Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1159 - 1198: His Anger and Jealousy
Just as she opened the car door, before she had a chance to sit inside, her wrist was suddenly gripped tightly by another hand. The next moment, the car door was shut, and her back was pressed against the door.
The familiar scent enveloped her completely. He had trapped her between the car and himself.
When Mabel Quinn looked up, she saw, unsurprisingly, that familiar handsome yet stern face.
"Mr. Kinston, what are you doing!" she shouted.
Kyle Kinston merely gazed deeply at her, while his bodyguards diligently stood not far away, ensuring his safety, yet also shocked by Mr. Kinston’s actions and the possible relationship between this woman and him.
Just now, seeing that man and woman chatting, seemingly about to kiss, the formidable aura Mr. Kinston emitted was frightening, as if he had caught a cheating wife meeting a lover.
However, to their knowledge, Mr. Kinston wasn’t even married. If he were to get married, it should be to Miss Francine Howards of Falling City.
"If you can’t forget your deceased husband, then what does it mean with you and Atlas Shaw?" Kyle Kinston’s voice was so cold, and every word seemed to be squeezed out through his teeth.
Anyone could see he was angry, even furious.
Mabel was stunned. His question implied that he was nearby just now and saw her with Atlas? "What happens between Atlas and me is our business and has nothing to do with you!" she struggled to push him away to escape this awkward situation.
"Nothing to do with me?" His gaze almost pierced through her. She was his life, yet she kept insisting it had nothing to do with him. "Alexander Quinn, what did you say to me that night? You said the only man in your heart was your husband, and there would never be anyone else. But just now, you were so close with Atlas Shaw, so everything you said to me was a lie, just a stalling tactic?"
Mabel suddenly let out a cold laugh, staring straight back at him. "Do I need your permission to be with Atlas? Mr. Kinston, you may be a sought-after figure in Falling City, but you are nothing to me. Whoever I fall in love with, whoever makes my heart race, whoever I choose to spend my life with, that’s my business, not yours."
His face suddenly turned pale. "So you’re saying you love Atlas Shaw?"
"Even if I love Atlas, so what? My husband is dead, and he’s unmarried. Even if we are truly together, what’s wrong with that? Do I need the CEO’s consent?" she retorted.
Every word pierced his heart like a needle, causing him pain once more.
"Enough, stop talking!" he suddenly shouted, paradoxically smiling, a trace of a smile forming at the corner of his lips. However, his eyes grew colder. "Since you never intended to be solely devoted to your deceased husband for this lifetime, the only man you’ll love can be me. If you truly love Atlas Shaw, neither of you will get off lightly."
