Chapter 454: Aselia’s Preparation

Aselia’s POV

Xiran’s absence in the last two days affected me more than I wanted myself to believe. Although my mattress and bedding were warm enough, there was nothing that could replace his warmth.

Sayla and Narjla kept me company and I was pampered like a princess but his thoughts never left me. The idea of reuniting with him had an electrifying sensation wash over me, sending delightful tingles that seemed to dance across my skin.

I twirled the beautiful ring he had given me around my finger as the mere thought of seeing him again and what was to follow brought a rush of anticipation and excitement. All the nerves in my body were on edge, eagerly awaiting that moment.

The memories of each encounter, the laughter we shared, and the special connection between us filled my mind. The anticipation of having him own me in a way no one else had done, grew, wrapping me in a captivating veil of emotion.

The soft knock on my door pulled me out of the daydream and I sat up in my soft abode.

"Come in!"

The door opened and Sayla entered with three female attendants. They were carrying breakfast and wooden baskets. And also something covered in a white sheet, which I could only assume was my dress for the ceremony. I hadn’t seen it so

far.

"Kahuis! Aselia, are you ready for your big day?" Sayla happily trotted towards me, wrapping me in her arms. Her delighted smile eased my heart and unknotted some of the tangled nerves in my gut.

"Kahuis! I guess I am just nervous and a bit anxious," I confided to her.

"It’s natural to feel that way while heading into unknown waters but I promise you it will turn out well. We Malikus take care of our soul mates. Although I still have to meet mine I have seen how my father has always cared for my mother and so do others," she reassuringly patted my shoulder.

"I don’t doubt his love. He has done for me what no one else would. I know no one can love me the way he does," a wide smile spread on my lips, his thoughts swelling my heart.

"Then let’s have breakfast and get you ready to meet him," Sayla helped me up and we began preparing for the long day ahead. I wanted this room arrest to end.

After a light breakfast, the girls bathed me, scrubbed me clean and applied scented mixtures to my skin. I glowed like a bronzed statue.

They gave me white fancy panties with gemstones embedded in them to change into. The design and style hardly hid my privates but I knew it was intentional and I wasn’t going to complain.

Sayla then presented me with a small box and instructed me to open it.

"What’s this?" I inquisitively asked while removing the lid.

"Early gift for you. I want you to wear it today," she giggled with mischief and I pulled out what seemed like a complicated chain with very minute ornate designs of small leaves and gems on it.

Confusion grappled me as I stared at it, trying to make sense of how to wear the golden chain.

"It’s a body chain. The exotic dancers wear them, and even the newly mated Serneras also decorate their bodies with it, to increase the appeal and dance for their Seras while only wearing this."

Her words resulted in my ears smoulder like fiery embers and I stupidly blinked at her. Exotic and dancing were the terms that didn’t go with me. But I wanted to do something special for him.

"Show me before we get ready," I shyly asked her.

Sayla signalled to one of the girls. She stepped forward and elegantly removed her white gown, starting from the left shoulder and seductively moving to the right. Slowly and fluidly she peeled it off her body, leaving herself in a delicate body chain that went around the valley between her twin peaks, belly and her intimate area.

She seductively swayed her hips and belly in an alluring dance, her blue eyes shimmered with excitement as her full lips held a subtle smile. It was exquisite to watch.

She gracefully approached me and holding my hands, stood me up as Sayla and the other girls watched with great interest.

"Let me show you, my lady," I affirmatively nodded. She then guided my hips and belly and taught me a few simple steps. I followed her lead and quickly got the hang of it. Sayla enthusiastically clapped as I completed the routine with her. My heart thudded in my chest and I couldn’t wait to show him and see his reaction.

"You are such a fast learner. Xiran is going to love this," Sayla was overjoyed and helped me with the delicate chain. Fastening and securing it around my body.

"Let’s get you dressed for the ceremony so you can meet your man," Sayla teased with a subtle grin. I couldn’t help but feel a sense of anticipation creep up on me, my hands and feet went cold. She ordered the girls to reveal my gown and accessories.

The white cloth was lifted and what lay underneath left me speechless. I had never seen such an exquisite and lavish gown before. The jewels on it, the design, the cape cloak that would trail behind, the colours, and the material. Every element had been meticulously put together to provide a uniqueness to my dress.

The plunging neckline was something I would never choose but I understood why Sayla had given me a body chain. It would fit well with it.

"How do you like the dress?" Sayla inquired with a hint of a smile as I stupidly gawked at it.

"Well it has me tongue-tied and that’s something which never happens. So you can imagine that I love it," my brain finally processed and formed words and the girls laughed at my reaction. Xiran’s family had truly outdone themselves and had gone all out to spoil me with royal treatment.

"Then let’s get you in it and you can dazzle everyone," two of the girls lifted the heavy gown and helped me with it. The backside was adjusted using a slim ribbon, they tightened and fastened it.

The fancy gown slithered along my body like a second skin, fitting and adjusting along every curve and dip. My hands stroked against the smooth material and I loved its feel under my fingertips. My bosoms seemed to be formed out of thousands of tiny gemstones that sparkled like a faraway galaxy.

"My goddess, you look so perfect Aselia. I can’t wait to see your complete look," Sayla exclaimed, her hand going to her mouth. I awkwardly smiled back at her as the girls seated me in front of a huge mirror and began to unravel their magic.

They painted my nails with shimmering silver paint, lightly curled my hair and adorned them with little artificial flowers, with white and silver barrette which had pearls and gemstones embedded in it. Long silver chains hung down which covered the entirety of my open hair.

They then moved to make-up. It was very different from the ones we had on Altair. Everything was in small circular vials or glass boxes and they craftily used only their fingers to give me a natural look. It accentuated my features and enhanced my overall facial structure.

Next, they offered me a miscellaneous variety of jewellery. Earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets. Every piece was a masterpiece in its own kind and it was a difficult decision to choose from them.

But I chose winged-shaped crystal white earrings, and a matching bracelet to go with them. Sayla wanted me to wear a necklace as well but I told her the only necklace I would wear was already there, around my neck.

Once the jewellery department was done, they offered me white gloves woven from incredibly delicate and plush material. It seemed to melt along my skin.

Now the shoes were left and the variety they had brought was something I couldn’t even fathom to exist. They were transparent and seemed to be constructed from some kind of crystalline material with gems adorning their heels and silver vine-like extensions that extended to my legs. Crystal flowers and wings covered the heels. My feet eased into them and they felt genuinely comfortable.

Sayla and the girls checked me from head to toe for like an umpteenth time and finally smiles of satisfaction covered their faces. I could barely recognise myself in the mirror but I knew he would be happy and that’s what mattered to me most.

"You are perfection," Sayla adjusted my dress as she handed me a small pouch, "This is what you requested and I hope it’s according to what you desired."

I loosened the strings and peeked inside and Sayla had indeed delivered more than what she had promised. It was flawless like my man and my heart almost burst with an overflow of emotions.

"Thank you, Sayla. This is indeed what I had in mind. And I will repay you ten times on my next visit," I had promised Sayla to bring some of the novelties from Altair in exchange for the gift.

"Just bring me choaklate on your next visit. I want to taste what that is," she was excited from the moment I had told her about chocolate and she still had a hard time pronouncing the word.

"You got yourself a deal," we shook hands as she hid the small pouch in a side fold of my dress.

"Let’s go get that ceremony started," she winked at me and I couldn’t help but shyly smile in return.

(Picture of Aselia’s dress is in the comment section. It was designed by me, let me know how you find it.)
