Curving his lips, Elyon closed the distance and whispered, "Do you like what you are seeing?" 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

"W-What... no..noo." Flustered, Marty replied, closing his eyes, " Can you please cover it?"

"Haha!" Elyon laughed as he lifted a robe with telekinesis and pulled it toward himself. Draping it over his body, he stepped out of the room and headed elsewhere.

Moving behind him, Marty looked at his surroundings and asked, "You never told me you have a brothel."

"Uhh! You never asked."

A simple reply came from ahead.

"Well, that’s true..."

Turning his head around, Elyon winked and opened his mouth, "Why though... do you want some discount. I can hook you with some beauty?"

"No.. No, nothing like that..."

Seeing the outrageous reply, Marty gave up asking anything else. Maintaining his silence, he followed him to what appeared to be a store room.

’It’s pleasant...’ Impressed by the smell, he looked around to find that the room was full of liquor bottles, incenses herbs.

’What are these used for... punishing the thieves?’ He was surprised to find a few torturing device in the mix.

"Got quite a collection here..." Marty muttered, impressed by the item lying there.

"Well its needed to maintain the top position here." Saying Elyon moved toward the safe and fiddled with it.

’Opening in front of him... does he trust me this much or is he really this confident in his ability to protect the safe if I were to attack?’ Marty thought of the possibilities but didn’t know which one it was.

"Here they are..." Closing the safe, Elyon presented five of his best artifacts.

’At least tier 2...’ Marty determined their tiers from the aura they were emitting.

Looking at the transparent mask, he asked, "Can you explain them?"

"Sure, this one is of tier 3 rank..."

Hearing its tier, Marty interrupted him without even listening to its enchantment, "A tier 3?"

Shaking his head, he added, "No, I ain’t got that much money."

Nodding his head, Elyon added, "I know. Well, this is only of common rank and has a single ability, so the price isn’t much. I’d say half of what a normal tier 3 goes for."

"Okay, let me hear about it then."

"The item was dropped after killing a mimic, and the only ability it has is to mimic the appearance of someone you touch... hmm! You can even create a new face, but it generally takes so much time to form one that one prefers the former options."

"How perfect is the mimic... do its copy the ability as well?"

"Absolute perfection, not even their wife can know, even if you bed her... as for the skill, unfortunately, no... It’s purely cosmetic."

"Hmm... this doesn’t seem like a bad skill, but what use does it have in the dungeon?" Marty asked.

"Well... you could give the mask to one of the strongest hunters. They could mimic a monster and get close to the guardian. Since the guardians are of Tier 1 or Tier 2 intellectual to be wary."

Saying, Elyon pointed to his neck, then slowly dragged a finger across it in a silent threat.

’Hmm! Could be good.’ Thinking Marty nodded his head and asked, "How much?"

Curving his lips, Elyon muttered, "For you it’s a million nex."

’Why is he giving me a discount?’ Perplexed Marty didn’t think much of it and agreed.

After that, Marty learned about all the artifacts, but only two of them caught his interest. Along with the mask, he bought a glove and a bow, both Tier 2 and rare rank.

Once that was done, Elyon introduced him to the captain of the mercenary group, but the two failed to reach an agreement.

"Sorry for the Minty, man. She is a nitpick type when it comes to choosing her employer... but it was nice doing business with you..." Elyon muttered, giving his hand out.

"Likewise..." Marty shook his hand, and the two talked for a few more minutes before he left Heaven’s Quarter.

’Should I?’ Something burned inside him as he looked at the beauties all around, but somehow he controlled himself.

Covering his face with the clock, he moved out of the red light area and waited for a tram to the university.

Meanwhile, in Heaven’s Quarter, Elyon went once again back to the room and called the ladies.

The sclera of his eyes turned pitch black as his lips curled up to form a smirk.

Shoving his face in the lady blossom, he thought, ’I hope you pass this as well...’

Hunter Academy inside the director’s quarters.

"I told you this was a bad idea from the start, but none of you listened to my words... and now.. Now.. All of them are dead. Do you know the implications of this?..."

Taking a breath, he pointed his finger toward Marty and muttered, "They weren’t some nobodies, but the top of their class. The scribes will be on my neck, and I will send to you."

"And let’s not forget about their family... when they come, all hell will break loose..." Looking at the two, the director couldn’t control his anger.

"Calm down, Pipppo. Just calm down." Marty muttered while trying to calm himself as well.

"How can I calm down when my entire career is at risk here? Do you know how much i’ve done to get here. How many i’ve sacrificed..."

The director said this while thinking more about his career than the deaths of his top ten students. And why wouldn’t he? To him, they were all disposable... tools meant to serve a purpose.

And work doesn’t stop because of a broken tool. It simply gets replaced.

"Let’s forge some document proving that all of them had gone inside a dungeon and were killed there, I mean, it’s not going to be that hard..." Lucas suggested hearing their conversation.

Messaging his face, the director looked at the duo and muttered, "I want my share increase. I will have to feed many mouths for this to pass."

Sighing, Marty agreed without hesitation. After seeing all the trouble the dungeon had brought, he no longer cared about any extra reward.

He just wanted it closed and to get into the bishop’s good books. Only then could he enjoy the future he had anticipated.

Seeing him agree, the director calmed for a moment and asked, "I still can’t understand how they can die in a common rank dungeon."

Turning back to the Templar, he lifted his eyebrows, "Are you sure it was of common rank?"

Hearing his words, Marty blurted out, "Of course... I’m sure."

As he spoke, he remembered the bishop’s words when he had been ordered to take on the task.

/ It is of a high rank... and there is a strong chance it has a demonic nature monster in it, make sure to go with a priest. /

/ It is of a common rank... There is no risk in the dungeon. Just be careful inside. /

Remembering the bishop’s words, Marty looked at the director and nodded his head, "I swear on the Light... it is of common rank."

"Tsk! Then let’s find some mercenaries..." The director muttered as the three of them began discussing which mercenary group to hire.
