[Note: Pureblood NaturalCore Ascendant/Calamity = 20 Inferior and 9 Superior! I had completely forgotten about the Ascension ranks there, only doing the math with Core and Bloodline Tiers in mind].

[Now everything is fixed. If you notice any other inconsistency; just comment—I’ll work towards an appropriate resolution immediately].

(Because of this mistake, the Chapters were late).

"How are you feeling, Aphryne?" He questioned, his tone remarkably gentle. "Any better?"

"Hm," she nodded, pulling back slightly. "I’m better now! Feeling much better than before." She gently got out of his arms, taking a few deep breaths to compose herself some more.

"So... what did you learn this time?" Aezaleon asked with a curious smile.

"I was only able to comprehend three concepts," Aphryne said in a low voice, her tone laced with a hint of exhaustion. "The information was just too much, because of which it also was that much more chaotic, disorderly and disorganized, making it even more difficult to make out what was what and what was not."

"That’s... something new," Aezaleon blinked, his expression surprised. "I did not know there was such a limitation to my sub ability!"

"Maybe this limitation only applies to the unintelligent calamities. We don’t know, it might not even exist for existences who have awakened their intelligence or were born with it. So, let’s not draw any permanent conclusions, alright," Clementine spoke from the side, giving her own opinion on the matter with an analytical look.

"Big sister is correct," Auguszta commented, nodding her head in affirmation. "Considering calamities are by nature; more destructive! They bring disaster and inevitable ruin to whomever, whoever, whatever, or wherever they strike."

"We are "Life" born from the essence of death, disorder, and chaos of two distinctive universes after all, so our information would obviously also reflect such concepts."

Considering their opinions, Aezaleon nodded in agreement.

"You’re probably correct. It seems I was too rash in my assumptions. As Clementine said, we’ll move without drawing any conclusive conclusion for now."

He refocused on Aphryne, waiting for her to continue. Which she did, mentioning another important detail she had not previously.

"Even though the concepts are less in number, quantity, they are all superior concepts, greater in quality. Well, two are while one is inferior," Aphryne immediately corrected with a silently embarrassed tone, her cheeks flushing slightly.

"They are the inferior concept of—[Sandrix Implosion Lance] and superior concepts of—[Radiant Spearfall] and [Nightbind]—from the Calamity: Dunex Aridwind Strator, Radiant Cervion and Umbryth Gorlux respectively."

"Also, I even managed to raise their proficiency from Level Zero: Initiation to Level One: Major along with all of my inferior wind type concepts! By now they are all sitting at the low or high of Minor Level!"

Aphryne said smugly, her chest swelling with pride as she further expanded on the details of the three concepts.

--- --- --- --- ---

1. Sandrix Implosion Lance (Inferior Concept) — [A concept focused on creating compressed piercing force that strikes like a lance and collapses inward on impact, causing concentrated internal damage].

2. Radiant Spearfall (Superior Concept) — [A concept that creates powerful light-based spear attacks from multiple directions, combining speed, precision, and overwhelming ranged offense].

3. Nightbind (Superior Concept) — [A concept that uses darkness to restrict movement, suppress actions, and trap targets through shadow-like binding force and concealment].

Aezaleon parted his lips in shock.

Now this was what he called good news. He chuckled softly. Afterwards, they had a small, detailed discussion about what these concepts she learned could do. After they were done, Aezaleon moved towards the calamities Auguszta had collected.

Moreover, as Aphryne wasn’t in any condition to absorb the other two rank 4 calamities, Clementine put them inside her internal storage created through her Extreme concept of—[Scarlet Archive].

In Auguszta’s calamity mountain, there were four rank 4 and five rank 3 calamities. There were not many types in her mountain, only four, unlike Aphryne, who had about every calamity of a different type.

From the five Calamity types; one was a Rhinoceros. It was of material rank 4 and spiritual rank 2.

The second type were three hyenas. One was a material rank 4 and spiritual rank 2, and two were material rank 3 and spiritual rank 1.

Afterwards, the third type was an elephant. A rank 4 and rank 2 calamity. The fourth type was a tortoise type calamity with a material ascension core of rank 4 and spiritual core of rank 1.

Lastly, the final three calamities were rodents. They were rats, and all were material rank 3 and spiritual rank 1.

The Calamity: Terronex Gravhorn Rhino was from the family of gravity rhinoceroses. Its element was Gravex. A Gravity–Force type element focused on attraction and a focused crushing pressure. It had inferior concepts such as—[Heavy Charge], [Ground Press], [Force Stomp], [Weight Surge], [Pull Field], and [Gravex Lock], and superior concepts such as—[Gravity Crush], [Mass Lock], etc.

The former was capable of pressure collapse, and the latter, as the name suggested, could pin enemies in place.

It was a powerful calamity even amongst others of its ranks, but it looks like against Auguszta’s elemental power—Varkyros and Burningblight, it too fell to its doom in the end.

The next were the calamities that didn’t just attack the body—but break the mind and structures through sound and dread—Gravemirth Hyena Varkul. Their laughter echoed through the area like a chorus of mocking ghouls from the abyss.

Their element was sound-darkness based—Dirgevex!

Meaning a resonant sound of dread.

The hyenas were lean and jagged with uneven bone-like protrusions along their backs. Their mouths stretched wider than natural because of their once constantly emitting low, echoing laughters. Dark ripples distorted the air around their dead forms, and their eyes flickered dim violet as sound vibrations visibly pulsed through their unmoving bodies.

They were quite dirty bastards, since working in numbers, they broke their victims mentally then devoured them physically.

The next was the Ferradon Elephant Magnor!

A colossal calamity with thick metallic plates fused into its skin. Its tusks were forged like polished steel, glowing faintly. It possessed heavy limbs that created deep ground pressure, and a body radiating dense force. Subtle magnetic distortions rippled around its form, pulling small debris toward its dead frame. The debris gathered around the corpse like iron filings drawn to an inescapable center.

Its element was Magnex!

A metal type element focused on immense strength, durability, and reinforcement through its magnetic traits. It had an absurd amount of strength and was capable of controlling other metals through magnetic force. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

The rat and the tortoise were also strong calamities.

Where the Calamity: Pestilent Septicore Rat had the element—Morvex! In simple words, Infective airflow! It was a powerful element made on the foundation of plague and air, capable of spreading far and weakening victims without them even knowing, but the majority of its strength was heavily dependent on time.

Afterwards, the Calamity: Pyronyx Tortoise Cindor had the element—Cindron! A powerful combination of the basic elements of Flame and Earth. Strong in defense, sustained damage, and area heat control.

Aezaleon gave each calamity some time.

Examining them and coming to learn more about them, their elements, their capabilities, and some other details through Clementine.
