Here is a small hillside, along the winding road leading upwards, beyond this car assembly plant there’s hardly any other construction in sight.

Further up the road, you would see Arasaka Estate—a very prestigious and wealthy villa district.

In the past, the peaceful environment here was refreshing, and the view of Night City from this hill, away from the hustle and bustle, was uniquely captivating.

But today was different—

The roar of engines echoed through the hilltop, and from afar, the security on the wall saw Wanderer’s convoy recklessly rushing over!

"The Wanderers have lost their minds! Fire! Quick, activate the Mecha!"

Lama, the person in charge of Black Antelope Automobile Company, bellowed to get the staff into a combat state!

The factory went into red alert, and the reddish cars surged forward, charging the gate under the sentry’s firepower on the wall!

"They’re on a suicide mission!"

That was a hail of bullets—not rain!

Bullets easily punctured the old battered cars of the hardened Wanderers, some even going through holes that already existed.

This should have been a difficult siege.

However, under the first wave of the Wanderers’ fearless assault, their surprise attack was maximized, confusing the Black Antelope guards who had the terrain advantage!

The lead car was still a dozen meters from the gate when it suddenly exploded, but the blast propelled the car fiercely towards the boom barrier of the Black Antelope Automobile Company!

"Fuck biotechnology!!!"

The driver, a Wanderer, had his skin stripped off by the flames, his flesh exposed, even his white bones visible!

In the end, completely devoured by flames!

Bang!

The car aflame burst through the gate, sending several soldiers who had just set up their firing array flying upon impact!

And there weren’t just one of these cars!

Bullets struck the cars, the Wanderers neither dodging nor flinching, even sticking their heads out the windows, shouldering rockets, aiming at the watchtower with bloodshot eyes, burning up under the illumination of flame and intense light!

Several rockets fired at point-blank range, blowing up the sentry towers on the walls!

Following behind the convoy, a Delamain taxi trailed closely—Mann Team inside the car was deeply shocked by the scene.

They were mercenaries.

In the circles they moved in, the people they saw, the enemies they fought against, and even they themselves, all banded together for money, wandering in Night City.

If they were about to die, they would find every possible way to cling to life.

This cold city might have a few who were willing to sacrifice their lives for something else, but it was rare.

And here, the Wanderers were truly burning themselves up for others!

The suicidal charge disrupted the facility’s defense in an instant—or rather, such an attack was simply unstoppable!

In just a moment, the raid broke through the defenses, and Mann Team took advantage of the chaos, rushing into the Black Antelope Automobile Company amid constant explosions and impacts!

"Threats to your immediate safety detected, Delamain’s Exacting Excellence service will provide comprehensive assistance until you reach your destination."

Delamain’s navigation was accurate to the meter, cutting through the gunfire and chaos, quickly following the route to the innermost warehouse!

"You have reached your destination, considering the current environment, please exit the vehicle cautiously."

"He’s even reminding us to be careful getting out!" Pila found this rather amusing, only to be smacked by Rebecca.

"Stupid big brother, is this the time to be talking about that? Let’s move!"

The car stopped by the warehouse, everyone jumped out, and they saw the rolling door slowly rising.

Inside the warehouse were several gigantic industrial robotic arms, truly resembling a car assembly plant.

A few people in blue work clothes were adjusting an Arasaka Mecha; stunned at first by the car that sped and stopped before them, and then the people who jumped out.

But the Mecha didn’t freeze.

Zi—Chi—

The massive creature began to stand, its indicator lights suddenly turning red—

All members of Mann Team felt a chill through their bones.

"Threat detected, eliminating target."

Bang!

At the crucial moment, a car charged with full force into the Mecha!

The giant Arasaka Mecha, propelled by the momentum of the car, hit the wall, but that was its limit.

The Mecha quickly adjusted its stance, managed to stop the car, then turned its gun barrel and aimed through the front windshield at the red-eyed Wanderer—

"Get your fucking ass to work—"

Tap tap tap tap!

