Dimensional Keeper: All My Skills Are at Level 100
Chapter 1729: Elf Prince’s Approach!
Max nodded, and his expression became a little colder as the name of his next target appeared in his mind. "I still have to take care of Munro. After that, I will be heading somewhere else."
Nick understood immediately.
Munro.
The moment that name appeared, Nick’s expression also turned serious. He had not forgotten the reason Max had entered this place, nor had he forgotten that Max still had enemies waiting outside the Combat Hall.
The trial had given Max an absurd number of Killing Points, but to Max, this was clearly not the end. It was only one stop along the way. There were still matters he had to settle, and knowing Max’s personality, if he said he was going to take care of Munro, then Munro’s fate was already almost decided.
Max placed one hand on Nick’s shoulder and looked at him with a faint smile.
"Take care of yourself," Max said. "Do not get dragged into unnecessary fights, and if someone troublesome comes looking for you, avoid them if you can."
Nick looked at him for a moment, then gave a helpless smile.
"You say that after causing the biggest scene in the entire Combat Hall?"
Max shrugged lightly. "That is different."
Nick almost laughed, but then he sighed and nodded. "Fine. I will be careful. You should also watch yourself. After what you did, demons, elves, and probably even some humans will start paying attention to you."
Max smiled faintly. "Let them."
After saying that, he turned around and prepared to leave.
However, before Max could take more than a few steps, a figure suddenly appeared in front of him and blocked his path.
The surrounding atmosphere changed at once.
The person standing before him was the golden-haired elven prince.
He stood there with calm elegance, his long golden hair falling smoothly over his shoulders, his emerald eyes fixed directly on Max, and his posture carrying the natural nobility of someone who had been born above others.
He did not release any killing intent, nor did he show hostility openly, but the moment he stood in front of Max, many participants nearby instinctively quieted down. Even among the elves, his status was clearly not ordinary.
Standing beside him was the silver-haired elven woman Max had killed not long ago.
Her face was complicated knowing how she had been defeated by Max, but her eyes were calm as she stood slightly behind the golden-haired prince. When she looked at Max again, there was no hatred in her gaze, only caution, curiosity, and a lingering seriousness that had not been there before their battle.
Max stopped.
Nick’s expression immediately changed, and he stepped slightly closer to Max, his eyes moving between the golden-haired elven prince and the silver-haired woman.
The nearby humans also became tense.
The demons watched silently from a distance, some with cold smiles, as if they hoped another conflict would break out before Max could leave the Combat Hall.
Max looked at the golden-haired elven prince, then glanced at the silver-haired woman beside him.
His smile became faintly mocking.
"What is this?" Max asked. "Do the elves want another test?" 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚
The silver-haired elven woman’s expression shifted slightly, but she did not speak.
The golden-haired elven prince looked at Max in silence for a moment, and his gaze seemed to study every part of him.
"No," the golden-haired elven prince said calmly. "I am not here to challenge you."
Max raised an eyebrow.
"Then move."
The words were casual, but they carried enough arrogance to make several elves behind the prince frown.
The golden-haired prince did not seem offended by Max’s cold attitude. He simply stood in front of him with the same calm expression, his emerald eyes studying Max’s face as if he was looking for a reaction that could confirm the suspicion forming in his mind.
"I only want to ask you something," the golden-haired prince said.
Max narrowed his eyes slightly.
"What is it?" he asked, his voice carrying a trace of curiosity despite the impatience in his expression.
The golden-haired prince looked at him for a brief moment, then asked in a casual tone, "Who is Caelira to you?"
The moment that name entered Max’s ears, everything around him seemed to stop.
His expression changed instantly.
The calmness in his eyes shattered, and an uncontrollable surge of rage exploded from deep within his chest. That name was not something he had expected to hear here, not from an elf, and certainly not from someone who looked as young as the golden-haired prince. Caelira was his mother.
Even though Max knew it was the elves who had taken his parents away, he had never thought the younger generation of the elves would know anything related to that incident, because in his mind, something so cruel and secretive should have been hidden among the higher ranks of their race.
But this elf had spoken her name.
He had spoken it casually.
"How do you know that name?!" Max snapped.
The words came out like a roar.
Before anyone nearby could react, Max stepped forward and grabbed the golden-haired prince by the collar. His fingers clenched tightly around the elven prince’s clothes, and a violent wave of energy burst from his body as his emotions tore through the restraint he had placed upon himself. The humans nearby froze in shock.
The elves behind the golden-haired prince immediately moved as if they wanted to act, but the silver-haired elven woman raised one hand and stopped them, her face tense as she stared at Max’s furious expression.
Max did not care about any of them.
His eyes were locked onto the golden-haired prince.
If he had known the younger generation of the elves might possess information about his mother, then his attitude toward them inside the Combat Hall would have been completely different. He might not have simply killed and ignored them.
He might have captured a few, broken their pride, and tortured the answers out of them one by one. The thought alone made the rage inside him burn even hotter.
"Calm down," the golden-haired prince said, his voice still strangely steady despite being held by the collar.
