Chapter 119: Who is blood angel?

Not much had changed in two years; just some buildings had changed color into green because of the new fashion, except the area was exactly as he remembered it.

Ray stepped into the tower from the front door; apparently after his death, the military took control of all of his wealth and turned his tower into a research center for magical crystals. The money didn’t matter any longer to him, but the tower was different; that was the only location on earth that he called home; the idea of someone else owning it was unimaginable.

Less than ten minutes had passed since his return, and his first goal was to tell the world that he returned and what better way to take back his biggest property?

Around him people were in suits or military uniforms; everyone stared at him like he came from another world. He had worn a simple black robe, and with golden eyes and a blue, he seemed so out of place.

"They changed the design too..." Ray whispered to himself. He enjoyed simple design like white for his tower, but now all over the place was covered with formulas and some ads about the price of some equipment.

In the center of the first floor, they had a counter with a woman running it. Around it was filled with men in suits likely after something.

Ray walked toward the counter; some of the guards had noticed his bizarre looks and were getting close to him.

"Evacuate the building; I will destroy it in ten minutes." His voice echoed through the whole hall, "You worms using what is mine like you own it."

Everyone had gone silent; before the guards could pull out their weapons, their bodies exploded, with their flesh and blood spraying all around them.

The silence was broken as screams after screams came out from everyone as they started to run toward the exit. Alarms rang on each floor in seconds, telling the non-military members to get out as fast as possible.

The woman behind the counter stayed in her spot; compared to the rest of them, she was relaxed in the situation. She asked with a cocky attitude, "Another terrorist? Just get tired already."

Ray took a side glance; a blood slash attacked from his side, cutting half of her head in a perfect slice.

"There should be someone strong in here..." His mind scanned all the floors at once; his soul abilities were not great enough to guess someone’s level, but with the aura of magic around one’s body, he could find the strongest ones.

In a few breaths he found three targets on the 100th floor. The easiest way to get there was to teleport there, but he didn’t want to finish it so fast, so he walked toward the elevator, taking it instead.

"Those stupid people even changed the elevator!" The elevator in the main hall could reach the last floor in one go; they had put away all the security measures.

Since Ray had died, no one bothered to delete him as the owner of the tower; its system still recognized Ray, taking him to his target location.

The number of people in the building got lower and lower; already news reporters were outside of the building, and with a clear shot of his face, everyone knew the culprit, the one who had died two years ago, now had returned in a mysterious way.

On the top floor, two of three teleported away; their strongest one yet stayed on the floor.

In exactly 100 seconds, the doors of the elevator opened; once his home now had turned into a huge office with desks and smaller offices on the sides. Destroying the walls, they had turned it all into one big room.

The person awaiting him in the middle room was a familiar face, a man with short blonde hair who looked more like a woman than a man.

"How are you alive?" With a scream he asked Ray, "My mother died because of you!"

Ray ignored him and walked around the big office; the sense of his home was still there. "Do you want revenge?"

"No, I’m better than the likes of you. I wouldn’t get into a demon like you lot. Surrender and let the law decide your fate." Even with controlling himself, traces of rage were visible on his face.

Ray sat on one of the chairs and raised an eyebrow. "What happens if I don’t?"

Two laser guns shot from outside of the building, and tens of gathering guns shot at Ray. The laser’s target was his chest, but even with its super speed, Ray had already traveled to the other side of the room.

Raol summoned more weapons; however, a blast of magic came out of Ray’s body, crushing anything in its path. "I can use my magic without its physical form!" He was disappointed; Raol was only level 7, and not having any experience in fighting meant he was not a good enough test subject.

"Weapon of ma-"

His equipment calling was cut short by Ray’s punch hitting his face; all of his teeth broke in his mouth as blood flooded from his nose. Taking control of his hair with his other hand, Ray pulled him toward the glass wall on the other side of the office. Helicopters of military and news were watching him, but no one dared to interfere.

Holding his head, Ray once more punched his face, and once more. The sound of bones breaking was like a song to his ears. After a few more punches, the vice general was on the brink of death; having no use for him anymore, Ray threw him out of the window.

His wings grew from his waist; instead of his own blood, they were made out of dark blood. Using the blood of fear and hunger, they were much faster than his own blood, and its aura was terrifying for anyone that got near it.

He flew to the top of the tower, "If I don’t own it, no one else will." Pointing his hand at the sky, an orb of blood shaped above his head. With a snap of his finger, the orb fell to the ground, destroying the tall tower in its path. Ray watched with no feeling as, floor by floor, his home got destroyed by his own hand.

In less than a minute, nothing had remained from the tower, just a big hole in the ground where its ruins were. Achieving his goal, Ray teleported away to a small base that he had from a long time ago.

"Now, who is going to contract me first, Jade or the goddess squad?"