The heavy machine gun tore the Wanderer to shreds, but the car’s throttle was still floored—because the throttle had been set to the max right from the start!

The engine’s power fought against the Arasaka Mecha, the tires screeching shrilly against the ground!

Everyone snapped out of their daze, and Mann, with his one arm, was the first to react, immediately pulling out his lethal shotgun to fire!

Bang!

The bullets that could blow up a person only added a few more scratch marks on the Arasaka Mecha’s armor!

As the team’s hackers and tech experts, Qi Wei and Pila reacted by running towards the storage room!

Qi Wei said over the communication channel:

"Only specialized armor-piercing weapons can penetrate Arasaka Mecha’s armor! Cover me!"

It wasn’t that Qi Wei suddenly had decisiveness and command abilities, nor was Pila that autonomously strong.

It was because the action manual Lille gave them was detailed to this extent—

"Warning One: Arasaka Mecha must be attacked with specialized armor-piercing bullets; most weapons available on the market do not possess this ability."

"Warning Two: People will panic when facing such a weapon, acting instinctively, which may result in random gunfire."

"Warning Three: When facing an activated Arasaka Mecha, prioritize evasion, look for subnet interfaces, and use environmental elements to buy time!"

As soon as Mann fired, they remembered these points.

Thankfully, Mann’s shot didn’t escalate his threat level beyond that of the car resisting the Mecha, which was still outwitting the vehicle—

But it probably wouldn’t hold out much longer.

Mann gritted his teeth and exchanged a look with Dolly, then immediately took cover outside the storage room to intercept the security trying to support the room.

Rebecca, with her dual guns, broke the legs of two technicians who were preparing to flee—these were mission targets; the staff’s lives had to be spared.

Inside the storage room was a small office; from outside, the server could be seen plainly, and Qi Wei headed straight for that room.

However, the Arasaka Mecha broke free—

Its lengthy machine gun arms stretched out to one side, directly blasting the vehicle’s rims, and the car, losing its wheels, greatly slowed down—

The Arasaka Mecha’s powerful mechanical legs thrust fiercely, tipping the car aside!

Fortunately, by this time Pila had already reached the mechanical arm control console, and immediately logged in with the prepared account to control the industrial mechanical arm!

Just as the Arasaka Mecha rid itself of the car and took a couple of steps forward, ready to fire, a mechanical arm from the side swung over at high speed!

Thump!

The industrial mechanical arm rotated in overload, even sparking with electricity, and delivered a heavy blow to one of the machine gun arms of the Arasaka Mecha, bending it at the joint!

"Threat targets cleared."

The mechanical voice announced, and the missiles retracted back into the weapon bay, the team feeling like they had just escaped Death God’s grasp.

Qi Wei’s hands trembled slightly—a second later, and they would have all been finished.

But the job wasn’t over yet; they had to take full control of the Black Antelope Automobile Company.

Qi Wei, sweating from her forehead, found the Arasaka Mecha’s security files... and then deleted all the information of the original Black Antelope Automobile Company personnel.

The Mecha’s indicator light turned red again.

Outside the storage room, Mann and Dolly were being pinned down by bullets and running out of breath, but suddenly, heavy machine gun fire erupted from behind them—

Large caliber bullets poured out, effortlessly shattering the boxes in the compound.

What Mann and his team could call cover, was like a torn piece of paper against the Arasaka Mecha.

The company’s original staff watched in terror at the machine—that strongest security installation which once belonged to them.

All was lost.

After finishing all this, Qi Wei took out the prepared Interferer and walked towards the employees on the ground, wailing with broken legs.

"Which one of you is Lama?"

Several employees pointed frantically at one person; the indicated person was so flustered, he even forgot to express his pain.

"Please, let me go. I’m just a worker. What do you want..."

"You’re begging the wrong person for mercy; I’m also just a worker. Let’s be understanding of each other, shall we?"

Qi Wei set up the Interferer and plugged it into the man’s port.

Then she immediately contacted Lille.

"It’s done here, the hijacking device is in place."
