Chapter 411: Domain

Chang Ho hovered slowly in place with his sleeves swaying gently while fixating his eyes on Zhao Lusi.

Despite being three against one, he couldn't help but still be wary of her every single move.

During the exchange just now, they already knew that if they went 1v1, they won't have a single choice.

And even in a 3v1, they likely would still suffer a defeat as she has not used a single technique while they all did.

"Are you ready to take us seriously now?" Chang Ho stil asked, his voice calm but his gaze remained sharp and wary.

He truly didn't believe they had an advantage.

The Seeker, however had no such restraint.

"Hah—then die!"

He surged ahead alone, swords igniting with killing intent as he cut through the air.

His speed spiked, turning into a streak of light as both blades carved forward in a decisive strike, aiming to end it in a single exchange.

Zhao Lusi simply raised her arms in response to it.

"Crane Dance: Thousand Feathers."

In an instant, the world suddenly dimmed as countless feathers bloomed into existence above them, dense and endless, blotting out the sun itself.

Each one shimmered with a cold, metallic sheen, trembling with condensed force.

Next they start calling down, well, technically they rained down like a storm.

The Seeker's expression changed instantly.

His charge halted mid-motion as both swords snapped into a defensive formation.

His blades spun, forming a tight barrier around him as he braced himself.

The first feather struck.

Clang!

The impact rang out like steel colliding with steel.

Then the second.

Feathers hammered down relentlessly, each strike carrying crushing force.

His defensive sphere trembled, distortions rippling across its surface as sparks exploded outward with every impact.

"Hold—!"

His voice was drowned out.

The barrage intensified as the second passed.

His arms shook and his footing faltered midair as the pressure mounted beyond control.

Each feather chipped away at his defense, tearing it apart piece by piece.

"Elder Chang—!"

He called out but it was too late as the barrier shattered.

For a single, frozen instant, his eyes widened before the storm swallowed him whole.

Feathers pierced through his body in a blur of silver streaks, shredding through flesh, bone, and aura alike. The force drove him downward, his form vanishing beneath the unrelenting rain.

By the time the storm passed nothing remained intact.

The sky was now cleared and sunlightad already returned.

And where the Seeker once stood, there was only drifting fragments, slowly falling toward the shattered earth below. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Chang Ho's expression darkened, he had wanted to help but he wasn't even given the chance to get close.

Sun Natin's grip on his staff tightened, knuckles whitening.

Zhao Lusi lowered her arms slowly, staring at the place where The Seeker had just died.

It didn't take long and from the scattered remains of the Seeker's body, a soul emerged.

Flickering like a candle in the wind, yet still carrying the outline of the man he once was.

The instant it appeared, it didn't hesitate to run away from the place.

Zhao Lusi didn't even look directly at the running soul and instead raised her hand and flicked her fingers.

And then just like a candle, the soul was extinguished in mere seconds.

Space warped where the Seeker's soul had fallen.

A vast, hazy expanse began to unfold, layered and deep, like a reflection of another sky trying to force its way into reality.

Mountains, rivers, fragments of sky—an entire incomplete world revealed itself for a fleeting moment, trembling on the edge of existence.

Every Human Immortal had one.

And when they died… that world surfaced, only to be rejected by the higher plane—dragged back into the void, where, after countless years, it would settle and evolve into a lower realm.

Zhao Lusi glanced at it briefly.

Then sighed.

"…This is not even worth consuming."

The forming world quivered and then collapsed inward, space folding over it as it was pulled away, vanishing into the unseen depths beyond.

Sun Natin and Chang Ho exchanged a single look and made up their minds.

"Don't hold back," Chang Ho said quietly.

And then he stepped forward.

The place suddenly changed as a vast pressure descended as his domain unfolded, swallowing the entire mountain range in an instant.

The sky darkened, clouds spiraling into existence as wind and water intertwined, forming a living, breathing expanse under his control.

Rivers roared through the air. Storms gathered at a thought.

And far away from the battlefield, even cultivators within the distant city froze, their hearts tightening as they felt it.

A domain was the manifestation of a cultivator's understanding of the world's law itself.

Chang Ho stood at its center, robes billowing as wind and water bent to his will.

Zhao Lusi stopped walking and instead looked around casually.

"…Hmm."

Her gaze swept lazily across the vast expanse.

"Barely even a thousand dao marks…"

She tilted her head slightly.

"You're quite brave."

Sun Natin stepped forward without a word.

His staff struck downward and his domain erupted.

The ground answered to his call and mountains rose, stone cracked, and the weight of the earth itself pressed inward.

His world law spread outward, reinforcing Chang Ho's domain, layering it with crushing gravity and unyielding force.

Sky and land. Wind, water, earth.

The storm howled as blades of compressed wind and torrents of water crashed down.

At the same time, the earth surged upward, jagged pillars erupting beneath Zhao Lusi, seeking to impale, crush, and bury her all at once.

Within the domain, each and every attacks connected hitting her without any pause.

Yet she walked ahead, step by step clearly unfazed.

The raging storm parted around her.

The crushing earth split before her feet.

Every attack that should have destroyed her… despite the attacks landing dealt no damage to her.

Chang Ho's and Sun Natin's breath grew uneven as they realised something was wrong.

Zhao Lusi continued forward, closing the distance between them with calm, measured steps.

Then she stopped with a faint smile,

"Welcome to my illusion world."
