Chapter 134: Ch-: Thornfield Family (2)
"Sigh, let’s get the drama started," Olivia Thornfield sighed as she stepped out of the million-dollar car.
The moment she stepped out of the car, everyone’s eyes were on her, not because they had just recognized her identity, but because of her stunning beauty.
"Oh, isn’t it my dear lovely Olivia?" a voice immediately spoke up the moment she entered the luxurious mansion, which was packed with guests as if a party was going on. Hearing the voice, Olivia’s face immediately darkened and turned frosty.
’What dogshit luck, my day just had to start with hearing that voice. I assume my entire day is going to go downhill from here,’ Olivia cursed inwardly upon hearing the condescending and unwelcoming tone.
Olivia did not give any attention to the voice and completely ignored it as she resumed walking forward.
Annoyed at the lack of acknowledgment, he stepped into her path, causing her to pause.
Olivia was already annoyed as it was, yet this idiot was determined to make the day even more unpleasant.
Standing directly in her path, with a drink in hand and that insufferable smirk on his face, was—
"Owen," Olivia said flatly.
Her dear cousin.
Of all the Thornfields, he was the most obsessed with hierarchy, appearances, and making sure everyone else knew when they had failed to meet his standards.
"You are really as willful as ever, sister. As a Thornfield, you have to be punctual," Owen Thornfield said with a smirk on his face and then continued, "You know, if you displease grandfather, you might lose the heir position."
Olivia looked at him up and down as if she were examining some kind of lowly creature. "Even if I lose the title, do you think someone with dirty blood like you would even get the chance to inherit the family fortune? Compared to wastes and trash like you, I consider my cousins far more worthy rivals. Just thinking about the surname I share with lowly blood and bastards like you makes me feel disgusted."
"You..." Owen’s smirk faltered as he clenched his fist and his face turned red with anger. Olivia could easily get under his skin, and she was one of the few people who had the guts to mock him over the one thing he hated most—his birth.
Unlike Olivia, whose mother had a powerful background and was admired by his father, Owen’s mother was just a lowly maid who had seduced his father and gotten pregnant, making Owen a bastard. Olivia’s mother had died due to complications during childbirth, and her father later married the maid.
Her grandfather, the current family head, never considered Owen a true Thornfield due to his low-class blood, and that was Owen’s greatest insecurity.
"Anyway, I have better things to do than talk to an insect," Olivia said coldly as she looked around, and her eyes landed on a group of people. She walked towards them with a mischievous smile.
"Oh, if it isn’t Lady Olivia, what brings you here?" a woman asked and then added with a provocative smile, "Did you come here to give up your title to Sir Maxwell?"
"Long time no see, Ivana," Olivia said as she looked at the three people sitting across from her.
Olivia did not say anything and simply sat in the chair and handed each of them one tablet. There was a video playing on the tablets.
"What’s this?" Ivana said as she picked up the tablet, and when the video started playing, her face went pale with fright.
The screen now showed Ivana in a pink bikini. The married opened her mouth to suck in a cock in front of her, which was not her husband
The it showed her again, as she was being pounded from behind. The background seemed to be a kitchen, and this time it was a different man.
Ivana felt her throat turning dry after seeing herself on the screen.
Another video which made her the most terrified showed her lying naked in the arms of a muscular man. The two of them were having a conversation which everyone could hear.
"How is my son?" The trainer asked.
"He is good," Ivana kissed him on the lips before continuing, "He is just as handsome as you."
"Obviously," the trainer nodded his head and said, "Unlike your idiot husband I have got good genes."
"Don’t talk of that idiot," Ivana looked irritated by the mention of her husband as she said,"He is so stupid that he can’t even realize that the child he loves so dearly isn’t his."
"That’s a good thing," the trainer laughed before continuing, "Besides I have already manipulated the paternity report so there was no way he could know."
"Ivana, even though you son is Thornfield, do you think grandfather will not like him to make an example out of you" Olivia said in a cold voice.
"F-Fake this fake" Ivana said fearfully.
" Oh, do you want grandfather to decide if it is fake or not" Olivia challenged.
" Fuck" she cursed, she turned to look at the others who had simlair expressions
"What do you want?" Ivana looked at her with fear in her eyes.
"You should know what I want. I want you to stop supporting my cousin and support me from now on," Olivia said with a cold look. It had taken almost three years to find their reverse scale, but she succeeded and now had them in the palm of her hand. These bastards were even part of the Thornfield lineage and held voting rights as part of the core faction of Maxwell’s group.
Seeing their hesitant looks, she said coldly, "You have ten seconds to decide, or else your videos will be sent to every top media channel."
Their faces turned pale, and they hurriedly agreed.
"Yes."
"We agree."
"Maxwell? Who is that?"
"Good, doggies. From now on you will obey everything I say. If I say bark, you bark like a dog. If I say kill, you kill. Do you understand?"
The others, though visibly indignant, nodded quickly in agreement. In their eyes, Olivia was a demoness and far more terrifying than anyone. What betrayal? They were betraying Maxwell after getting benefits—sorry, what benefits? Who is Maxwell? They don’t know anyone with that name.
