Elven Encounter With A Blood Seeker
Chapter 266: Under New Management
Frila returned to the hotel after three weeks. Xiran had asked her to take over the management and run it the way she wanted. She was overseeing the reconstruction work. All the damages that the place had undergone during the attack were being fixed.
She wanted to return the place to its former glory with few changes. It was the dungeon that still haunted her, the place where she lost Carios. She never knew she possessed the ferocity she had used to kill those vampires that came at her. There was so much rage and fury which built inside her and it hadn’t burnt out.
She decided to change the dungeon hall to something bright. Something that their hotel lacked. A play area and daycare for toddlers and kids. They occasionally had guests with kids who wanted to attend parties or hit casinos and nightclubs but had nowhere to leave the kids.
Frila knew it would be a great idea to have such a place here. She wanted to get rid of the dark and gloomy dungeon hall and turn it into something colourful. It would help her heal and not see this place as a wretched one but as something filled with colours and laughter.
She had discussed her plan with Xiran and he had given her free reign to do whatever she wanted with the place except for the room Aselia used to stay in. He requested her to leave it as it is, although her stuff had been moved from there. But furniture, mattress and blanket remained and he didn’t want them to be touched or moved.
Frila not only left Aselia’s room untouched she also left her Señor’s rooms as they were.
"Hurry up! boys. We are opening in a few days, the place needs to be ready by then," she gave instructions as vampire builders zoomed around at their vampiric speed and renovated the place as per Frila’s instructions.
Frila had decided to throw a welcome party to show they were back in business and to invite all the new factions that had joined their city and helped in keeping it safe. Including hunters and special forces sent by different cities. It would be to show their gratitude to them and also to declare that city was headed towards normality.

The party in the hotel was held exactly after a month it was attacked. Although no one was in the mood for it, they took it as a necessity to show that they were not deterred by the Phantom’s attack. This party was meant to lift their spirits. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Frila had dressed up in a simple white gown and was standing in the hall overlooking the final instructions when the phone rang. Seeing the caller ID she found it was Rumail, and she instantly answered.
"Hey! Frila, I was wondering if I could bring plus one to the party today?" he asked as soon as Frila picked up.
"Of course, Rumail you don’t have to ask. More the merrier," she softly answered.
"Great, you’re the best girl. See you tonight," he hung up.
There was another text, she opened it. It was Yurian informing her about Aselia as she had asked him in the morning. As usual, Yurian hadn’t forgotten to inquire about her as well. For the last month whenever he had texted her, he would always ask how she was doing and if she needed anything. Frila could see why Aselia regarded her partner so highly. He was an extremely caring and optimistic person. He would occasionally send her jokes which will make her laugh or smile.
[Thanks for informing me. I am doing better, today we are reopening and renaming the hotel. A small party is being thrown to normalise the situation. I wish Aselia and you could attend but I am not even sure I can even meet her again.] She texted him back and went on to observe the arrangements being made.
The theme was ’Winter Wonderland’ so the hall was decorated in a white and blue theme with snowmen, snow machines, icicles, ice sculptures, snowflakes and other wintery decorations. Twinkling white and blue lights lit up the hall.
Masks in white, blue and silver colour had been arranged for guests who would wish to wear them. Knowing very well that her Señor would prefer to wear one since new people had been invited to attend.
Night fell and guests began to arrive. Frila stood at the entrance and welcomed them, shaking hands with them and slightly smiling although her heart was constricted as her mind was filled with memories of Carios. He had always been there with her. But she knew she needed to be strong. She was a survivor, and today’s party was going to be the living statement of that.
Rivan arrived alongside Xiran and both men marvelled at how she had refurbished the entire hotel.
"Frila! I am so proud of you. I love what you have done with the place and the Winterland theme has been done so well," Xiran who was adorning a royal blue three-piece suit, and a snowflakes theme white mask, praised her efforts.
"Thank you Señor, it was all possible because of you," she slightly bowed as he made his way inside with Rivan and they began mingling with guests.
Agent 93 arrived with his fellow hunters as well, wearing that boyish smile he always had going. He was holding a champagne bottle.
"Hello! Welcome to Hotel Cafris. I am so glad you could join us," Frila welcomed them with an amiable smile.
"Thank you for having us. It looks very grandiose. Here, I didn’t know what else to bring," Agent 93 handed her the champagne bottle and she took it with gratitude. She guided them inside so they could enjoy the party.
Rumail was the next guest to arrive but he wasn’t alone, a girl with blonde hair and striking blue eyes accompanied him. She was adorning a white silk dress along with a white mask which covered the entirety of her face.
He greeted Frila and introduced the girl next to him as his acquaintance. But Frila gave him a knowing smile and he winked at her before he led the girl inside towards where Xiran and Rivan were sitting having a drink.
