Chapter 236: [Bonus Chapter]Go To Hell

Carios’s limp body was released by the Phantom and it stood still for a fraction of a second before he fell to the ground, never to rise again.

Frila’s eyes were twice the size from the horror she had just witnessed, his heart lay in her lap as she wailed and pulled her hair.

"Noooooo!" Blood-curdling screams left her as she scampered towards Carios and gathered his fallen body in her arms.

"Ahh! Seems like I touched a nerve there," Phantom bent down and faced Frila. The two vampires with him snickered from the distance while Frila’s crestfallen face was streaked with tears. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

"May you rot in the deepest pits of hell, you monster. I hope Señor kills you one day," Frila yelled at him with as much ferocity as she could muster. The murderous look she gave him almost made him chuckle.

"That’s the dream for you all, sadly it’s just a fantasy which will never see the light of reality," reaching into his pocket he took out a handkerchief and began to wipe his blood-stained hands.

His phone rang and taking it out he checked the caller ID and before answering it, addressed his subordinates: "Finish her and meet me at Mazitine’s office," he got up and without a backward glance, ascended the stairs as the two vampires approached Frila with lustful looks and taunting smiles.

Phantom had reached outside the hotel as he spoke on the phone: "The girl is not here, proceed with plan B," he informed Xifin and cut the call.

His chauffeur opened the door of his black car and he got in to head towards his second destination.

The once peaceful city was in mayhem today. Innocent blood was being spilt on roads, streets, inside houses and buildings. Hues and cries filled the air no matter where one turned. Hunters who had just started working here had called for backup and were fighting alongside the police and special forces of vampires Mazitine and Warise had set up.

Numerous buildings were on fire as ferocious creatures snarled and attacked whoever came into their path. The Fritez City was a warzone and as the word was spreading the neighbouring cities were sending their elite forces of vampires as well to safeguard the innocent.

Phantom watched everything as his car glided along the roads with a satisfied smile spreading on those ultra-thin lips. The smile was void of any warmth, it was cold like the icy wind of a blister.

The red building of the mayor’s office came into view and there was tight security all around it. His car halted at a distance. Phantom waited for his specifically created chimeras to arrive, five of them reached there soon.

Their heads were like Golden hounds but their black hairless bodies were of vampires, while they could fly like wendigos. Their bat-like wings were torn and gave them a haunting look. They flew like lightning and began to obliterate the security detail of the mayor’s office.

A bloody battle ensued, limbs and insides were ripped and thrown in every direction. Blood splattered the pavements and the road.

Two of them were brought down by specially designed arrows and bullets but the rest gave Phantom enough opening to enter the building.

One of the chimeras walked closer to him like a lapdog. Protecting him from any foreign attack that might be hurled his way.

Every vampire who dared crossed their path was ripped apart by the chimera. They finally reached the mayor’s office and the chimera threw the door open as Phantom entered straightening his navy blue coat.

His eyes shone with excitement at what he found inside the office. Rivan was on the phone while Irlana stood next to him with a horrified expression.

"My daughter and my son’s best friend. Surprise," he offered them a derisive smile and proceeded towards Irlana with open arms. But Rivan stepped in front of her with a disdainful look spreading on his handsome features.

Phantom stopped dead in his tracks at his action and clicked his tongue before slowly breathing out:

"What a callous man you are Rivan, not letting a man meet his daughter."

"You are not a man, you are a monster," Rivan scathingly replied.

"Too bad for you Rivan, today you can’t stop this monster," he tried to reach out to grab his neck but Irlana stepped forward with a small shriek escaping her.

"Don’t father, I will willingly go with you. Just don’t hurt anyone here," her eyes held tears of remorse and fear.

"You don’t have to go with him Irlana," Rivan tried to take her arm and pull her back but she stopped him.

"I have to Rivan," she tried to keep a stony face to not show any emotions to her father which he would use against her or Rivan.

"Good choice my dear," Phantom then motioned to the chimera with him and said:

"Take away my daughter and keep her safe until I return," Chimera hurried forward and grabbing Irlana’s arm tugged her along. Rivan watched with a pained face, his hands clenched on their own and all the veins in his arms bulged out.

Phantom finally turned to face Rivan and a sly smile spread on his face again.

"So Rivan, let’s get down to business. Did you see my creations? Aren’t they amazing?"

Rivan gritted his teeth in annoyance, his blue eyes were turbulent with all the emotions he was experiencing as he thundered:

"What do you want? Why are you here?"

"I just wanted a test run to what I have created, one day I will be ruling the world so needed to see how successful my experiments were. Seeing the results I am not disappointed, don’t you think?"

With these words, he took another step closer to Rivan so they were almost face to face. While, both of them possessed blue eyes one had a warmth to them for those he loved while the other was cold, devoid of emotions like a dead body.

Phantom then smirked and his hand reached out to clutch Rivan’s throat.
