Divine Beast Creator
Chapter 2333 - 2334: The Possible Three Divine Beasts
The entire range of the Cave of Garomar is immense. Even with Feng Yuan and the others splitting up, it took several days to complete a thorough investigation. Of course, it’s not without its benefits. Besides pinpointing the specific locations of various traces left within the Cave of Garomar, they also obtained a complete map of the cave.
Although, that thing isn’t of much use to Feng Yuan and the others.
"Judging by the distribution, there seems to be no particular pattern. No, that’s not exactly it. I feel it’s more like guiding a venting of energy?"
"In other words, that blizzard, they probably caused it. But, by the direction... this should be the Dominator of All’s energy venting point?"
With complete data, everyone could finally see what those people had done. Without considering the structure of the Cave of Garomar, judging by the locations of the Divine Runes, they were distributed in a vortex pattern collectively, with the center being one of the points.
Since they had been to the place where the Dominator of All was sealed before, Feng Yuan remembered its approximate location. Agunas flicked his tail and said.
"That seems about right. They used the power of the Dominator of All to create that blizzard, presumably to protect Coletos. But, what kind of deal did they make with Coletos?"
"Who knows? How about we head to Coletos?"
Glancing around, Feng Yuan said. The entire Cave of Garomar didn’t have many hidden things. If Feng Yuan and the others hadn’t needed to investigate all the Divine Rune positions, they probably could have left long ago.
Agunas flicked his tail and said.
"Alright, that’s probably the only option for now. Do I need to inform Milos Lulu?"
"No need, it’s not like we need her to host, and besides, what if they’re targeting Milos Lulu?"
After thinking, Feng Yuan waved his hand in refusal. Milos Lulu, the Divine Beast behind Coletos, governs the Frigid Winter Plains, though not strong in authority. But precisely because of this, she can easily establish a connection with humans.
After all, powerful Divine Beasts like Agunas naturally harbor doubt about whether humans have hidden motives when interacting with them.
Milos Lulu, however, doesn’t have this concern because, in terms of strength, she’s among the weakest of the Divine Beasts.
People generally aren’t particularly interested in her, but this allows her to interact with humans easily without worrying they have ulterior motives.
As far as Agunas knows, Milos Lulu is one of the rare Divine Beasts living directly with humans. Of course, creatures like Najia don’t count, as his situation with Yang Hongzhi is quite special. Normally, Divine Beasts of that strength rarely live casually with humans.
As for Agunas and the others?
To them, they don’t worry that Feng Yuan intends to exploit their power. In truth, they need to rely on Feng Yuan’s strength.
Because Milos Lulu often appears in human society, Feng Yuan suspected those guys might be targeting her. After all, as a Divine Beast, she would surely not tolerate those people’s nonsense.
"Speaking of which, what Divine Beasts are there in Kastantos? Might they have survived too?"
Curious about something, Feng Yuan asked, to which Veronia thought for a moment and said.
"Aside from those we can confirm have fallen, I remember there’s the Lord of the Peaks Karlum, the King of the Rock Prison Di Wentian, and the Spirit of Mingyu Lomi An. But whether they escaped the Great Destruction, I’m unclear."
"Only those three left?"
Agunas looked at Veronia in surprise, and she sneered.
"What else? Little Crocodile, you didn’t experience the final battle, you don’t know how many Divine Beasts and Divine Beings fell then."
"Even Mitradite was like that. Frankly, I don’t even know whether that war was instigated by Him. Because if everyone were present, perhaps the Great Destruction wouldn’t have happened."
"Ha, didn’t think I’d start blaming irrelevant beings, when clearly it was our own wars for resources and land. Even with His provocation, isn’t it still our fault..."
With a self-deprecating laugh, Veronia didn’t continue, as it was their own issue. Even without His guidance, a long-standing conflict would inevitably culminate in war.
Just like Agunas’s fall before the great war, at that time, the Mythical Era was already a powder keg ready to explode. Whether someone ignited it was no longer important; at that stage, a mere spark sufficed to trigger a full-scale war.
Flicking his tail, Agunas didn’t know how to persuade her; he hadn’t experienced the battles before the Great Destruction. Though he could learn about that period through other means, it wasn’t a personal experience, and hence he didn’t have deep feelings about it.
"Hmm, three Divine Beasts, and they don’t seem particularly weak either. But whether they survived the Great Destruction is hard to say."
Chin resting in contemplation, Feng Yuan mused aloud. He wasn’t deeply familiar with the Divine Beasts of the Mythical Era, unsure if those three had means of self-preservation.
"No one can say for sure. In the past, I thought there were almost no survivors post-Great Destruction, but then..."
Veronia shook her head, noting the appearance of Mythological Remnants suggested otherwise. Many who survived the Great Destruction merely hid in unknown corners.
Perhaps the only certainty is that for Mitradite, there are likely no other survivors.
"Never mind, let’s assume they’re backed by three Divine Beasts. To solve their issues, besides finding them, the biggest hassle will likely be those three beasts."
With a shrug, Feng Yuan remarked, while Agunas flicked his tail saying.
"If it’s just three Divine Beasts, it’s not insurmountable."
"Tsk, a Divine Beast battle, huh? If you do it, keep it away from land and fight in the skies."
Glaring at Agunas, Feng Yuan commented grumpily. Although he knew if there were truly three Divine Beasts, a clash between them was unavoidable.
No choice, Feng Yuan didn’t believe those beasts wouldn’t protect the Kashantuosi Remnants. If they clashed, the outcome was predictable.
"Staying off land isn’t possible; Kastantos relies on the strength of the peaks. They wouldn’t be bullied by fighting on someone else’s ground."
Veronia chuckled lightly, prompting Feng Yuan to roll his eyes and say.
"Then there’s no helping it. Might need to get others out of the way, or else, tsk."
"Let’s not dwell on this; let’s leave. There’s nothing else worth seeing here. Let’s find a hotel in the nearby city; several days without proper rest has left me exhausted."
Stretching with a tired expression, Feng Yuan remarked, even though Big Cat had complete camping gear, the Cave of Garomar wasn’t conducive to good rest.
As for resting at Kong Qing’s villa?
While possible, lack of timely communication with Agunas and others led Feng Yuan to abandon that idea.
Besides, Feng Yuan couldn’t relax in such a place. 𝑓𝘳𝘦𝑒𝑤𝑒𝘣𝘯ℴ𝘷𝘦𝓁.𝑐𝑜𝑚
"Let’s go; I’ll open the door."
Agunas flicked his tail, creating a Space Gate. This area had no spatial restrictions, so his Space Gate opened normally.
Moreover, with the Snowfield Pass, Feng Yuan and the others didn’t need to register entry at the city.
But, unexpectedly, Agunas’s opening of the Space Gate alarmed the guards of Lordman City.
Even with the Snowfield Pass, it doesn’t automatically identify the Space Gate user.
Seeing the soldiers surrounding them, Feng Yuan recalled something and said.
"Seems we didn’t report the Space Gate."
With a tail flick, Agunas said.
"Leave it to me."
Though planning a covert investigation in Coletos’s city, a minor accident exposed their presence.
Still, Feng Yuan didn’t mind much. Those guys daring to surveil him would eventually slip up.
Despite the trouble of opening a Space Gate without registration, as it was a Divine Beast doing it, the guards could only caution them slightly and let it slide.
They couldn’t really hold Agunas accountable; probably lacked the capability, and strictly speaking, they had little means to regulate or limit Divine Beasts using spatial techniques.
