Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 245: Deal With The Devil
"Fantastic! Now tell me everything you remember about the elven girl Xiran kept. The one you told Xifin about," Phantom asked her with a malicious glint crossing his eyes.
Treia focused herself as an onslaught of memories came rushing back to her. Hurting her, piercing her heart as she remembered every touch, every kiss, every intimate moment she had shared with Xiran.
And then she remembered how he callously took her memories and threw her in jail after everything she did for him, just because of Aselia. Her teeth gritted in annoyance, she wanted revenge and something told her that the man in front of her would assist her in this task. So she began:
"Gladly. He hired her about a year ago. As soon as she came he tossed me aside although I had been with Xiran for more than four years. She had no regard for him, she didn’t respect him or us even in the slightest and yet she was all he could see. He even became intimate with me in front of her, just to make her jealous. It was like she had cast a spell on him and made him blind to everything else."
"Interesting, and what was her name?" he inquired with a devious smile that spread on those thin lips.
"Aselia, her name is Aselia and I wanted her dead. That’s why I told Xiran’s brother and girlfriend about her," Treia’s face was contorted in a vicious smile.
"Aselia!!! I see. And you know her full by any chance?"
"No, he just called her Aselia," Treia added.
"No problem, I can work with half-name too. You know unfortunately that girl survived but she is unfit for my son. So just like you I want her dead too. Since you did so well Treia and we have similar goals, that’s why I have a proposition for you," Phantom gave her a knowing smile.
"I am all ears," she couldn’t believe she was sitting in front of her master’s father. Someone who Xiran always avoided talking about.
"How would you like to become a vampire and hunt down that girl for me? If you bring her to me, I promise I will guarantee to make you the only girl in Xiran’s life. How about that?" Treia’s smile widened like the grinch’s at Phantom’s lucrative words. She had asked Xiran numerous times to turn her into a vampire so she could be with him forever but he was vehemently against this decision. His father on the other hand was ready to give her what she desired most.
"Señor, I will be forever indebted to you and I promise to not fail. There is nothing I want more than to be with my master," excitement dripped from her words. She could sense her dream coming into her grasp soon. Aselia had survived but not for long.
"And you will be once I have that girl. Let’s get started then, shall we?" Phantom grinned and yet those eyes stayed lifeless. Getting up he offered his hand to Treia who in return gladly took it. There was no fear in her eyes for she had decided to go to any length to acquire what she thought was rightfully hers. They exited and proceeded to another lab. 𝚏𝐫𝚎𝗲𝕨𝐞𝐛𝕟𝚘𝐯𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝗺
Unaware and oblivious that a fox-like creature was listening to their recent conversation from the adjacent room, where she hid in the clothing cabinet. Her slow heart rate and sharp sense of hearing put her at advantage to successfully spy on people. She had hidden well.
This news jolted her, she had to get the information to Rumail as soon as possible. And it was time she met with Xiran and made a proper introduction too. The way everything was progressing she knew he would need all the help he could get.
She sneaked open the cabinet door with her small nose and scanned the room, it was empty. Quietly trotting on her paws she escaped the room through the laundry chute. Dropping down to the lower level, she hid in the laundry and waited for the laundry room to clear before escaping the secret hideout. It took her a while but she was able to sneak out, undetected.
Amoris ran as fast as her legs could carry her, putting as much distance between the hideout and herself. She sprinted for hours before reaching an abandoned house. Ensuring no one followed her.
She finally transformed and gasped for air. After catching her breath, the naked girl approached the mouldy carpet, picking it up a wooden floor was revealed. She removed two planks and took out a medium-sized wooden box she had stashed there before proceeding to her mission.
Opening it, she took out a dress and a small phone with buttons. Amoris threw the dress on herself in haste and immediately called Rumail after turning it on. Her heart was beating uncontrollably fast.
He instantly picked up and asked with concern: "Are you alright?"
"I am but I have bad news," Amoris told him everything she had heard with a heavy heart. Rumail was not pleased.
"I see, I have to inform Señor, he will be pissed. Thanks, sweetness. I owe you big time," he kissed her through the phone.
"My Rumi! I love you and I will come to see you soon. I have to go now and will be destroying this phone. I know it’s untraceable but don’t want to take any chances with Phantom, especially now that he is moving against his son. I will get in touch once I have another phone, till then goodbye."
Slight sadness enveloped her as she bid him goodbye and he did the same.
"Stay safe, sweetness. Goodbye," the call was dropped but Rumail couldn’t move from his spot for a while. It was Carios’s funeral today and they were preparing for it. Xiran was already under immense pressure and Rumail knew he was only hanging by a thread. This news will break him.
So he decided to wait until the funeral service was over to convey this news. He had no clue what devastation this single piece of news was about to bring.
