Elder Kinston's Exclusive Sweet Wife
Chapter 1258 - 1297: Family Outing
In that instant, she was completely caught by him, their gazes locking, and for a split second, Mabel Quinn was at a total loss.
He just tilted his head up like that to look at her, as if a long time ago, he had also looked up at her this way.
The scenes from the past seemed to flicker before her eyes again. Mabel sharply yanked the curtain closed, keeping herself from facing those eyes any longer.
It felt like in this place, it was always easy to think of all sorts of people and things, even her heart would get a little messy.

The next day, the little one clamored to go out and play. She had heard from Uncle Kang about lots of fun places in Falling City, so she really wanted to go see for herself.
Mabel was just about to take her daughter out for a stroll when Kyle Kinston directly said, "I’ll go with you two."
"You? Don’t you have to go to the Corporation?" Mabel asked.
"Today’s a day off, no need to go," Kyle said.
Mabel counted the dates and realized it really was a rest day. Uncle Kang had already gotten the car ready. The three of them, as a family, got in.
The little one really wanted to go play at Ocean Park. She’d heard there were lots of fun rides there, and all kinds of big fish and little fish to see, so Kyle drove the car, taking Mabel and the little one to Ocean Park. Mabel glanced behind them and saw another car following; it had to be those Bodyguards in charge of Kyle’s safety.
The little one was unusually excited in the back seat, pressing herself against the car window, constantly taking in everything outside, then starting to count off on her fingers all the things she was going to do in Ocean Park.
Mabel took out her phone and looked up some guides for Ocean Park, and found that they pretty much matched everything the little one was saying. Clearly, when Uncle Kang introduced the place to her yesterday, he’d been quite thorough.
At the entrance to Ocean Park, Kyle bought three tickets, and the three of them went into the park together. Mabel glanced behind them but didn’t see any of the Bodyguards, so she asked a bit curiously, "Where are those Bodyguards who protect you?"
"If you could see them, they wouldn’t be fit to protect me," he said lightly.
"..." She was speechless, and simply focused all her attention on her daughter instead. Now that they were inside the park, the little one was like a wild horse that had slipped its reins, bouncing around everywhere. When Mabel tried to hold her daughter’s hand, the little one wasn’t happy about it, thinking it felt so not free.
At this moment, Mabel actually started to miss that safety leash. If she’d known, she would have brought it along—just clip it on her daughter and she wouldn’t have to worry about her bouncing around and vanishing without a trace.
There were quite a lot of parents with their kids in the park, and plenty of rides. But as Mabel walked, she started to notice many people’s gazes drifting toward Kyle, and they were whispering among themselves.
Until she heard a young couple talking, the woman saying, "Look, that guy looks so much like President Kyle. Could it actually really be Kyle Kinston?"
"What are you imagining? This guy’s got a wife and kid with him. When did you ever hear that President Kyle got married? Besides, if he really did get married and had kids and came to an amusement park, you think it would be this normal? He would’ve booked out the whole place already," the man replied.
The woman clearly agreed with the man’s reasoning, nodded, and brushed past them.
Mabel shivered a little. She had almost forgotten that in Falling City, the chances of Kyle Kinston being recognized were much higher than in other cities.
