Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 365: A Love With No Place to Go (65)
Tristan Grayson had clearly spotted Mika as well, and he hurried over too.
Ian Shaw had only taken two steps when two figures dashed past him, one after the other. His brow furrowed in confusion.
Silas Kent ran to Mika’s side and grabbed her by the shoulders. He looked her up and down, and after making sure she wasn’t hurt, he asked in a low, cold voice, "What happened?"
"Silas, I never won when we used to spar. This time, you should be proud of me," Mika said with a smile, gently removing his hands.
Hearing Mika’s words, Silas’s heart leaped into his throat. "You got into a fight?"
"Yeah."
"Why didn’t you call me if you were going to fight? You’re not hurt, are you?" Silas was practically worried sick.
"How could I get hurt? The people inside, though... they’re probably hurt pretty badly." Mika shook her head. When she glanced at Eleanor Bishop, she couldn’t hide the smile playing on her lips.
Eleanor Bishop’s heart trembled. She peeked cautiously inside and grew even more worried. ’How did Mika get so terrifying...?’ 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
"As long as you’re not hurt... Were you trying to scare me to death? Next time something like this happens, you call me first thing." ’I should have brought bodyguards.’
Listening to Mika and Silas’s conversation, Tristan Grayson stopped in his tracks. His hands clenched into tight fists, his eyes fixed on Mika.
’She actually got into a fight?’
Just then, Rowan Ross emerged, helping a middle-aged man in his forties. Two other men followed behind them.
When Aria Joyce saw the blood on the middle-aged man’s face, she rushed over. "Second Uncle, are you all right?"
"Do I look like I’m all right? Your Second Uncle here was almost beaten to death," the man said angrily, looking at Aria Joyce.
Aria Joyce stopped, her brow furrowed. "What happened?" she asked in a cold voice.
"Aria, you have to get justice for your uncle! I’m an old man, and I was nearly beaten to death by that crazy woman just now." As he spoke, the man pointed a finger at Mika, his eyes filled with undisguised hatred.
"Second Uncle, calm down and tell me what happened. No one gets to bully a member of the Joyce Family," Aria Joyce said, glaring angrily at Mika.
’Last time, Tristan Grayson yelled at me for no reason because of this woman. This time, I’ll settle the score for both occasions!’
Silas Kent turned, wrapping an arm around Mika’s waist. "Miss Joyce," he said coldly, "it seems we’ve reached an agreement. No one gets to bully a member of the Kent Family, either."
’The Kent Family?’ Aria Joyce’s expression faltered for a moment. Then she recalled that there were no prominent families named Kent in Tridell. A cold, mocking smile touched her lips. "Is that so? A pity for you, this is a Joyce Family hotel. You’re on our turf, you bullied our people, and now none of you are going anywhere."
"If none of them can leave, then, Aria Joyce, does that mean I can’t leave either?" Tristan Grayson said coldly, striding over while suppressing a storm of emotions.
"Tristan Grayson, this doesn’t concern you!" ’Is he really going to provoke me again for this woman?’
Tristan Grayson walked to Mika’s side, pulled the dazed girl from Silas’s embrace, and said sharply, "How does it not concern me? She’s my woman."
"..." Aria Joyce was so furious she clenched her fists and turned to leave. ’The last thing I ever want is to be Tristan Grayson’s enemy.’ So, once again, she had no choice but to swallow her anger.
However, when Second Master Joyce saw that Aria was about to leave, he coughed a few times and said resentfully, "Aria, are you just going to stand there and do nothing after your uncle was beaten?"
