Observing his surroundings and going through the memories he had read through regarding the interior of the Heavens Faith Sect that the now doomed senior of the Heavens Faith Sect remembered from his time within the main sect, Xuan Hao was happy to discover that nothing had changed compared to the memories even after tens of thousands of years, something that could maybe only be seen within an ancient power like the Heavens Faith Sect that had existed for hundreds of thousands of years- if not millions of years. The kind of longevity that he himself hoped the Star Shattering Sect would be able to experience as well in the future.

Problem was, though he was familiar with the layout of the Heavens Faith Sect’s central district, his current identity didn’t allow him anywhere near the heavenly god nor the formation core of the sect guardian formation. Leaving him troubled over how to proceed now that he had arrived within the Heavens Faith Sect given how he only had a few hours before the heavenly god towering above the sect itself discovered what he had done in the branch sect and began searching for him, something he was certain would happen given the strength he had displayed along with the fact only the Heavens Faith Sect had beings above the Celestial Immortal Realm.

Even if the other party didn’t realize he was someone not from this small world, he would still be treated as a threat that had to be dealt with, as his strength alone was more than enough to challenge the status quo established by the Heavens faith Sect throughout the small world.

"Junior! Are you free?" But as he was lost in his own thoughts trying to think of a solution to the problem of getting closer to the heavenly god than he already was to try and find some flaws he could take advantage of to deal with the other party, a solemn older voice called out him from behind. "Huh? Me?" Causing him to let out a somewhat surprised sound as he spun around to face the owner of the voice, a tall middle-aged man with hair longer than most female cultivators he had encountered. Looking like a heroic sword cultivator from story books, albeit a bit older.

"Yes, you, come with me if you aren’t busy." Not thinking too much about the surprised look that had appeared on Xuan Hao’s face, the senior member of the holy light rank, casually motioned for him to follow before turning his attention towards another awaiting bestowal disciple to ask the same thing. Spending a short time getting said disciple to follow along as well.

Leaving Xuan Hao and this other disciple rather confused as to what was happening, but in the face of a senior, the two of them follow along obediently. The main reason Xuan Hao decided to play along being the fact that he saw a potential opportunity to get closer to the heavenly god and formation core of the Heavens Faith Sect without arousing any suspicion in the process.

Not to mention, in case he fought the senior, there was a good chance that he would either be noticed by the formation or the heavenly god no matter how well he tried to hide it.

Still, he had no clue what this temporary senior of his was planning on doing with him and the group of awaiting bestowal disciples who by now numbered around a dozen, but he honestly didn’t care too much about it and was just happy that the location that they were being led towards was within a unique part of the Heavens Faith sect normally only accessible to those of the holy light rank within the sect or above, the holy sanctuary.

Not only was the heavenly god seated at the very core of the holy sanctuary, but from the memories he had stolen, he also knew this was the place where the most precious resources of the Heavens Faith Sect were stored. Amongst which, there should also be some heavenly and earthly treasures that would be useful for his cultivation along with the powerful cultivators serving as the true backbone of the Heavens Faiths Sect alongside their god.

Just from stepping inside the holy sanctuary, he had already felt the presence of over five people at the Celestial Lord Realm sweeping past him and the others, causing a very real shiver to run down his spine as he understood full well that his current disguise techniques wouldn’t be enough to hide himself in front of someone comparable to the Land Creation Realm like these Celestial Lord Realm cultivators.

Luckily, the terrifying presences he felt locking onto him and the rest only seemed to casually sweep past and didn’t bother to do any in-depth investigation. Allowing him to survive this unexpected calamity without encountering any problems along the way.

"W-w-what was that just now...?"

"I-I don’t know... Maybe the will of the great heavenly god descended to bless us briefly upon stepping into the holy sanctuary?"

"That should be the case... Only the great holy one could be that terrifyingly powerful!"

And like him, the other awaiting bestowal disciples also felt the several terrifying presences descending before dispersing on their own, though it was clear that the majority of them were under the belief that the terrifying presence coming from several different locations within the holy sanctuary was from their god.

Understandable given that the strength of some of these chosen awaiting bestowal disciple had only reached somewhere between the Nascent Soul Realm and Soul Ascension Realm.

"Hmph! All of you are far too inexperienced, if I’m not wrong, it should just be some of the seniors checking the situation out after sensing someone unknown stepping into the holy sanctuary."

But one clearly stood out from the masses and stepped forward to reprimand these daring juniors of his calling upon god far too casually. Making full use of his strength that had recently broken through to the Dao Seed Realm to accomplish this and at the same time also make sure these troublemakers didn’t stir up any more problems for the senior currently leading all of them forward towards the unknown.

After all, though this senior hadn’t yet broken through to the Celestial Immortal Realm, in the eyes of everyone present except Xuan Hao, it was only a matter of time before he broke through to the Celestial Immortal Realm after having become a holy light disciple.

As for what exactly this questionable senior wanted from all of them, Xuan Hao still hadn’t managed to clue everything together but had at the very least managed to gather a few clues by listening to the chatter between the weaker cultivators as they made their way through the holy sanctum on foot. Not forgetting to mark anything of note for future visits after he completed his goal of overthrowing the Heavens Faith Sect and erasing it completely from the small world.

Learning from these disciples that there had recently been rumors of trouble within the spiritual herb garden within the sanctum and several precious spiritual herbs had ended up perishing.

In the eyes of these younger disciples who could be considered at the very lowest level within the main sect outside of labor disciples taking care of the day to day operation of the sect that didn’t need to be carried out by cultivators, they guessed that the reason why they had been rounded up and led into this sacred place had to do with the spiritual herb garden that had suffered some damage recently. Guessing they would be assigned to assist the senior from the spiritual herb garden in recovering from the damage the place had suffered.

A guess that turned out to be correct, as they soon enough found themselves in one the locations closest the location where the heavenly god meditated where they were soon enough put to work rebuilding what could be described as a dead spiritual field.

In the process, Xuan Hao didn’t stand out or do anything and just followed along.

Only when the seniors seemed to have left and allowed them to work on their own did he dare to subtly spread his divine sense outwards to comb through the devastated spiritual herb garden.

Huh!? That is... A heavenly treasure!?

But only a few seconds into his search for a weakness within the nearby heavenly god that he could take advantage of , he discovered that the reason behind the devasted spiritual herb garden wasn’t some rampant spiritual herb that had gained awareness, but instead a heavenly treasure buried below ground where none of the people above had seemingly detected it.

Even better, he discovered that it wouldn’t be hard for him to sneakily take it away, so, without hesitation, he moved to the location of the treasure before pretending to fix up a part of the destroyed spiritual herb garden while discreetly moving the heavenly treasure below ground into his interspatial ring without anyone around him discovering anything in the process.
