Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 158: Let’s Eat Chocolate
The night had fallen outside when Aselia and Xiran left Rivan’s office building. Although Aselia was feeling hungry she felt more tired and her head began to dangle. She hadn’t slept the previous night because of her flight and anticipation.
Xiran observed her sideways with a content smile on his face as her eyes drooped and she struggled to stay awake even though she tried. Before she could bump her head into the side door of the car, Xiran extended his hand and steadied her head so she could rest peacefully on his hand while he drove with the other one.
Reaching back, he parked the car, and getting out he gently carried her inside while ordering the waiting Carios to bring the food to Aselia’s room. Aselia woke up as he carried her inside but snuggled close to his heat and warmness.
Once inside the room, he laid her on the bed and she opened her sleepy eyes to look at him. Xiran took off her mask and beanie and placed them aside, he then proceeded to repeat the same procedure with her shoes. Opening the blanket he covered her with it and after tucking it all around her, he clasped her face and asked:
"If you are not too sleepy, eat something," but Aselia felt too tired.
"Hmm, in the morning, I want to sleep now," her small mouth flew open and a yawn escaped it.
"You haven’t been getting enough sleep. Isn’t it?"
Xiran sat down beside her and held her face.
"I never get enough sleep on the job, especially when I am on missions," the door knocked and Xiran permitted Carios to enter.
He carried their food. "Place it on the table, Carios. You may leave after that. I will call you if any need arises," Xiran told him and he bowed before leaving.
The aroma of food made Aselia’s stomach growl and her mouth water. "I think I will have a little bit of food," she announced getting up and heading to the bathroom to wash her hands and change into a night dress.
"Sure, get fresh. I will be back in ten minutes. I need to change as well," Xiran got up and left for his room to freshen up and change as well.
Aselia chose a purple silk nightie with straps and after freshening up, she changed into it. Getting out of the bathroom she sat down and waited for Xiran to come back so they could eat.
The door opened and Xiran entered while clad in a white silken robe, the neckline plunged to his naval, displaying his taut chest to Aselia and her heartbeat picked up a notch. Xiran smirked seeing her reaction.
"Do you really have to flaunt your chest at me?" Aselia asked with a shake of her head.
"Yes, I love seeing and feeling your reactions to my body," he strolled over to the other chair and settled down, and focused all his attention on Aselia and her nightie.
His luscious stares made Aselia uncomfortable and she tried to pull the straps of her nightie up so that the tiny upper part of her breasts which peeked out would get covered too. He smiled at her antics and placed his hand under his chin before whispering with his velvety tongue:
"What’s the point Leia, I am going to take it off once you finish eating and gobble those mounds you are trying to hide from me."
Aselia felt a sudden warmness consume her whole body as if she had been lit like dry hay. He had parted his hair which fell in his eyes and he kept staring at her from behind them. His calm orbs turned stormy and Aselia knew she was about to be wrecked by them.
She was transfixed and couldn’t even move, forgetting to breathe in the process and all he did was gape at her. So he spoke again:
"I told you the first time we met that you won’t be able to resist my charms for long, was I right or wrong?" His question left her speechless but little did he know that his touch had always bothered her, not in a bad way, she felt a pull from the very first moment she met him.
She jerked herself out of the spell he was always casting on her and bellowed: "Wrong, nothing is charming about you, just smugness and haughtiness, huh."
Xiran laughed at her answer and pointed to the food: "Eat, so I can show you how charming I am."
Aselia picked up a piece of pepperoni pizza and slowly began to eat, just to stall time. Xiran still watched her eat as she got up and went to her suitcase.
She opened it and extracted a large metallic rectangular box of chocolates from it. She strolled over to him and sat down on his lap with a smile and handed him the box before saying:
"I didn’t know what to bring you but then I remembered you wanted to do something with that chocolate before your birthday and somehow we ended up fighting. So, here you go, you can try that I won’t stop you or spoil your mood this time."
Xiran felt his chest constrict with all the sudden emotions he encountered from her warm words. He took the box from her and wrapped her in his soothing embrace before murmuring:
"Thank you, you are the sweetest," he kissed her head and she snuggled in his chest while finishing the piece of pizza in her hands.
Xiran opened the box and took out a piece of square chocolate, he carefully closed the lid and placed it on the table. Taking the chocolate between his teeth he held Aselia’s face close to his and pushed the chocolate toward her lips.
She gazed into his greyish spheres with a thudding heart and parted her lips and Xiran thrust the chocolate into her mouth and their lips connected. The chocolate melted between their mouths and tongues as both of them closed their eyes to taste it, mingled with each other’s flavours.
