Evelynn explained the process of how Everlight ended up enhancing Freya and Katherine's bloodline.

Apparently, she did so in the form of wanting to test her powers as she had unlocked accurate information from her bloodline after becoming an immortal beast.

At first, Evelynn was worried that things would go wrong without Davis's being present but eventually relented as she also wanted to see how Everlight had improved in a short amount of time. The latter was no longer a mortal beast but an immortal beast.

Nonetheless, Everlight started testing her second species technique's first level, Bloodline Impelling Evolution: Noble, on Katherine as the first test subject.

Naturally, Katherine was scared initially, but after putting Mira in front of her and goading her, they naturally made her agree.

Furthermore, she revealed that as long as the recipient of the Bloodline Impelling Evolution technique was at a minor stage lower than her, the chances of making them an Emperor-Tier Beast by just using a single tail went above thirty percent from zero.

For each subsequent minor stage lower than her, the percentage would only go up by ten to twenty percent.

If three tails were used, it was practically a done deal as it was ninety-nine percent for anyone a minor stage lower than her.

Everlight thanked all of them for cooperating with her, but it was Shirley and the others who were grateful. Without doing anything, they got to witness the birth of a King-Tier Rumbling Earthtail Lion and an Emperor-Tier Burning Phoenix.

Their magnificent aura was shocking as they stood side by side. Even though their prowess wasn't high or comparable to them as magical beasts, they could be considered suppressed in the mortal realm as they didn't have access to a third cultivation system.

But in the immortal realm, they could truly reveal their potential as long as they could retain their bloodline tier.

"At first, Freya had fun flying around the palace. After the excitement died down, she appeared before us and said that she intended to give her blood to Sect Master Lea. However, she also imposed a condition on us and said that she would only bestow the blood essence if she could also grant Esvele her bloodline in the future."

Evelynn wryly smiled, causing Davis's lips to twitch as the shock factor left his body.

He knew that Esvele and Freya were good friends, but he didn't think that they had become extremely close. However, considering that they had been together ever since Shirley came to him and became pregnant, he could understand Freya's emotions.

Davis was surprised. Schleya cared about returning? He imagined that she was grateful to Mingzhi and perhaps him, not wanting to disappoint them in return as he knew Schleya's character.

This made him prefer her more to the upcoming true disciple match setup. If she was willing to stay, then she wouldn't arbitrarily go anywhere while risking the safety of the group.

Davis was flabbergasted as his eyes remained fixed on the skimpy-clothed, ghostly pale-skinned voluptuous beauty who looked at him as though she had amnesia or something.

Davis wryly smiled but saw Evelynn enjoy this as though she was a child displaying her achievements to her father and became satisfied.

However, he really felt complicated about this matter.

Evelynn was so conservative that she wouldn't be learning any poison or darkness-related Laws if it weren't for him. She had made many sacrifices to her psyche many times to be with him and was now even able to remain unfazed in the presence of a cadaveric aura, which rather felt like millions of insects running over his skin rather than striking him with sheer terror like death energy but both were chilling, to say the least.

He was deeply moved by her acceptance and determination, wanting to make love with her more and more and make her comfortable.

There was also the matter of Lereza.

She wouldn't say anything about the rewards to him or the conditions needed to fulfilling them but still gave them out.
