He saw them with serious expressions, whispering a few words. Lin Beichen couldn’t understand what they were saying, the sound was like a cacophony banging in his ears.

He shook his head, forcing himself to stay alert.

"What exactly is that..." Lin Beichen changed his angle, standing behind them, finally seeing the scene ahead and couldn’t help but curse.

Isn’t that the monster he fought earlier? How could it appear here, and there are three of them!

Even from afar, Lin Beichen could smell the stench and turned his head with disgust.

The three monsters happened to meet the three Taoists, snarling and roaring, trying to provoke them. However, the Taoists remained unfazed, as if they didn’t notice.

Eventually, one monster opened its gaping maw and lunged forward, the other two quickly joining, ferocious in every way.

The Taoists deftly evaded the monsters’ attacks, with Lin Beichen on the side watching in awe.

Lin Beichen intended to step forward to help; however, just as he raised his foot, he felt an inexplicable force restraining him.

This force was indescribable; unless he approached the battlefield, it seemed non-existent. But once he tried to get closer, the force immediately restricted his actions.

Lin Beichen tried several times, sensing something unusual about this force. He attempted various methods, even using his own energy to suppress this mysterious force, but to no avail.

Ultimately, Lin Beichen had to abandon the idea of approaching them.

He repeatedly pondered but couldn’t comprehend why this was the case. Clearly, he was in a dreamscape. Why couldn’t he step forward to help them?

Suddenly, a giant monster emitting a red glow stopped, its gaze fixed on a magnificent building.

The building once resembled a multi-storied dwelling, now empty due to collapse, with hollowed structures inside.

For a monster in the plot, perhaps such a building could only accommodate itself.

However, for unknown reasons, the giant monster abruptly halted, turned, and hurriedly ran into the building.

"Caught her!" Suddenly, a loud noise echoed as if the building was about to collapse, with stones dropping one by one. Yet inside, the monster appeared exceptionally excited, indifferent to the building’s impending collapse.

Fortunately, before the collapse, the monster finally burst from the already dilapidated building, clutching a woman in its left hand.

The woman was evidently greatly frightened, her face pale, and drenched in sweat. Lin Beichen scrutinized her for a moment, realizing he didn’t recognize her.

Perhaps this woman indeed has no relation to Lin Beichen. He didn’t know why the monster suddenly captured her.

Her face was full of surprise and fear, struggling to break free from the monster’s grasp. However, the monster didn’t grant her that chance.

After capturing the woman, the monster appeared exceptionally elated, immediately lifting her and placing her before its gaze.
