The lotus fell slowly and while falling it began absorbing qi from the surroundings. It was slow at first but soon the amount of qi it was absorbing began increasing...so much that it was easily visible to the naked eye.

When it reached the mist, it didn’t stop and began absorbing the mist like spirit qi too..

As it kept absorbing, its size began increasing, before the lotus was just the size of a palm but now it was three times bigger and it was still expanding.

Xuan Xue looked at the swirling mist around the lotus and frowned, no matter how much it was getting absorbed, there was no sign of it getting depleted.

She shook her head internally, it seems that this won’t be easy to dispel.
