Divine War Pill Emperor
Chapter 103: Get Out, Get Out Immediately
When Elder Xiao Gu of the Alchemy Master Guild announced that their president wanted to see Jiang Chen.
As the Patriarch of the Jiang Family, Jiang Han was completely dumbfounded, unable to process what he’d just heard.
The President of the Alchemist Guild was a truly extraordinary figure.
Most people couldn’t even dream of getting an audience with him.
And now, this person was taking the initiative to see his son.
It was simply unbelievable.
"Yes, of course. I’ll have someone fetch him immediately."
Jiang Han didn’t dare to delay.
But he quickly added, "Elder Xiao Gu, please wait a moment. On second thought, I’ll go get him myself."
He realized he needed to give his son a few pointers first. He asked Jiang Men to entertain Elder Xiao Gu for a moment, then rushed off to find Jiang Chen.
At that moment, Jiang Chen was relaxing in his courtyard, admiring the flowers and enjoying the scenery, perfectly at ease.
With Liang Yiyi attentively waiting on him, life was quite pleasant.
"Son, Son...!"
Just then, he heard his father’s hurried voice.
Then, with a CRASH, Jiang Han burst in from outside.
Jiang Chen looked up in surprise. "Dad, what’s wrong now?"
He could see his father was in a panic, as if something urgent had happened.
Jiang Han grabbed Jiang Chen and started to drag him away.
"Let’s go, quickly! Master Qin, the President of the Alchemist Guild, wants to see you."
"He’s already sent Elder Xiao Gu from the Alchemy Master Guild. He’s waiting in our main hall right now. Hurry, come with me!"
Jiang Chen was bewildered.
He was speechless as his father dragged him along.
"Dad, don’t rush. What’s the hurry?" he grumbled.
His father was dragging him along as if his life depended on it.
"Keep your voice down," Jiang Han instructed. "Listen to me. The man who has come to our Jiang Family is an Elder from the Alchemy Master Guild named Xiao Gu."
"When you see him, you must address him as Elder Xiao Gu. If you say the wrong thing and anger him, our Jiang Family won’t be able to bear the consequences."
"Be careful. You absolutely must be careful and speak to him properly."
Jiang Chen didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
’He’s just an Elder from the Alchemy Master Guild. What’s the big deal?’
Jiang Chen was already annoyed with the man before he’d even met him.
His own father was so terrified of a mere Elder from the Alchemy Master Guild.
As for Jiang Chen himself, forget an Elder of the Alchemy Master Guild; he wouldn’t necessarily show respect even to its President.
After all, as a former President, Jiang Chen had been with the Alchemy Master Union for so many years that the surviving high-ranking members were all his juniors.
Some were even his disciples, or the disciples of his disciples.
He truly didn’t think much of the president of some small, local branch.
"This is Elder Xiao Gu. Greet him, quickly."
Jiang Han dragged Jiang Chen into the main reception hall of the Jiang Family estate before finally letting go.
A number of Jiang Clan Members had already gathered in the main hall, each one cautiously waiting on Xiao Gu.
Xiao Gu sat there arrogantly with one leg crossed over the other, looking rather impatient.
He glanced over as Jiang Han arrived with Jiang Chen.
He shot them a sidelong glance.
"So you’re this Jiang Chen?"
He nearly added the word "trash" before his name.
Jiang Men, who apparently found Xiao Gu difficult to serve, breathed a huge sigh of relief when Jiang Han arrived.
He quickly passed the responsibility to Jiang Han.
Pointing to Jiang Chen, Jiang Han said respectfully to Xiao Gu, "Elder Xiao Gu, yes, this is my son."
But Xiao Gu snapped at Jiang Han, "Shut up. I didn’t give you permission to speak. I wasn’t asking you."
"I’m asking your son. He has a mouth; he can speak for himself."
He rebuked Jiang Han abruptly, putting on an air of superiority.
