Chapter 278: Are You My Leia?

Xiran was extremely restless from the moment Frila had sent him the picture of the painting Aselia had created of him. She was right, he hadn’t been able to erase his existence from her heart, but he still resided there, permanently. Her words echoed in his brain.

How he wanted to see her as he kept staring at the portrait. Only if he could hold her for a few minutes and ease the permanent ache that pinched him every second of his existence. It had been hours and he was sitting there just watching it. How would it feel to touch those rosy lips of hers again?

He closed his eyes, hoping to find a shard of peace in this stormy sea which was his heart now. But there was none, today. Memory after memory of their intimate moments was hitting him like tsunami waves and he was nothing but a dinghy, toppling and wrecking in them.

He decided to hit the bar, drinking away his sorrow and getting drunk might ease his pains a little and he might forget her for a while. Xiran picked up his phone and called Rivan to meet him at Rumail’s nightclub.

Rivan was a bit taken aback by his friend’s call. Xiran never went to nightclubs now, he knew something was off about his friend.

"Xiri! Wait for me," he instructed his friend over the call.

"Ok," Xiran ended the call after that.

Being surrounded by people would distract him. He collected his car keys and left his house in his car. His journey was filled with the moments they had shared in the car. He remembered how she had kissed his cheek when he had won that race and that put a small smile on his face.

Soon he arrived at his destination, parking the car in the parking lot he made his way inside the nightclub.

The atmosphere inside was buzzing, to say the least. Bodies wriggled and danced to the loud tempo of the music under the green, red and purple lights. Everyone was lost in their own world.

He made his way to the bar where Rumail was preparing drinks. Xiran went and sat on the stool opposite him. Seeing him here was a bit surprising for Rumail.

"Señor! Everything alright?" he quietly asked.

"Yes, I need to get drunk. Hit me up with vodka shots," his muscular shoulders sagged today and that look of helplessness in his eyes pinched Rumail’s heart.

Rumail had hated his decision to part with Aselia but at the same time, he couldn’t do anything about it. Aselia had changed him in so many ways and he had seemed genuinely happy with her.

"Are you sure?" Rumail asked with finality and Xiran nodded.

"Please! Rumail help me numb this pain for at least one night," his urgent plea had Rumail moving and placing the shot glass in front of him, he filled it up.

Xiran grabbed it and gulped it down in one go. They kept repeating the process over and over again. Since vampires had faster metabolic rates and it was difficult for them to get drunk. Rumail always added some special ingredients to help them achieve that sweet euphoric state they craved.

Soon his senses began to slow down and his agitated heart began to relax as he lost the concept of place and time. Rumail poured him one last drink and moved to serve other customers. Xiran sat there in a lost state when someone’s sweet scent hit him.

His face jerked to his right and he found someone sitting beside him with long flowy golden hair, her eyes so green that they reminded him of the emerald sea and he found himself lost in them. Then she smiled like a rising sun and lit up his gloomy dark world.

Was she his Leia?

Or was he hallucinating?

"Leia!" he whispered her name ever so softly and she chuckled. She extended her hand so he could shake it and mumbled something incoherent and he found himself smiling and under her spell. He took her hand in his and placed it on his face.

She got up and taking his hand began to lead him somewhere else. There were areas with sofas and curtains drawn to give privacy to couples who wanted it while enjoying the upbeat music.

Xiran followed her in a dazed state as she led him to one of the sofas and pushed him down on it and closed the red curtain that hung in front of the sofa. She then climbed on his lap and straddled him. Her hands went into his silvery smooth hair and her lips descended on his, tasting the vodka he had been drinking on his smooth lips.

She ground her sensitive spot on his manhood while ferociously kissing him. Xiran had shut down his mind and all he could feel was the softness of her lips as he held her tightly by her waist, his eyes closed and his senses went haywire. He didn’t want her to stop. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

Soon her hands began to unbutton his shirt and roam his naked torso. Xiran tightened his grip around her waist and shifted his position to pin her down on the sofa. She giggled at his sudden move and reached out to unzip his pants. Reaching down she pushed her tight dress upwards and taking his hand she placed it on her sensitive spot.

This made Xiran wonder when his Leia became so bold. She was pushing him to enter her and as Xiran parted her legs something clicked inside him and he blinked several times at her. His dazed state and lust-filled eyes finally showed him what he was refusing to see.

The slight smile he held vanished and his hand went to her throat and he clasped it in an anguished state before roaring:

"You are not my Leia. Who are you?"

The girl who was smiling and giggling a while ago became frightened at his sudden mood change and she writhed under this hold to be let loose, but he just kept glaring at her with hateful eyes.
