A strike from the Vengeful Saw Axe nearly split Dan Tai’s shoulder open, and the engine roared like an evil heart beating hoarsely. Each breath of the engine sent out a chilling screech, so piercing at close range that it made one want to cover their ears.

Clearly a cold metal creation, but at the moment it drank blood, it seemed to possess a mechanized feeling, the serrated axe blade like interlocked gears, a fast-spinning chainsaw.

As the axe blade drilled into flesh, the buzzing of the chainsaw grew closer; its sharp, piercing sound instilled fear, and the continuously rotating grinding teeth emitted a cold light. Once it started slicing through flesh, that dreadful sound filled the entire space.

Dan Tai could hear the sound of flesh being torn into pieces, the precious bones being crushed; the thoughts in his mind grew confused and blurred to the light accompaniment of those sounds.

He also tried to fight back, but at this moment, he felt another weaker coldness piercing his spine.

Dan Tai was overwhelmed by the frenzy of desire, not noticing Bologue’s approach, nor realizing that besides the pain from the Vengeful Saw Axe, Grudge Bite had already severed his spine.

The Ether no longer answered Dan Tai’s call, utterly silent.

When Bologue severely injured an enemy, Protection·Soul Sucking and Essence Stealing would work with the Vengeful Saw Axe, devouring the enemy’s blood while also draining the Ether. Bologue gradually realized that as long as he dealt enough severe damage to the enemy and breached the protective Rectangular Soul Critical, he could leverage this near-death-cycle-like offensive to utterly eradicate all the enemy’s resistance.

In an instant, amidst Dan Tai’s suffocating wails, the smell of blood and the stench of flesh filled the entire area, a scent so nauseating it made one want to vomit. Those mixtures of muscle and blood were casually tossed to the ground, where the blood formed a crimson river, its stench like the screams of a destroyed mind.

Under the relentless torment, Dan Tai felt his soul being ground away piece by piece. The Face of Horror erupted, horrifying hallucinations overlapped in his mind, a series of forces stacked upon each other, causing him to completely lose his ability to think, along with his life.

Bologue casually discarded Dan Tai’s corpse, his blood sucked dry by the Hand Axe, the Ether fully seized by Bologue, and at this moment he held no more value.

Feeling his body filled, Bologue strode towards Aimou and Balder.

Balder remained highly vigilant, the fog’s cover making it impossible for him to identify the identity of the terrifying figure. When Bologue’s figure gradually became clear, only then did his mind settle down.

And it was then that Balder noticed, having been long stationed at the Sublimation Furnace Core, it was his first time witnessing Bologue’s brutal methods. It made Balder somewhat nauseous.
