Dragon Blood Saint Emperor
Chapter 246 - 247: Ye Rou’s Peril
Everyone stared after Ye Wushuang with bizarre expressions on their faces.
A cultivator at the True Essence Sixth Layer, daring to hunt down the strongest disciple of the Spiritual Spring Realm. Anyone who didn’t know the full story would have their eyes pop out in disbelief.
After all, none of them had ever encountered such a thing before.
Yangg Qing’er gazed at the white-robed figure’s back. A feeling of bliss washed over her, knowing there was a man who cared for her so deeply.
’I wish I could stay by Brother Ye’s side forever,’ she thought. ’Even just following him quietly would be enough!’
’But...’
Glancing at Dii Qingxue beside her, she quickly buried the thought.
She was only Dii Qingxue’s handmaiden. Without Dii Qingxue’s permission, how could she dare?
"Senior Sister, will Brother Ye be alright?"
After a long moment, she couldn’t hold back any longer and asked Dii Qingxue with concern.
"His strength is no longer what it once was. He won’t die," Dii Qingxue said coolly, her gaze sweeping over Yangg Qing’er.
"You’ve lost your virginity?"
All of a sudden, Dii Qingxue’s brow furrowed, her tone turning cold.
The abrupt question struck Yangg Qing’er’s mind like a bolt of Celestial Thunder.
Her body trembled, and a look of panic crossed her face. She stammered, "N-No... No, Senior Sister, I..."
"Hmph!"
Dii Qingxue’s eyes grew frigid. "You carry his scent. Did you think I wouldn’t notice? You still want to lie to me?"
"Senior Sister!"
Yangg Qing’er’s face turned pale. She scrambled to her knees, crying out in panic, "Senior Sister, it’s all my fault! Please, kill me! It has nothing to do with Brother Ye."
"Nothing to do with him!"
Dii Qingxue was enraged. "Have you forgotten my warning? You could not lose your virginity! If you did, there would be no turning back!"
Dii Qingxue was furious!
This was an unprecedented level of fury!
At least, in Yangg Qing’er’s memory, Dii Qingxue had never flown into such a rage.
She also remembered Dii Qingxue’s warning: if she lost her virginity, there was only one path left for her—annihilation!
At this thought, Yangg Qing’er burst into tears. "SOB... Senior Sister, I... I love Brother Ye. I couldn’t control myself."
This left Pann Wu, standing to the side, utterly bewildered.
He instinctively glanced at his shoulder, only to find the Dragon Cat was gone.
It had slipped away into the Chaos Dragon Tomb the moment the disciples charged into the Divine Hall.
"Senior Sister, it’s all my fault. Kill me! I beg you, please don’t kill Brother Ye."
Yangg Qing’er pleaded, kowtowing again and again.
THUD!
THUD!
The sound of her forehead striking the ground was sharp and clear. In an instant, blood seeped from the wound, trickling down her delicate nose in a tragic display.
Even Dii Qingxue was taken aback by this act.
For Ye Wushuang’s sake, Yangg Qing’er was not even afraid of death. She was utterly resolute. This was no longer the weak, gentle girl she once was.
’That bastard!’
Dii Qingxue cursed him inwardly. She had only wanted Yangg Qing’er to follow Ye Wushuang and temper herself. Who would have thought that in sending her away, she had sent her heart away too?
Dii Qingxue did not let Yangg Qing’er continue. She reached out and helped her to her feet.
Seeing the blood flowing endlessly from her forehead, she summoned a milky-white ball of light. It enveloped Yangg Qing’er’s body for several breaths before seeping into her.
The mystical ball of light possessed a miraculous power. Not only did it restore Yangg Qing’er’s face, leaving no trace of blood or scars, but it also completely healed all the other injuries on her body.
This took Yangg Qing’er by surprise. She looked up at Dii Qingxue.
"I won’t stop you from loving whomever you choose," Dii Qingxue said. "But the prerequisite is that you must live."
Dii Qingxue stated cryptically.
She had no intention of killing Yangg Qing’er. Her rage stemmed from the fact that once Yangg Qing’er’s virginity was lost, she would only have three years to live.
After three years, she would be annihilated, vanishing from the face of the earth.