Jiang Han’s expression changed, and he immediately fell silent, not daring to speak. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖
Jiang Chen had been observing this Xiao Gu from the moment he walked in.
The man looked to be middle-aged, yet he was the very picture of arrogance.
He was acting like he owned the place.
His brows furrowed slightly, his face already clouded with displeasure.
And now, he had actually dared to scold his father.
He was instantly enraged.
He glared at Xiao Gu, pointed a finger at him, and said coldly, "Who the hell do you think you are? How dare you speak to my father like that?"
"You. Get the hell out of my family’s home. Now."
"The nerve."
Such was Jiang Chen’s temper. He was already seeing red.
He couldn’t care less about some Elder from the Alchemy Master Guild.
Without the slightest hesitation, he pointed at Xiao Gu and roared.
His shout plunged the entire Jiang Family reception hall into a deathly silence.
Everyone in the Jiang Family was stunned.
They all stared at Jiang Chen in disbelief.
This was an Elder from the Alchemy Master Guild, a man of high status and great power—not someone the Jiang Family could ever afford to provoke.
Anyone else would have been trembling with fear in his presence. But now? Jiang Chen had just straight-up cussed him out.
They were all too shocked by the tirade to even react.
’It’s over. We’re completely done for.’
’That bastard Jiang Chen has caused trouble again.’
’Heavens, why does Jiang Chen always have to stir up trouble? Now he’s provoked Elder Xiao Gu.’
The Jiang Clan Members were on the verge of tears.
Anyone else would have been bad enough, but Jiang Chen was pointing his finger at Elder Xiao Gu and unleashing a torrent of curses.
He was even trying to kick the man out of their home.
It was enough to make them despair.
As the Patriarch, Jiang Han knew better than anyone just how formidable their guest was.
He himself had been trembling before Xiao Gu, acting with the utmost respect, terrified of making even the slightest mistake.
And now look. He had spent the entire way here lecturing his son on the need to treat Elder Xiao Gu with respect.
But it had been utterly useless.
’This prodigal son of his probably didn’t hear a single word.’
He felt like dying.
His face instantly turned deathly pale as he looked toward Xiao Gu.
Sure enough, Xiao Gu’s face was livid.
It was the ghastly color of a pig’s liver, enough to make one gasp.
’This unfilial son... He’s caused a catastrophe this time.’
Cold sweat poured down his forehead.
"Excellent. Just excellent."
Xiao Gu’s face was livid. The Jiang Family had been treating him like a god, and now some brat had just cursed him out.
Calling him out and asking who the hell he thought he was.
His expression darkened, and he glared at Jiang Chen with eyes full of murderous intent.
"You dare to curse at me, boy?"
His face twisted into a savage expression.
He was a dignified Elder of the Alchemy Master Guild. He had always been treated with the utmost respect; no one had ever dared to cross him.
Yet here he was, being thoroughly humiliated and cursed out by some ignorant punk.
It was intolerable. Simply intolerable.
One can only imagine his fury.
Jiang Chen’s face was just as cold.
He said coldly, "Curse you? You should be honored I’m even talking to you."
"I’ll say it a second time. Get out. Get out right now."
Jiang Chen gestured again toward the main gate, showing Xiao Gu where to go.
His expression clearly said, *I’m telling you to get lost.*
This scene made Xiao Gu so angry he was about to go berserk.
He trembled from head to toe.
Seeing this, Jiang Han’s heart trembled.
His son had infuriated Xiao Gu, and now he was continuing to provoke him.
’What am I going to do?’
He rushed forward and pleaded with Xiao Gu, "Elder Xiao Gu, please calm your anger! My son is ignorant and doesn’t know any better! Please, calm down!"
To Xiao Gu’s ears, however, these words sounded like pure sarcasm.
He shot Jiang Han a vicious glare.
"Get out of my way!" he snarled. "Who asked you to butt in?"
"Today, I don’t give a damn about any of you. I’m going to crush this bastard with my own two hands."
