Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1251 - 1290: Flying to Falling City
"Alessia is talking nonsense herself; who can she blame for being hit?" Edward said coldly, "Today was supposed to be a happy day, and she insisted on saying such ominous words. Does she not know her status? And you, Camille Grant, how did you enter the Quinn Family? Did you really think I wouldn’t know?"
Upon hearing this, Camille’s face turned ashen, and both Christopher Quinn and Alessia Quinn’s expressions became unpleasant.
In the end, although Christopher’s legitimate wife was having an affair, and the other party was at fault, part of it was due to the trap set by Camille and Alessia, who deliberately bribed a playboy to seduce her. Even though Christopher later learned everything, he turned a blind eye.
After all, among the two wives, he preferred Camille.
Originally, they thought this matter was known only to the three of them. Who would have thought Edward had known all along and just hadn’t spoken?
Edward then said to Christopher, "Take good care of your wife and daughter, lest they do even more outrageous things in the future. By then, even if they carry the Quinn Family name, it won’t save them."
Christopher naturally dared not say anything more, while Alessia was furious but couldn’t vent her anger. Was that slap she received just for nothing?
Mabel Quinn, as Edward’s daughter, had her status as the Quinn Family’s eldest daughter announced in the Quinn Group the next day. At the same time, Edward appointed Mabel as a special assistant in Quinn Film Industry to let her start familiarizing herself with the area she knew well.
Mabel told Edward that she still had work in G City and initially planned to return to G City after meeting him. But since discovering Edward was her biological father, Mabel naturally intended to move back to J City, though due to work in G City, she might have to shuttle between the two cities until she completes her current screenwriting job on a TV series before she can truly move back to J City.
Edward, of course, had no objections.
After spending several days in J City, Mabel returned to G City with her daughter. Edward originally planned to accompany Mabel to G City, but due to a problem with an order within the group, he couldn’t leave for the time being. Upon seeing his daughter alive, Edward felt suddenly reinvigorated with energy.
The Quinn Group had gradually declined during these years that he let go, filled with factional struggles within the group, becoming riddled with problems. He knew this but had no desire to manage or fix them. What he once regarded as a lifelong responsibility, he no longer wanted to bear.
But now things were different. He wanted to leave a complete Quinn Group for his daughter.
So Mabel returned to G City with her daughter. Only after boarding the plane and after it took off did she suddenly realize this flight was heading to Falling City, not G City.
Mabel suddenly recalled that before she boarded the plane, an airline staff mentioned an issue with her ticket and needed a change, guiding her to another flight with specific personnel.
But now, the plane was going to Falling City.
Falling City... That’s Kyle Kinston’s domain. Were the arrangements at the airport made by Kyle himself? She couldn’t help but suspect in her mind.
