Seeing Ximen Gong and Master Chen leave, Jiang Chen let out a cold laugh.

Then, without a moment’s hesitation, he hurried down the mountain.

He returned to the Jiang Family.

To their astonishment, the Golden Healing Pill was indeed incredibly miraculous.

About two hours later, the fractures in Ximen Jianren’s limbs had almost completely recovered.

The only oddity was that Ximen Jianren’s skin had taken on a strange red hue.

"Huh? What’s going on? Why has my son’s skin turned red?"

Ximen Gong was puzzled.

He looked at Master Chen.

"Master Chen, what’s the reason for this? Could the Golden Healing Pill have this kind of side effect?"

He tried to steady his son, but his son continued to scream incessantly as the redness completely erupted, emitting a red glow.

Amidst the red glow, wisps of black energy could be seen constantly flowing over Ximen Jianren’s body and face.

Ximen Jianren’s face twisted in agony.

He fell to the floor, convulsing uncontrollably.

White foam frothed from his mouth.

"Quick, Master Chen, save my son! Quickly!"

He was on the verge of collapse. Everything had been going so well, but now this sudden catastrophe had struck.
