Chapter 51: 051 | Speculation & Glaciron Maw

The sound of cracking up body of Snow crawler was heard as Reyansh smashed his spiked hammer on it. They tried to surround Reyansh from all sides using their numbers, only to end up into fragments on the ice field.

There were still twenty crawlers left, though their advance towards Reyansh slowed.

After eliminating the nearest ones, he swung his hammer in a circle as its head extended outwards with the help of chain, cracking the crawler’s heads open.

[Raisena_Forge: At this moment, these fodders are just hogging up his time.]

Reyansh wiped off the small shards of ice on his clothes as he sprinted deeper into the dungeon.

A few Snow crawlers tried to block his way but his single swipe of hammer either threw them far away or broke their body in pieces.

As he headed towards the center, large boulders started to appear in the empty snow field, made of rocks and covered in snow.

Moments later, his perception caught presence of four monsters behind a boulder. He stopped for a second as a grin formed on his face.

He pivoted slightly and started running towards the boulder, jumped and struck the boulder with his full strength. A huge web-like crack appeared in the boulder, it started spreading to all over the boulder.

[Raisena_Forge: What was that? Is it some kind of monster?]

[Ellise: Doesn’t seem like it.]

Reyansh stood at one side of boulder, the moment, the boulder shattered into small snow covered rocks, all four monster jumped out from their position.

The moment they jumped, "Boo!" Reyansh attacked them before they could even see him properly.

Two monster, Frostfang wolves, died immediately due to the hammer’s impact. The remaining two wolves skidded sideways.

[Mr_Blue_Volcano: Man he is straight up bullying those monsters.]

[Fiery_Redina: He is literally toying with them, they aren’t even a prey at this moment.]

[Dread Fist: Well, that’s the definition of the Strongest Hunter, he has enough strength to turn any prey into his toy.]

[Dread Fist: His mana core rank is C, so from what I have seen of him, he could defeat a B-rank and will struggle against A-rank. This is from what I have seen.]

[The Blazing Sandra: Close but not right, if he uses his skills right, he could stand against S-rank. Though I think we still haven’t seen him at his full power. So my conclusion could be wrong too.]

Reyansh noticed the chat as he smashed open the heads of remaining two wolves. He didn’t respond but smiled internally and sprinted ahead, keeping his senses alert regarding the boulders.

[Storm_Knight: The skills he had used till now, especially one’s against the final bosses, he could easily take out S-rank hunter. Though would he get the chance to use that skill against them remain to be seen.]

[Red Falcon: I am betting on his uniqueness and adaptability he had shown till now that he could take on S-rank easily. The only question is would he get the chance to use his strength like @Storm_Knight mentioned.]

Reyansh kept an eye on the chat, ’Wow, now they really feel like beings from Apex and High dimensions. Just by watching me, they could deduce that much, experience really matters.’

’Well, you guys are close but still far away because even I don’t know how strong will I be when I copy your talents.’ He thought.

As he pushed forward, he encountered few more Frostfang wolves but he eliminated them two or three at once. After sprinting for few minutes, he finally reached a large cave, mostly made of thick ice and filled with long icicles.

He could sense a powerful monster from the cave, he recalled the information about this dungeon he had read earlier.

’Glaciron Maw, a unique monster is the final boss here.’

Just as he took a few more steps towards the cave, a loud roar shook the cave followed by thumping sound. Reyansh readied himself, gripping the hammer tight.

[Anonimus_Assassin: Okay, finally something which can force him get a bit creative in his attacks.] 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝘸𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝘤𝘰𝓂

"You just couldn’t resist, huh?" Reyansh replied and thought for a second as he looked at the cave, "Okay, I accept."

[Raisena_Forge: Why the hesitation?]

"Because this monster could be a bit tricky," Reyansh stated as thumping increased.

THUMP!

With a loud impact, the boss monster, Glaciron Maw, emerged from the cave. Its appearance itself was striking with height of around 12 ft, it had a big mouth that stayed open with pointed icicles as teeth.

Its hands were disproportionately long, covered with grey fur as they touched the ground. The moment, monster’s eyes locked onto Reyansh in front, its blue eyes filled with anger as it roared loudly.

"Oh, you think you are so tough," Reyansh remarked as he formulated the plan to kill it.

The monster responded by slamming both its hands to the ground and embedding its jaws in the ground. The next moment, snow started to get turned into powder as it entered the monster’s mouth.

Within the moments, all the snow in the area started to get sucked in its mouth like a crude vacuum cleaner.

[Raisena_Forge: That really is weird, this will be fun]

Reyansh ran to the side to gauge the monster’s response, the monster mouth followed his trajectory, closing of any chances to approach from sideways.

[Anonimus_Assassin: How is he gonna approach then?]

[Storm_Knight: Just wait.]

Reyansh repositioned himself to the earlier position, the monster didn’t showed any signs of stopping anytime soon and he hadn’t enough time to wait it out.

"Well let’s see how tough you really are," Reyansh spoke as he ran straight towards the monster’s mouth.

[Fiery_Redina: Hmm??]

[Ellise: He is not thinking of killing it from inside right?]

[Mr_Blue_Volcano: Could be, he isn’t showing any signs of stopping or turning.]

As the Reyansh got closer to the monster’s mouth, all 895 viewers were focused on Reyansh’s every move.

Just a few meter away from monster’s mouth, Reyansh stretched his hands towards one of the thick and long icicles above.

A small dagger flew out of his hand followed by a chain appeared from his hand.

The dagger pierced the icicles, just when the monster thought Reyansh was about enter its mouth, he jumped as the chain retracted back into the tattoo.

He reached the icicle, holding it tight on slippery ice. As the monster missed its target, it bellowed loudly and was about to turn towards Reyansh.

However, Reyansh jumped from his high position, leaving the icicle, falling down towards boss’s head.

Reyansh raised his hands above as an Axe-hammer manifested in his hands this time, with axe side facing the monster.

Mana covered the entire weapon, making it more light and lethal as Reyansh fell down towards the monster, bringing down the axe-hammer with his full strength.

"Grind this," Reyansh shouted as the axe hit the top of head of the monster, splitting its head open while the momentum carried him forward, cleaving its head in two before it could even glance at Reyansh.

Reyansh jumped off from the monster’s body, as he glanced at the messages. After storing the body, he exited the dungeon.

"Rotshade Orchard," he ordered as he entered the cab, driver followed the command.

Reyansh slumped back into the seat, as he felt his body recovering passively from the accumulated fatigue.

[Ramon_Night: That was a bit thrilling to watch. You won’t raid White rank gate tomorrow right?]

Reyansh opened his eyes as a question popped up, "No, it won’t be any fun or challenging. This is last White rank gate and from now on all gates I clear will be Grade II unless there is something specific." He answered.

He answered few other questions when the cab stopped at its final destination, "We are here, boss, a minute early." The driver spoke.

Reyansh nodded as be came out of cab, "Final dungeon of today."
