Chapter 2432: Weeping Ossuary

After hearing Lev’s explanation, the Primal Sovereign of the Seas nodded repeatedly, as if everything had finally clicked—acting as though it hadn’t already known all along.

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas turned to the Everlasting Crimson Dragon the next moment and said to her, "I won’t stick my nose into your business, but before you proceed to fight to the death with him, you should know that he’s the Primal Monarch’s son."

"He’s what?!" The Everlasting Crimson Dragon cried out loud, her eyes bulging from their sockets from shock. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

"Oh, I mean he’s the Primal Monarch’s adopted son. He also possesses the Primal Monarch’s powers." The Primal Sovereign of the Seas corrected himself and added another detail, leaving her absolutely speechless.

The Everlasting Crimson Dragon slowly turned to look at Yuan, a terrified glint flickering in her eyes.

"I...I am willing to forgive you for disturbing my evolution," she said a moment later.

Yuan rubbed his eyes and sighed aloud, "I’ve lost the desire to fight the moment this goldfish appeared."

"Hey, that’s quite rude, especially when I gave you my Blood Essence," he remarked.

"You gave him your Blood Essence?!" The Everlasting Crimson Dragon exclaimed.

"Well, I did owe the Prima Monarch a—" the Primal Sovereign of the Seas suddenly halted his speech, his round eyes slowly shifting to glance at Yuan.

"I knew it." Yuan muttered. "You would’ve given me your Blood Essence even if I didn’t get rid of the True Emperor of the Seas."

"That’s..."

Yuan sighed out loud before speaking, "I planned to get rid of the True Emperor of the Seas, anyway. However, it doesn’t feel good knowing that I had been fooled. I’ll make sure to let my father know about this."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas’ eyes widened with disbelief.

"You’re going to complain to the Primal Monarch?! That is petty as hell!" he cried out loud.

"Well, I nearly died because of you."

"The hell are you talking about?!"

Yuan revealed what the Demon God said shortly after his departure.

"To think his master would seek vengeance so quickly..."

After a brief pause, the Primal Sovereign of the Seas continued, "But I fail to see how any of this is my fault. If you were going to kill the True Emperor of the Seas regardless, you would’ve offended her sooner or later."

"True," Yuan replied, his voice calm, "but I would’ve done so in the Nine Heavens—where she couldn’t touch me. You dragged it into the Demonic Realm, where Eternals can interfere."

"That’s..."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas’ round body stiffened at Yuan’s words, as if struck by their undeniable logic.

Sure enough, had it not dragged the True Emperor of the Seas into the Demonic Realm and urged Yuan to kill it, Prime Morveth would have had no opportunity to personally attack him.

"Not only did I nearly perish alongside this world, but I even owe the Demon God a favor for saving us," he sighed.

’What the hell is he talking about? Why did he mention the Demon God?’ Gutou and Supreme Ruler Grant listened to their conversation with confused looks on their faces.

"Fine, I get your point," said the Primal Sovereign of the Seas. "I have already given you my Blood Essence. What more do you want from me? The only thing even more valuable than my Blood Essence would be my life."

"Is that it? Do you want my life? You might as well have it if you’re going to tell the Primal Monarch about what happened."

Yuan looked at him with raised eyebrows.

"Are you that afraid of the Primal Monarch? What even is your relationship with him? Seeing how you’re even stronger than the Dragon God, I doubt you’re a nobody. Of course, I also saw some of your memories when I consumed your Blood Essence."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas stared at him in disbelief.

"You... saw my memories? So you know my true appearance? How embarrassing!" The Primal Sovereign of the Seas started fidgeting around.

"What is there to be embarrassed about?"

"You won’t get it..." he sighed. "Anyway, let’s not continue this topic."

He fell silent for a moment before speaking again, "For your assistance with the True Emperor of the Seas and your trouble, I’m willing to do the same thing for you. By that, I mean I will kill any one being for you. Of course, this is limited to beings I can actually kill, so don’t expect me to kill Eternals... or the Primal Monarch for you."

