E-class is the Weakest? My Clones are All God-level!
Chapter 232: Paper Talk
Ms. Polina seemed to have anticipated Kalen’s reaction.
She merely chuckled and then ignored him.
She sat back down on the lounge chair.
Her beautiful azure eyes once again fell upon Gandalf.
“Alright, enough with the jokes.”
Polina shed the flirtatious expression on her face.
Her demeanor became serious.
“Next, we should discuss proper business.”
Kalen also put away his infatuated expression, his face becoming ~Nоvеl𝕚ght~ solemn.
He walked over and sat in the empty seat next to Gandalf.
Polina picked up her wine glass, gently swirling the crimson liquid inside.
“Regarding the ownership of the Divine Artifact once we acquire it, that’s a matter for the high-ranking military officials of our respective countries to worry about.”
“What we need to discuss now is how to safely bring that pendulum of life out of the Legacy Site.”
Her gaze swept over the two men, her voice becoming steady.
“We can temporarily ignore the other smaller countries that want to join the fun.”
“This time, we only have three to deal with.”
“The Free Federation, the Sakura Country, and the Kimchi Country.”
As she finished speaking, she clapped her hands softly behind her.
Soon, a waiter approached, carrying a tray.
On the tray were three thick folders, each enclosed in a kraft paper bag.
The waiter handed the folders to Gandalf and Kalen respectively.
Polina looked at Gandalf, a meaningful smile appearing on her face.
“You Da Xia have an ancient saying that I quite like.”
“Know yourself and your enemy, and you will never be defeated.”
“What you have in your hands is all the core personnel information of these three countries who may participate in the Divine Artifact scramble this time.”
Zhou Huai, controlling Gandalf, opened the kraft paper bag.
Inside were clearly printed color photos and detailed text descriptions.
Polina’s voice slowly echoed in their ears.
“Of course, what we should pay most attention to are the S-Class Profession practitioners from those three countries.”
“First, the Free Federation.”
“The captain of their team this time is named Thor, nicknamed ‘God of Thunder’.”
“His Profession is the S-Class Profession, Thunder Dominator.”
“His current Rank is fifty-one.”
Zhou Huai’s gaze fell on the first page of the material.
In the photo, there was a burly, blonde-haired, blue-eyed white man.
He was bare-chested, his muscles as sharply defined as granite, exuding a sense of explosive power.
In his hand, he held an exaggeratedly large warhammer, its head wreathed in dazzling golden lightning.
The whole person looked like the God of Thunder stepping out of Norse mythology.
Polina continued.
“According to intelligence from our Great Bear Country, this Thor has absorbed at least one A-Rank quality Strange Thunder.”
“The warhammer in his hand is also a Level 50 legendary quality equipment.”
“Although the specific data is unknown, his strength is definitely among the top-tier of all S-Class Profession powerhouses participating in the Divine Artifact scramble this time.”
Kalen looked at the material, a hint of solemnity appearing on his handsome face.
“Thunder Dominator... just hearing the name, it feels like he’ll be hard to deal with.”
Polina nodded, gesturing for Gandalf to turn to the next page.
“Next, there’s this one from the Sakura Country.”
“Yingsi Lan.”
“Profession, S-Class unique hidden Profession, Asura Sword Ghost.”
“Rank forty-seven.”
The photo showed a man who looked very young.
He wore a black samurai outfit, his figure slender, his face beautifully eerie.
His long, silver-white hair was casually tied back with a red hair tie.
He held a long, narrow katana in his arms, its scabbard black and unadorned, appearing unremarkable.
But his narrow eyes were as sharp as a drawn blade, filled with cold killing intent.
“It is said that this fellow comes from an ancient Bushido Family in the Sakura Country that has been passed down for centuries.”
“He displayed extraordinary sword Dao talent from a young age and was hailed as a once-in-a-century sword Dao prodigy in the Sakura Country.”
“The sword in his hand is also a legendary weapon.”
“His Profession is most likely a warrior, or a type leaning towards an assassin, with extremely strong burst damage.”
Polina’s tone also carried a hint of caution.
“Finally, there’s that guy from the Kimchi Country.”
“Park In-maeng.”
“Profession, S-Class unique hidden Profession, Flame Emperor.”
“Rank forty-five.”
At this point, she suddenly looked up, her azure eyes curiously fixed on Gandalf.
“Just like you.”
“He’s also a Mage.”
The photo showed an ordinary-looking man.
Single eyelids, high cheekbones, a typical Kimchi Country appearance.
He wore a fiery red mage robe and held a staff embedded with a large red crystal.
His entire being exuded a wild and scorching aura.
“He specializes in fire magic and has also absorbed an A-Rank quality Strange Fire.”
“Although the Rank of his equipment is unknown, it is said that the Kimchi Country put a lot of effort into participating in this Legacy Site scramble.”
“He has at least two legendary quality pieces of equipment on him.”
After introducing these three, Polina picked up her wine glass and took a small sip.
She put down the glass, her confident and lazy smile returning to her face.
