Divorce, Please: The Young Master Does Not Love Me
Chapter 376: A Love with Nowhere to Go (76)
Hearing Archie Lockwood’s words, a glimmer of hope sparked in Yara Ross’s eyes. She asked urgently, "Mr. Kent, what do you mean by that?"
"You don’t need to concern yourself with what I mean, Mrs. Bishop. Go back and tell Miss Bishop that I’ll be waiting for her at the Vance Hotel at nine o’clock tonight."
"A hotel?" Yara Ross’s expression turned grim.
’Could it be that this Mr. Kent isn’t actually dating Eleanor?’
Archie Lockwood raised his hand and glanced at the time on his watch. "Mrs. Bishop, is there anything else you’d like to say?"
"Alright. I’ll tell Eleanor to go to the hotel and wait for you. It’s just... Mr. Kent, the money..." After much hesitation, Yara Ross finally agreed. As long as it could help them pay off their debts, pushing Eleanor out there once didn’t seem like such a great loss.
Archie Lockwood sneered and glanced at Louise Jordan, signaling for her to take out a check.
Louise Jordan nodded slightly, pulled a check from her briefcase, and handed it to Yara Ross.
Yara Ross was about to thank him gratefully, but when she saw the amount on it, the smile on her face froze. "Mr. Kent, this... why is it so little?"
"This two million is a deposit. The rest of the money will depend on Miss Bishop’s own efforts."
Yara Ross’s hand, holding the check, trembled with anger. ’The CEO of a major corporation, and this is all he gives?’
Archie Lockwood had no interest in seeing Yara Ross’s reaction. He gave a cold smile, looked at Howard Rhodes and Louise Jordan, and said sharply, "Let’s go."
"Yes."
The moment Archie Lockwood walked through the company doors, he began issuing cold commands. "Howard, look into the Bishop Family’s current situation for me. Immediately."
’So they’ve actually stooped to selling their daughter. Fine. Just fine...’
’It seems Eleanor Bishop has been living quite a colorful life for the past two years or so...’
"Yes."

Originally, Silas Kent and Mika Summers had planned to take Kiki out to play today, but because Silas Kent had a last-minute meeting with Archie Lockwood, it ended up being just Mika and Kiki.
Mika Summers took Kiki to eat first, and then they went to an amusement park.
When they first arrived, Kiki was still pouting. He wouldn’t answer when she asked him what he wanted to play.
After a while, Kiki started to smile and even took the initiative, tightly grabbing Mika Summers’s hand to find new things to play.
As it neared noon, Mika Summers took Kiki and left the amusement park.
Mika Summers carried a bag full of toys in one hand, while Kiki held a SpongeBob inflatable ball.
Once they reached the car, Mika Summers put the bag of toys on the back seat. Then, she opened the passenger-side door, lifted Kiki into his seat, and leaned over to fasten his seatbelt.
Kiki looked at Mika Summers, his eyes a little red. "I want to find Daddy."
Mika Summers was just about to straighten up when she heard Kiki’s words. She hid the disappointment in her eyes and looked up with a smile. "Kiki, isn’t it fun playing with Mommy?"
"But I want Daddy."
Mika Summers did her best to be patient and asked in a gentle voice, "How about Mommy takes you home to see Daddy tonight, okay?"
"But I want to find Daddy now," Kiki whined, shaking his head.
"Alright, then. I’ll take you to find him."
「LK Group, President’s Office.」
Tristan Grayson leaned back in his seat, listening to Ian Shaw and Henry Archer, his brow tightly furrowed.
Ian Shaw handed the documents in his hand to Henry Archer and motioned for him to leave first.
After Henry Archer left, Ian Shaw sat on a nearby sofa. In a low voice, he said, "Tristan, I’ve already arranged to meet with Cassian Jennings and Aiden Avery. Tonight. Vespera. The usual spot." ’They were brothers who’d grown up together; things didn’t need to get this ugly.’
