"Secret," Victor said with a smirk, which caused Eleanor to look at him in annoyance and click her tongue.

"So, who’s going to take them out?" Victor asked in a cold voice, and Amber was the one who stepped forward and said in an equally cold voice, "I will deal with them."

The goblins’ eyes lit up with excitement as they openly leered at Amber. "Krr, krr, beauty... this beauty is even greater than the ones we tasted. I wonder how she will feel to conquer"

"Krr, krr, I am going to take her to bed," another goblin said as his eyes roamed over her lustfully, and imagined himself tasting the beauty and making her bear little goblins.

"Hey, you already had your quota of women, krrr," another goblin complained in a unfriendly tone.

"These beasts can actually speak the human tongue?" Eleanor’s eyes widened in disbelief as she looked at the goblins. This was the first time she had seen or even heard of magical beasts capable of speaking human language.

Victor, who had heard her words, just shook his head and thought, ’A frog in a well. If she knew there were creatures like Elves, Dwarves, Dragons, demons, and others with their own galactic empires, I wonder what her reaction would be... Anyway, after this world evolves, she will get to see a few of them before space travel begins.’

Victor shook his head. Many of the beasts and other races were friendly with humans, and they even married and mated with one another, and led a harmonious family. If fact many humans preferred other races over their own, and some had obsession in forming their own harem comprised of top beauties of from toehr races. Victor then turned his attention back to Amber, who looked surprised at first, but upon seeing their gazes, her eyes turned icy as she thought, ’Only Vic can look at me with lust.’

Everyone’s eyes snapped toward the doorway and saw more goblins entering their view, their eyes lighting up upon seeing them.

"Krr, humans!"

"They look strong. They must have good equipment with them.

Some of the goblins started chattering while eyeing the space rings and equipment they carried. Goblins were at the bottom of the food chain along with other humanoid beasts. They were not very intelligent and lived like primitives, looting others for gear and modifying it according to their needs. The only advantage beasts at the bottom of the food chain had was that they reproduced rapidly and existed in massive numbers.

On the other hand, the vast majority stared at the bodies and beautiful appearances of Amber and Eleanor. The naked lust in their eyes exposed the filthy thoughts crossing their minds.

"Krr, hot! That woman has a nice pair of breasts!"

"Krr... I prefer the cool-looking girl... Those are the best in bed."

It seemed that, in their heads, the two women were already unclothed on the bed while they entertained themselves with them.

Victor gave them a sidelong glance before acting as if they didn’t exist.

The only ones paying attention to the goblins were the girls.

"All of you... are courting death." Amber’s cold voice drew the goblins’ attention.

The goblins were surprised and startled by the cold yet deadly gaze of the woman before them. Instead of becoming afraid, they seemed to grow even more excited as saliva started dripping from their mouths.

"Krr, first let’s kill the human male," one of the goblins said.

"Krr, what? But I wanted to have fun with him," another goblin protested after hearing his words.

"Krr, no, I have a better idea. Let’s cut off his limbs and force him to watch as his woman whimpers beneath us goblins. I can smell his essence on that woman," another goblin said.

Victor’s eyes darkened, and he was about to take action.

The temperature inside the room suddenly plummeted as black, chilling frost spread outward from where Amber was standing.

"Krr, damn, something is wrong." The goblins’ instincts screamed danger, and even though lust still lingered in their eyes, they suppressed it with great difficulty.

"Krr, quick, kill her! I feel something wrong with her," one of the goblins holding a spear shouted. When he saw the hesitant expressions on the other goblins, he frowned and said, "We can always play with her corpse, and isn’t there another woman still alive?"

"Krr, you are right." The goblins nodded as they looked at Amber and started imagining how they would defile her dead body.

"Sick creatures." Amber’s face turned even frostier after hearing their conversation.

The spearman let out a furious shout, unleashing the full force of his mana. A moment later, he felt the spear inch forward and allowed himself a brief smile—only for it to vanish when he realized the truth. His body could no longer move as frost started spreading across it, and in the next second—

Bang!

The ice statue fell to the ground and shattered into pieces.

"Fuck! What the hell are you doing? Stop fooling around!"

Unable to endure it any longer, the rest of them charged forward, swinging massive maces, swords, and other weapons—some twice the size of their own bodies—straight at Amber’s head.

"Freeze."

Swoosh!

With a violent gale of freezing air, the bodies of eleven of the twelve goblins slowly froze from their feet to their heads. They screamed and struggled to move, but the frost clinging to their clothes quickly hardened and spread until the lower halves of their bodies were encased in thick layers of ice.

"Black Ice Spears," Amber said in a cold voice as multiple spears made of black ice appeared and pierced the statues, turning them into countless frozen shards.

"Let’s go down. I can still sense traces of humans and goblins downstairs," Victor said as they descended and followed him.
