I was sliding toward Darkness Azul. Ice formed beneath my feet, allowing me to glide forward without much effort.

Darkness Azul noticed the incoming threat. He produced multiple floating daggers made from darkness.

"Daggers of Abyss!"

Each dagger twisted vigorously before flying straight toward me.

But I had no intention of stopping. The daggers, upon reaching exactly one meter from me, instantly froze and stopped their trajectory. They shattered into pieces as I glided past them.

I cast twenty Shards, which came from the large crystal behind me, all at the same time. Then, each pair merged together, forming ten large Shards, each bigger than Bob. The shards hovered beside me as I closed the distance toward Darkness Azul.

"Go!"

Zoooom!

The shards shot out at supersonic speed. Darkness Azul was surprised by their velocity despite their massive size. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

BOOMMM!

BOOMMM!

Darkness Azul managed to evade two of the shards by jumping and twisting in the air. However, I had already anticipated his jump.

Zoom!

Another three shards were released at the same time.

"Tch!" Darkness Azul clicked his tongue. He was being pushed back, trying his best to evade all the shards. Unfortunately, one of the shards managed to hit his leg as he landed on the ground. It immediately froze his foot to the floor.

"Bastard!" he cursed as he tried to break free from the ice.

He looked at me, and another five shards were right in front of his face, ready to impale him to smithereens.

"Rrraaar!!!"

But he would not fall without a fight. A burst of dark energy exploded outward from his body, smashing the incoming shards into thousands of pieces.

The room was filled with icy dust.

I stopped my glide. My gleaming icy eyes searched for his whereabouts.

Rumble!

Behind me!

Darkness Azul emerged from the flying dust behind me and lunged straight at me. He thrust his hand forward as it transformed into a long spear. As it came close to me, the spear froze with ice, but its movement did not stop.

Shreek!

"Urghh!"

The spear grazed my left arm, and blood splashed onto the icy ground below. I immediately grabbed the spear with my right hand and pulled it toward me, along with Darkness Azul. Ice spread and froze his left arm.

I swung my right leg horizontally, aiming to kick his abdomen, but he blocked it by raising his left leg. Upon contact, it froze his leg as well. Darkness Azul grabbed my fur collar and threw me away, sending me spiraling through the air.

Darkness Azul smashed the frozen parts of his left hand and left leg, regenerating new ones with the help of dark mist. He jumped upward to reach me in the air.

I clenched my teeth. I covered my wounded left arm with ice to stop the bleeding. I was spiraling in the air before I stabilized myself, landed on the wall, and stepped on it to meet Darkness Azul head-on.

I summoned my Indra in blade form, covering its blade with ice.

Tingh! Pangg!

Tingg! Pingg!

A fierce clash occurred in the air. My Indra against the shadow blade. Ice and darkness alternately radiated throughout the entire hall.

On the ground, Linus was attending to Bob and carried him to the side, while Reymond held his sister in his arms.

Bob sat on the ground with his back against the wall. He looked at Reika, and call Mina.

"Mina-chan, please heal the princess..."

However, Mina protested, as Bob himself was heavily injured as well.

"Mina-chan. Listen to your master, please..."

Mina pouted, but she still did as she was told. She flew over and hovered above the princess, casting her skill and showering Reika in a green aura.

Bob then turned his head toward me in the air.

"Win this battle, Alan! You are also an ace, just like me. Don’t tarnish our reputation as aces!" Bob muttered.

Above them, the battle reached its limit. My body was filled with ice, covering most of my wounds. Meanwhile, Darkness Azul was the same. His mask was cracked, revealing his mouth, and his armor was broken, exposing his body beneath.

I raised my leg which covered in ice, while Darkness Azul raised his fist, shrouded in darkness.

THUMMP!

DUMM!

My leg slammed into Darkness Azul’s abdomen, while his fist met my face.

"Arrghh!"

Both of us growled as we were thrown to opposite sides, crashing onto the ground.