She did not explain any of this to Yangg Qing’er. With a glance at Pann Wu, she took Yangg Qing’er by the hand and stepped into the void, vanishing.
Pann Wu followed behind them.
Meanwhile, Ye Wushuang was completely unaware of what had transpired in front of the Divine Hall.
He now stood on a vast grassland.
Chi Tian had already fled into the distance.
Ye Wushuang prepared to give chase, but then he spotted a flickering silhouette to his right.
They were so far away that even when Ye Wushuang probed with his Divine Sense, he could only make out a blurry shape.
However, this silhouette felt familiar.
’Familiar? Who could it be?’
Puzzled, Ye Wushuang glanced in the direction where Chi Tian had vanished, contemplated for a moment, and then ran toward the silhouette. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
The figure seemed to sense his approach and began to retreat.
Ye Wushuang broke into a run, extending his powerful Divine Sense.
The person likely never imagined that Ye Wushuang’s Divine Sense was far stronger than an ordinary person’s.
Their movement speed was incredibly slow!
Thus, in just a few moments, Ye Wushuang was able to see their face clearly.
The person was...?
Qiu Mo!
A smile touched Ye Wushuang’s lips as he recognized the figure, but it vanished as quickly as it appeared when he saw the man’s staggering gait.
’Qiu Mo is injured?’
He quickened his pace, his voice, infused with True Essence, piercing the void and spreading far and wide.
This was the only way for the distant Qiu Mo to hear him.
Sure enough, the figure stopped and then rushed toward Ye Wushuang, moving much faster than he had been when fleeing.
"Wushuang!"
Qiu Mo’s voice reached Ye Wushuang’s ears.
As he drew closer, he saw that Qiu Mo was a complete mess—hair disheveled, constantly coughing up blood.
Ye Wushuang frowned. He strode forward and scanned his friend. Qiu Mo wasn’t just a mess; he was covered in blood and gravely injured. In several places, his flesh was mangled, looking as if it had been gnawed on by some beast.
"What happened?"
Ye Wushuang stepped forward, handing Qiu Mo a Healing Treasure Pill.
Qiu Mo said frantically, "Wushuang, Ye Rou and Qianling are in danger! You have to go save them!"
COUGH! COUGH!
Perhaps from his frantic state, he immediately coughed up a mouthful of blood.
Ye Wushuang’s expression darkened. "What exactly happened?"
"It’s Liuu Yifei! He’s been looking for you this entire time!"
Qiu Mo explained frantically.
It turned out that since Ye Wushuang hadn’t appeared, Liuu Yifei had begun targeting the disciples of the Ancient Spirit Sect to vent his hatred, slaughtering them mercilessly.
Qiu Mo and several other disciples from the Ancient Spirit Sect had run into him on their way to the Divine Communication Tower.
In the ensuing battle, the other disciples were killed, and Qiu Mo was grievously wounded.
Furthermore, Liuu Yifei had somehow learned of the relationship between Ye Rou and Ye Wushuang. He was now searching everywhere for Ye Rou, preparing to move against her.
"Liuu Yifei!" A cold glint flashed in Ye Wushuang’s eyes. ’My sister had better be safe, or I’ll tear you to shreds.’ He knew that Liuu Yifei was targeting Ye Rou to make him suffer a fate worse than death.
Ye Wushuang asked Qiu Mo, "Do you know where my sister is now?"
Qiu Mo replied, "She’s with Qianling, heading toward the Divine Communication Tower. If you go in that direction, you should be able to find them."
"The Divine Communication Tower!" Ye Wushuang murmured, turning his gaze to Qiu Mo.
Seeing his look, Qiu Mo knew what he was thinking. Ye Wushuang was worried about his injuries. He immediately said, "Don’t worry about me, I can hold on. Let’s not waste any more time. I’ll lead the way."
"Alright!"
Ye Wushuang strode after Qiu Mo, his heart filled with anxiety and worry. Liuu Yifei had returned from the dead with his strength greatly enhanced; Ye Rou and the others were no match for him. If they met, the consequences would be unimaginable.
’Liuu Yifei, my sister had better be unharmed,’ he thought, ’or I’ll make sure you can’t even come back as a ghost!’