"Now why the hell would I want you to kill the Primal Monarch?" Yuan shook his head. "As for Eternals, I will deal with them myself."

"That’s relieving to hear."

"Unfortunately, I don’t need you to kill anyone for me right now, so I’ll keep this favor in my pocket for now."

"That’s fine, too."

The next moment, the Primal Sovereign of the Seas removed one of its own scales and handed it to Yuan.

<You have obtained Primal Sovereign of the Seas’ Prismatic Scale>

"If or when you have someone you want me to kill, you may tell me through that. It works like a communication jade slip, but I will only be able to hear your voice through that, so I won’t be able to respond to you."

Yuan tossed the scale into his spatial ring before asking, "I should ask you this before I use it, but how strong are you actually? So I know what you can and cannot handle beforehand."

A prideful smile tugged at the Primal Sovereign of the Seas’ lips as it responded, "My title ’Primal’ isn’t for show, you know? Besides Eternals and the Primal Monarch, I am essentially unmatched."

Yuan pondered for a moment before asking, "So you’re strong enough to defeat the Dragon God?"

"If you mean the Dragon God in his current state, then yes, I can deal with him no problem. If you’re talking about his complete form, however... that might be an issue."

"I understand." Yuan nodded, having a decent grasp of the Primal Sovereign of the Seas’ capabilities.

"Oh, I should also clarify. It’s not that I cannot defeat Eternals. I am just unable to kill them. There’s a big difference."

"Good to know."

"Then I’ll return to my feast now."

The Primal Sovereign of the Seas turned to look at the Everlasting Crimson Dragon, but he did not say anything, and after a moment of silence, dived into the Bloody Expanse, submering its massive body without causing even a single drop of water to splash.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Yuan asked the Everlasting Crimson Dragon. "Do you still want to fight?"

The Everlasting Crimson Dragon hastily shook her head. Even without Yuan saying it, she knew that he wouldn’t hesitate to make the Primal Sovereign of the Seas kill her for him.

While she wasn’t worried that Yuan might find her true body, the Primal Sovereign of the Seas was an entirely different story, as he could locate anything within the seas, regardless of their distance and location.

Yuan then said, "If you’re going to return to your evolution or whatever, wait until we’re done here because I will only disturb you again."

"That’s fine. It’s not like I can immediately return to my cultivation after being disturbed," she sighed.

"Sorry for disturbing you, by the way. It really wasn’t on purpose."

The Everlasting Crimson Dragon didn’t say anything else and disappeared into the water shortly later.

A moment later, Yuan turned to look at Gutou and said, "With the waters returning to normal, you should no longer have any issues guiding us to the Weeping Ossuary, right?"

Gutou silently nodded his head.

Without another word, he resumed their journey.

With the currents returning to normal, Gutou swiftly located the Weeping Ossuary, and within five years, guided them to their destination.

"Dear esteemed guests, we have finally arrived at our destination—the Weeping Ossuary!" Gutou announced out loud the moment he saw its silhouette on the horizon.

"That’s the Weeping Ossuary? What an ominous-looking place," Yuan remarked after seeing the island.

The island lay under a blanket of ash, dominated by a massive castle of bone that took up about seventy percent of the land’s space. There were no trees or plants—only desolation, the castle being the island’s only feature.

Without hesitation, Yuan used his divine sense to examine the castle’s interior.

"I can only sense a single presence inside. Is this normal?" Yuan turned to Gutou.

"Uhh... I have never actually been inside, but no, I don’t think it’s normal," he replied.

Hearing this, Yuan quickly approached the Weeping Ossuary without uttering another word.

Supreme Ruler Dena and the others quickly followed.

Some time later, Yuan stopped right outside the castle. Or more precisely, he was forced to stop by the powerful formation that enveloped the entire place.

"What should we do about—"

Before Gutou could even finish his sentence, Yuan retrieved Number One Under Heaven and swung it at the formation.
