Just like the previous three techniques he had learned, Jay’s consciousness was pulled into his talent. He was trapped in a time loop, reliving the process hundreds of thousands of times before finally grasping the technique and breaking free.

With this technique, Jay no longer faced the problem of being unable to obtain Origin Energy even without entering INVERSE Mode.

However, a new issue surfaced.

The extraction rate was painfully slow. One unit every ten minutes.

He tested it in multiple locations, but the rate never changed. No matter where he tried, the output remained the same.

At first, extracting Origin Energy demanded his full concentration. Any lapse would cause the process to fail. Over time, however, it became easier.

Eventually, it became second nature. As long as he devoted a small portion of his attention to it, the technique could remain active while he did other things.

Jay continued extracting Origin Energy even as he spoke with others and watched the Tournament unfold.

He had already spent 1,000 units of stored Origin Energy from his Origin Glaive, yet the cooldown had dropped by only 1%.

In other words, restoring access to both INVERSE Mode and OVERDRIVE would demand a full 100,000 units.

This time, Jay resolved to be careful. OVERDRIVE would only be used when absolutely necessary. The cooldown cost was simply too high.

At the current pace of Extraction, MJ estimated that it would take 174 Trial World days to accumulate enough Origin Energy. Of course, as his technique upgraded, the required time would decrease, but it would still be a long while before he could manage it.

Jay, however, relied on the time difference within the BLOODLINE REALM.

From what the System revealed, time flowed much slower inside Gated Hidden Realms. One day in the Trial World was equal to one standard year in the FRAME REALM.

If the Bloodline Realm followed the same rule, then he would have months to accumulate enough Origin Energy to cover the cooldown.

He wasn’t sure of the exact time difference and could only hope it was the same as the FRAME REALM.
