would greatly affect his performance later.

Fortunately for him, he could just nullify these side effects once he activated his Demon Contract.

"Should I use it now?" he thought while controlling his army along with the two Ice Clones to somewhat suppress Felix and Felicia to buy himself some time.

However, before he could do anything about the current situation, the message that he was waiting for had finally arrived.

*Ding*

"Oh! It seems like it’s our advantage this time," he mumbled after reading through the message.

He then looked at the situation at the other side of the battlefield and smirked. "It seems like that guy is already going crazy."

He was tempted to ditch Dragulia after seeing the current state of the latter, but he quickly dropped that idea since he knew that this guy was a crucial part of the next part of their plan, especially with the forces from the Demonic Church of Terror that they had brought.

After thinking for a while, he suddenly sent a message to Dragulia, trying to see if this guy was still in his right mind.

Leviathan: Hey! I know that you are having fun, but it seems like our people have already found the true portal that we are looking for.

Leviathan: We can now leverage this information to do two things at once.

To his surprise, Dragulia seemed to be quite well and had yet to fully lose his mind.

Dragulia: Tsk! Such terrible timing. I am about to have a good time now.

Dragulia: Tsk! Let’s forget it then. Are we going to retreat now?"

He might be crazy for fighting strong opponents, but he also understood that he still had important roles that needed to be played on such occasions, especially this one that was supposed to be the biggest operation that the Demonic Church of Terror had yet to have.

Leviathan thought for a moment before replying.

Levithan. You can actually try to play with them a bit more to attract more of their attention.

Dragulia knew that Leviathan would only be using him at that time as a decoy so that he could seize the portal by himself.

He was about to ridicule the latter when Leviathan sent an additional message.

Leviathan: We can also go our ways now since I heard that the preparation on your side is going well despite being obstructed by some people.

Seeing this, Dragulia squinted his eyes and quickly replied coldly.

Dragulia: Are you going to burn the bridge right after crossing it?

Leviathan chuckled when he saw this and quickly answered.

Leviathan: Then we can only proceed as planned.

Leviathan: I will be heading to the portal and corrupting it with the Demon Stone while you head to the Oath City to cause chaos along with your people.

Leviathan: The people on my side will provide you with enough assistance to slaughter everyone within the city, including all the NPCs within.

Leviathan: You do not have to worry about the high-level NPCs either, since we have brought enough Demonic Bishops to deal with them.

Leviathan: However, once they have revealed themselves, you have to move as fast as you can and finish the entire ritual before the Righteous Churches sense them and send their people there.

Reading through the string of messages that Leviathan had sent, Dragulia slightly nodded his head while repelling all the advances that Diablo and Poseidon had made against him.

Dragulia: That’s more than enough. Just make sure not to do anything funny, or else you will face heavy consequences.

His side had naturally brought Demonic Bishops themselves, who were much more reliable compared to the ones that Leviathan had brought from the Demonic Church of Greed.

After all, the Demonic Church of Terror focused more on slaughter and spreading terror as per their ’God’, the Demonic Dragon of Terror, had willed it.

Leviathan: Do not worry. I know that provoking people from the Demonic Church of Terror is no different from a death sentence.

Levithan: I may be greedy, but I still know my limits.

Reading between the lines, Dragulia understood that Leviathan would indeed betray him so long as the benefits were enough or if he had enough power to defeat an official Arch Heretic of the Demonic Church of Terror.

The two exchanged a few more messages, polishing their plan, before finally making their move.

Boom! Boom!

The two disengage from the battle and regroup with each other.

Roar!

Leviathan then summoned a massive ice dragon construct, which they used as a mount before launching into the air.

"Thanks for the entertainment, but we still have more important business to do!" said Leviathan before controlling the ice dragon construct toward a certain direction.

Diablo and the others were taken aback by the sudden retreat of those two, making them unable to quickly respond.

However, after seeing the direction that they were heading, the expression on Felix and Felicia immediately turned grim.

They instantly understood that the demonic players must have found the rough location of the portal.

"This is bad!" cursed Felix, feeling troubled about the current situation.

Diablo and Poseidon immediately understood what was happening after hearing those words.

Swoosh!

It was at this moment that they saw Alucard flying fast behind them, along with a pair of blood wings on his back, chasing after Leviathan and Dragulia.

"Chase!" shouted Felicia before summoning her mount, which was a huge Arctic Wolf. She mounted on its back and swiftly headed toward the direction where the other three were heading.

Felix swiftly followed, summoning his mount, which was another Arctic Wolf but had a different pattern on its body.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Seeing them sprint toward that direction, Diablo pursed his lips for a moment before shaking his head.

He decided not to follow, trusting Alucard with this task. At this moment, he had a more pressing issue that needed to be solved.

They had to stop the demonic players from doing whatever they were doing back at the Oath City.

"Vice Faction Leader Poseidon, I know that you are also quite curious about that portal, but we still have a more important task at hand," he said while turning to Poseidon.

Poseidon frowned quite deeply after hearing this. After all, the main task that he had for this operation was to establish a connection with Felix and Felicia, and even negotiate about the matters concerning that said portal.

Unfortunately, he also understood that the current situation at the Oath City was way too serious to be overlooked.

"Alright. I trust Sir Diablo will help us with this ordeal," he said before taking out a return scroll and quickly crushing it.

Swoosh! Swoosh!
