"I can agree to anything you ask, except for marrying Amelia Avery. That, I can’t do." ’Even though we slept together, in my heart, Amelia is still just my sister.’

"Cassian Jennings, I dare you to say that one more time!"

"I cannot marry Amelia Avery."

Aiden Avery shot up from the sofa and grabbed Cassian Jennings by the collar. His eyes were bloodshot as he snarled, "Cassian Jennings, you bastard. You plan on just zipping up and walking away, is that it?"

"I’m not trying to get out of it. I’ll transfer all thirty percent of my shares in the Jennings Group to Amelia."

He had barely finished speaking when Aiden Avery’s fist slammed into his face. "You son of a bitch! Do you think the Avery Family needs your damn money?!"

"I know this money isn’t enough to make up for what I did, but I can’t promise anything else." ’Of course he knew the Avery Family didn’t need money. But besides money, what else could he give them? Marry Amelia? No, that’s something I absolutely can’t do.’

"You son of a bitch, I’ll kill you!" Aiden Avery shoved Cassian Jennings away and viciously kicked him.

The kick sent Cassian Jennings flying more than a meter.

No matter how calm Ian Shaw was or how much he wanted to stay out of it, he couldn’t just watch anymore. He hurried over to block Aiden Avery. "That’s enough! Stop fighting!"

"Ian Shaw, you’re taking his side too? You’re going against me now?!" Aiden Avery immediately turned on Ian Shaw.

Ian Shaw was in a rush to get to his company; he had no time to watch these two fight. He let go of Aiden Avery, rolled up his sleeves, and said with a cold smirk, "You want to fight? Is that it? Fine! I’ll fight you. But after today, you damn well better not bother Cassian Jennings again."

BANG! The door was kicked open from the outside.

It was none other than the missing Amelia Avery.

She was completely drunk, her eyes a mix of hazy confusion and viciousness. "Who wants to fight? I’ll take you all on!" With that, she smashed the bottle in her hand onto the floor.

The moment he saw Amelia Avery, Cassian Jennings’s heart leaped into his throat.

But in the next second, he saw a figure dash to the doorway, catching the staggering Amelia Avery in an embrace.

"Where have you been? Do you have any idea how worried I was!" Leo Joyce’s voice trembled violently as he spoke.

Amelia Avery looked up at Leo Joyce and let out a cold, mocking laugh. "Leo Joyce, they wanted a fight, didn’t they? Let’s play with them."

Hearing Amelia’s words, Leo Joyce’s heart ached, and he pulled her even tighter. "Alright. We’ll play with them." As he spoke, his eyes turned vicious.

’If Amelia Avery gave the word, he’d make sure everyone in this room was carried out.’

"Amelia, you like Cassian Jennings, so your big brother will help you. Whether he agrees to it or not, he *will* marry you." Seeing Amelia had returned, Aiden Avery’s tone softened.

’As long as she didn’t disappear again, he would give her anything she wanted.’

Amelia Avery smiled and eased herself out of Leo Joyce’s arms. She lifted her eyes and said coldly, "Brother, let him go. I was a willing participant in what happened. It has nothing to do with him."

"But you’ve been so terribly wronged! Are we supposed to just let this go?"

"He doesn’t want to marry me, and I don’t want to marry him. From this day forward, Cassian Jennings and I are nothing to each other. If anyone brings this up again, they’ll have me, Amelia Avery, to answer to!"

Amelia Avery’s vicious words sent a violent shudder through Cassian Jennings.

’Ever since that night, he knew it would come to this between him and Amelia. He just never expected it to happen so soon.’

"Amelia Avery is my woman. She doesn’t need anyone else to take responsibility for her. I, Leo Joyce, will marry her." Leo Joyce announced this without the slightest hesitation. Then, he bent down, swept Amelia Avery into his arms, and walked out of the suite.