After a few seconds, Azul slowly stood up. Suddenly, a sharp pain surged through his head. Once again, a vivid image of an orange-colored woman appeared in his mind. Somehow, the face seemed familiar to him.

"Russ..." the image called out in his vague memory.

Azul shook his head. The shadow encapsulating him began to slowly disperse. He looked down at his hand.

"Of all times... why does that memory appear again..." he muttered to himself. "Looks like I don’t have much time. I need to finish this fast."

He looked forward and saw me already standing.

I was facing the same issue. My Hero Grace was reaching its limit, with approximately one minute remaining.

"I will finish this, now!"

[Equipped Class: Veil Mage]

[Veil Mage (Hero Grace Form) Activated!]

I activated the class from Lunar. My body was covered in a purple robe, elongated down my back to the ground. The robe had long, pointed shoulders with black inner attire beneath. My pupils glowed bright purple, and my hair turned purple as well.

"Veil magic, Invisible!"

I vanished from everyone’s sight.

Azul became alert. Even with his darkness-enhanced eyes, he couldn’t sense my presence.

"First, time magic! And now, invisibility! Who are you actually?!" Azul shouted in irritation.

"I am just a G-rank adventurer."

Azul was shocked as I was already right in front of him.

DUUMM!!

I drove my fist upward, smashing into Azul’s chin. He was lifted several meters into the air. I then changed my class again.

[Equipped Class: Redwing Disciple]

[Redwing Disciple (Hero Grace Form) Activated!]

Wings emerged from my scapula, not the small ones from the armpits, but true wings. They were massive, comparable to a red condor’s, translucent red and condensed with mana. My entire body was covered in red robes, my pupils sharpened and turned red, and my hair spiked into a deep crimson.

With a single flap, I shot upward. The gust shattered all the ice on the ground and blew apart the windows, glass, and chandeliers.

"Windpiercer Routine!"

I met Azul in the air and unleashed dozens of chained strikes as we kept rising higher into the sky.

Swoosh!

"Arghh! Argggh!" Azul screamed in pain.

Each slash from my Indra released a red aura, enhanced by the Redwing Disciple Hero Grace form.

As we reached the peak, I flew above him and I changed to the last and most offensive class.

My form changed once again. My hair turned long and golden-yellow, and my robes shifted into a radiant gold. My eyes became majestic gold as well. A large circular orb floated above me.

Azul slowly opened his eyes. What he saw was a brilliant yellow light above him, and beneath that light, the silhouette of a man.

"My... lord..."

From the ground outside the mansion, all eyes, human and monster alike, were focused on the sky above. The bright yellow light illuminated the entire Daisy Town, dispersing the dark clouds. It was like a ray of hope descending upon all.

"My words..." Beltimore was stunned. His glasses were bathed in light.

Mirinda and Reid were in the same state. This was the first time they had seen something like this.

"Alan..." Maya muttered.

"Angel! That is an angel! An angel has descended to help us!" The soldiers cried out in excitement.

High above the sky, I raised my hands. From the orb above me, ten lances formed, each one covered in radiant light.

"All your plans will end now, Azul!"

"Starfire Lance!"

All the lance shot out at light speed. Each one struck Azul, vaporizing the shadows on his body with every hit.

"Aaaargh!" Azul’s final cry of despair echoed through the air as he was brutally assaulted.

Zuuus!

Zuuus!

Zuuus!

Zuuus!

I raised both my hands and released the final and largest lance, which was a result of combining 10 Starfire Lances.

"This is for everyone you have hurt!"

ZZZUUUUUMMM!!!

The last strike erased the remaining darkness within Azul, and he fell silent. His body plummeted like a meteor, crashing down outside the mansion in a massive explosion upon impact.

BBBOOOOMM!

My body began to weaken, and my vision blurred. The Hero Grace form ended, and I returned to normal.

Finally, gravity took hold, and I began to fall freely toward the ground.