“Alright, now that we’ve talked about the enemies, let’s talk about the three of us.”
She extended her finger and pointed at herself.
“I, Polina.”
“Profession, S-Class unique hidden Profession, Desire Dominator.”
“Rank forty-seven.”
“I believe you two have already personally experienced my abilities.”
She winked her expressive eyes at Gandalf.
“Strictly speaking, I am not a purely combat-oriented Profession practitioner.”
“I lean more towards support, providing crowd control.”
She spread her hands, seemingly a little helpless.
“Although I probably can’t defeat any of them head-on, it shouldn’t be a problem to restrain one of them.”
Upon hearing this, Zhou Huai sneered inwardly.
This woman was acting again.
He didn’t believe that the Great Bear Country would simply send a support Profession practitioner to participate in this Divine Artifact scramble.
Kalen, beside him, clearly didn’t think as much as Zhou Huai.
He slapped the material onto the table, his face showing undisguised confidence.
“My Profession is the S-Class Profession, Pharaoh Guardian!”
“Rank fifty!”
He straightened his chest, his golden eyes burning with fierce Battle Intent.
“Once we enter the Legacy Site, I will deal with Thor from the Free Federation!”
“Beautiful Ms. Polina, you go and restrain that samurai from the Sakura Country.”
He glanced at Gandalf, arranging matter-of-factly.
“Finally, Mage Gandalf will engage in a magnificent magical showdown with the Kimchi Country’s Mage.”
He patted his chest, his voice booming.
“Once I deal with Thor, I’ll immediately come to support you all!”
However, Polina merely shook her head gently after hearing his arrangement.
“Prince Kalen.”
Her voice carried a hint of playfulness.
“It’s not that I look down on you.”
“Thor’s strength is extraordinary; you’re most likely not his match.”
Upon hearing this, Kalen’s confidence immediately faltered.
He was about to retort.
But Polina didn’t give him a chance to speak, continuing.
“How about this.”
“Leave him to me.”
She licked her sensual red lips, her azure eyes sparkling with excitement.
“I have a lot of experience dealing with men.”
“Coincidentally, that Thor also suits my taste.”
She glanced at Kalen, then at Gandalf, assigning tasks as a matter of course.
“Prince Kalen, you go deal with the samurai from the Sakura Country.”
“Once you’ve dealt with the samurai, help Gandalf with the Kimchi Country’s Mage.”
“Then finally come help me.”
“At that point, with the three of us working together, no matter how strong Thor is, he won’t be our opponent.”
Upon hearing this, Kalen stroked his chin, nodding thoughtfully.
“Hmm... this arrangement seems pretty good too.”
He glanced at Polina, and infatuation once again appeared in his golden eyes.
“Then it’s settled!”
“Beautiful Ms. Polina, please be careful.”
“Don’t let that crude fellow harm your delicate skin.”
Zhou Huai merely sat there quietly the entire time.
Flipping through the material in his hand, without saying a word.
He had no interest in such overly idealized armchair strategizing.
Within the Legacy Site, things change in an instant.
Any plan could be completely disrupted in the next second.
Moreover, in his opinion.
This beauty from the Great Bear Country was far from as simple as she made herself out to be.
Who knew if she was a pure support Profession practitioner?
Aside from the question of the pendulum of life’s ownership, this point alone was very problematic.
As she herself said.
The ultimate ownership of the pendulum of life indeed needed to be discussed by the high-ranking military officials of the three major countries.
But whoever could bring the pendulum of life out of the Legacy Site would have absolute initiative.
This was beyond doubt.
Combined with her previous probing actions.
Zhou Huai had no doubt that this woman had a very high possibility of betraying her allies at a critical moment.
He must be vigilant.
He closed the material in his hand and slowly stood up.
“Since you two have already discussed it.”
“Then I’ll take my leave first.”
He nodded calmly at the two of them.
“See you at the Legacy Site entrance tomorrow.”
With that, he turned and prepared to leave.
“Wait.”
Polina’s voice came from behind him.
Zhou Huai’s steps paused, and he turned around, a hint of inquiry in his eyes.
Polina looked at him, her azure eyes sparkling with curiosity.
“Mr. Gandalf.”
“You seem to have no interest in our plan?”
Zhou Huai’s face showed no expression.
“Plans always fall behind changes.”
He replied calmly.
“I prefer to adapt as I go.”
With that, he no longer lingered and walked down the stairs.
Watching the figure disappear at the stairwell, a hint of playfulness flashed in Polina’s eyes.
“Interesting.”
She picked up her wine glass and drained the remaining red wine.
“This man seems even harder to deal with than I imagined.”
Kalen, beside her, leaned over, a fawning smile on his face.
“Beautiful Ms. Polina.”
“Don’t mind that insensitive fellow.”
“Shall I massage your legs again?”
Polina glanced at him, a captivating curve forming on her lips.
“Alright.”
“But this time, let’s change the location.”
She extended her slender finger and gently, pointed to her shoulder.
“Here, it’s a bit sore.”
