Currently, the Maneater Leech King and the Wind Shadow Wolf were tangling with each other. Facing the Maneater Leech King’s shockingly fast jumps, the Wolf’s speed and agility were finally showing signs of meeting its match.

“Awoooooo!”, the Wind Shadow Wolf let out a pained cry as the purple lightning slammed into its chest. Following that, the Maneater Leech King’s thick, soft body latched firmly onto the Wind Shadow Wolf. Its sharp yet tiny teeth opened a hole in its body effortlessly.

In just a few seconds of time, the Wind Shadow Wolf’s body dried up visibly.

“Shit, its so ferocious!” Zhang Che was astonished. -Luckily I blocked it earlier. Wouldn’t I be dead for sure, otherwise?-

He was different from his subdued beasts; no matter how severe their injuries were, as long as they didn’t die on the spot and dissipate, they could quickly recover after returning to Zhang Che’s spiritual sea, nourished by the rainbow fog.

There was only one path for the flesh and blood Zhang Che if he suffered such an injury, however, and that was death!

The Psychedelic Ghost-Patterned Butterfly lost its balance and fell from the air, spinning, and turned into another streak of light, returning to Zhang Che’s spiritual sea.

With that, two of Zhang Che’s capable subdued beasts were heavily wounded, one after another.

However, the Fiery Scorpion successfully locked the Maneater Leech King onto its back, as well!

Zhang Che’s legs stamped violently on the ground, and he erupted out at the fastest speed he ever mustered, slashing at the Maneater Leech King’s body with all his might before the Fiery Scorpion turned into a streak of light.

“Chi!” the Maneater Leech King’s body was nearly cleaved into two by Zhang Che. The purple-green fluid splattered once more and stained his face, carrying that stench with it.

At the same time, the Fiery Scorpion couldn’t hold on any longer and turned into a streak of light, returning to Zhang Che’s spiritual sea. It transformed back into a beast card filled with cracks, devouring the abundant rainbow fog in his spiritual sea crazily to recover from its severe injuries.

With nothing restricting it anymore, the Maneater Leech King contracted its body to store up strength. Just as it was about to pounce at Zhang Che, a green arc of sword light swept through its body once more.
