Chapter 105: Four monsters 3

Ray wasn’t happy with how his levels worked at all. At level 7 he received Babylon, which many times had been useful but not something that he needed, and there was his domain; it actually didn’t give him anything special, just a way to move through a space without being noticed.

To this day, his strongest equipment is still what he received at level 5, and his last trump card.

A small empty bottle came out from his soul; its ability was simple: it gave Ray’s blood outside of his body the same features as the ones inside. In the past he usually mixed it with strong poison; however, now he had a stronger poison inside of him.

The blood of fear of hunger still ran through his veins; it probably couldn’t have the same effects as the devil itself, but some mind damage and slowing down the enemy still were useful. The problem was how long the effect lasted; usually it lasted for thirty minutes, but now it should have been much shorter.

Breaking the bottle, the scenery around him changed; the red blood projectiles turned into a dark color with a weird aura leaking out of them.

Blocking a strike from the horseman, Aria joined the fight too, with a spear in her hand and two bows floating behind her back.

Giving them space, Scarlet landed a kick to the side of the horseman, throwing it to the north, following it behind. Her safest option at the moment was to stay away from Aria as much as possible.

Faced with the angry immortal, Ray raised an eyebrow. "How about an alliance?"

"Fuck off." The bows behind her back started to shoot purple arrows with her coming at him with breaking sound barrier speed.

In the air, their blades clashed. Ray teleported back as the many stars came out of her sword, exploding one after another. From the blast, Nova slashed after Ray’s body.

With his new blood, Ray swung his scythe, blocking the slash with his own. Both forces collided, but with her magic still being superior to him, her magic came out on top but was weakened to a point that Ray easily dodged it. From each direction came more and more slashes.

A first drop of rain fell on Aria’s face, touching the liquor; she could sense her skin deflecting its powers. "It’s raining blood..."

With heavy rain, he had infinite space to teleport in between, dodging the slashes with ease; his figure moved to a height higher than Aria’s. Blood orbs changed form around him into human-made weapons.

Ten machine guns all around the field started to fire with unlimited bullets toward his foe, facing the heat around Aria; instead of vaporizing, they turned into gas. In a blink, a black gas sphere was made with Aria at the center of it.

"Now, she must get out and risk her guard being open for seconds or just blow everything up." Ray waited outside with his grip tightened around Orcus.

Inside of gas, Aria summoned one of her equipment too, a horn belonging to a mythical creature from across the space; on Earth it had a name in history too, Godzilla!

Creating six purple stars around her body, each the size of a tall building, each one could easily wipe out half of planet earth from life, but Aria’s plan was different; if the blood angel were killed off in an explosion, it couldn’t satisfy her.

Eating the small horn, large horns grew out from her head, and with her tail too, she barely looked human. Opening her mouth, like a storm, all the gas and the stars around her started to be pulled into her body, and with each piece of stars, her spine lightened with purple light.

With one breath, the sky became clear; the machine guns still shot constantly, but Aria ignored them; her target was elsewhere. Her eye spotted the blood angel in the west, far from him, in the same direction Scarlet was fighting the horseman. "How sad to think I wouldn’t attack."

Holding in her breath, as the magic gathered enough power inside of her throat, she let go of the flames inside of her.

"Fucking monster..." Ray ran back to Scarlet’s side in hope the flames wouldn’t reach there, but instead of them distinguishing, their powers increased as they took more and more space within the festival.

"Hey, how to deal with her?" He asked casually from the other immortal, like they were best friends.

Scarlet yelled back, "It’s your fault; find a way to deal with it yourself."

No matter how much Ray thought, there seemed no way out of it. Scarlet probably had a way to protect herself; the only other being in there was the horseman, and Ray doubted that even it could hold out for long against such an attack.

Observing the horseman’s shape and form, an old story sparkled in Ray’s mind. "I have a very stupid idea..." As he started to tell the parasite inside of him the details, his mind worked on perfecting his plan.

"I can see a world where it works; I can see a world where you get burned to death."

Ray flew toward the other two with flames chasing him in the air. "How are the chances?"

"20 percent chance you will live."

His smile grew wider. "More than enough."

Sensing his presence, Scarlet backed away to another corner to set up her defense; the horseman, however, wasn’t smart enough to do such a thing. With a roar, it charged toward Ray; its destruction field was still active around its body.

Ray’s hand moved down on Orcus’s spine, holding it from the very bottom. He increased his strength to his limits and threw the scythe toward the lower body of the horseman.

With its body made out of sand, blades didn’t work on it anyway, so it just continued on its way toward Ray, which it missed as the weapon cut its side; their locations changed at once.

Before destruction magic could shred his body, Ray’s form changed into blood. Moving into the small hole in the monster’s body, his voice came from within the alien’s body: "Now, you are going to be my Trojan horse!"
