Cosmic Patron System: 100X Return on Every Reward
Chapter 62 - 0 | Axiom Psyche
At first the voice were from only 4-5 people but then the number increased until he felt like he could here every thought of all conscious beings on the floor.
His eyes teared up, not because he was crying rather it was physiological reaction to the overstimulation of the brain.
However, as the number of voice grew, he started feeling something else with it, something which he couldn’t name, yet.
It existed here for a moment, then vanished but a moment later appeared in completely different place.
As Reyansh focused on this phenomenon, the noise started reducing, becoming a background noise. Sensing that focusing on this was helping him keep the noise out, he started chasing this invisible yet present force.
Amidst the pain and chatters of people, he intently chased after the imaginary force. However, as minutes passed, the more he chased, it farther out of reach it felt.
However, he didn’t relent as he didn’t wanted to go through the disturbing experience of hearing the thoughts of others.
Almost after five when Reyansh started to feel like he was missing something, there was a gentle tug at his thoughts as new information appeared in his brain.
It felt like his talent was guiding him to the new information. Suddenly, he understood his mistake as he stopped chasing after it.
Multiple system notifications also appeared in between this but he stayed focused because he was genuinely disturbed by this incident.
He removed hands from his head and sat on the ground, crossing his legs. But now, instead of chasing the imaginary force, he concentrated at a single spot.
Just as he focused, he started to feel something tangible at that place again.
’So this is the physical form of my mental strength.’ He now understood what he couldn’t earlier.
He could still hear the thoughts from other persons but the volume was much lower. Still, it acted as the noise. He first decided to check the notifications and details of new talent.

"This talent literally forced my stats and Traits to evolve.." He remarked after watching the notifications.
After taking a deep breath, he clicked the talent to get more detail.

As Reyansh read through the entire panel, he started understanding more about this talent.
"I will need to work on this talent the most." He concluded.
He stood up and deactivated the Sonus Block and exited the room.
’It took more time than I expected.’ He thought as he crossed the corridor.
As he walked through the court, he could still hear the chatter of the people. He started tuning out the thoughts while walking.
A few minutes later, he stood outside the gate of his sister’s room. He could sense the blood of 4 beings and their location inside the room.
He pushed the gate open, as he stepped forward Taran looked at him with fear, rubbing his neck. However, Arpita and Luna looked shocked, because they can feel the changes in the Reyansh’s aura.
Reyansh walked up to the Vanya, patted her head. However, just as his hands touched her head, multiple thoughts of Vanya entered his mind.
Her subconscious was repeating one thing, ’I did it brother, I took my first step.’ He smiled gently as he kissed her forehead.
As he turned, he looked at Taran sitting on the floor with his mouth gagged while Arpita sat on the sofa and Luna stayed on her shoulder.
He turned his eyes to Taran as he tried reading his thoughts.
’Please let me live, however the moment I get out, all of you are dead man.’
’I hope that son of bitch Jai faces the consequences too, throwing me in front of these sadistic people.’
He couldn’t dig any deeper for the moment but this was enough.
A smile formed on his face as he was able to control his ability slightly.
However, just as looked at Arpita, their eyes locked in with another.
"What did you do?" she asked, her brows raised.
"No, I didn’t kill them, they are alive for the moment." He replied.
"Noo! I am not talking about them, I am talking about what did you do to yourself?" She asked, her eyes focused on him.
"Nothing much just little of preparation to before I visit a guildmaster." Reyansh spoke casually.
Taran sitting on the floor gulped looking at Reyansh and he non-chalant demeanor.
She nodded, obviously not happy with the answers but she didn’t push.
Reyansh moved his focus from Arpita to Luna, suddenly he felt a similar force like his yet mixed with different presence.
Luna eyes also widened as she sensed the monstrous mental energy of Reyansh.
"Are you a psychic too?" he asked.
"I am only a telepath," Luna answered after a second.
"What just happened?" Arpita asked, looking confused.
"Nothing much, I am getting late for my appointment with the guildmaster. Please watch over my sister and inform me in case she woke up." Reyansh requested as he exited the room.
Arpita kept looking at the gate for a second longer before turning to Luna, expecting an answer.
"Don’t stress too much just know that it was good decision to be on the side of that monster in human skin and I mean that as compliment." Luna replied.
"I couldn’t hear properly what you guys talked because I was busy checking if my sense were fooling me." Arpita spoke.
"When he left the room, I could sense he was strong but I was sure I am stronger. However, when he came back doing whatever he did, I couldn’t gauge the depth of his strength."
"I am almost certain I wouldn’t last long against him in a straight fight. While his core rank is still C. Just what in the abomination is he?" Arpita was truly baffled to see Reyansh getting stronger within minutes.
’Just what are they talking, stronger than her, not stronger than her. These guys are sure dumb, whatever, just let me go. I will sick entire Hunter’s Council upon you guys.’
’Jai might even pay me...’ he was still in his thoughts when Luna interrupted.
"Stop your blabbering human, you aren’t going anywhere and don’t worry about Jai. He will be joining you soon." She remarked.
’Wh-What? How did you..?’ his panic hit the roof.
"Did you scour his brain completely Luna?" Arpita asked.
"Yes, I have collected all the information about his deeds." She confirmed.
Arpita casually grabbed him by the throat, sticking him against a wall and removed the gag.
"Any last wish?" She asked like she was asking for coffee.
"What...do you know I am a government agent? You all will hunted by the hunter corps of the Hunter’s Council. However, if you let me leave, I will convince them that it as just a misunderstanding." He pressured, his heart throbbing wildly.
Arpita smiled as she pulled out a badge, a pentagonal with earth at the center and a snake circling around it forming a shadow.
"Do you know what this means?" she asked, he shook his head negatively.
Arpita didn’t spoke first but her white nails started turning black and becoming longer. The nails were giving a sense of decay as the air itself turned foul after coming into contact with it.
She pushed the nails into his heart as he watched it with horror in his eyes, "It means I can kill you whenever I want." She spoke as Taran withered to dust, unable to say anything.
