"But who is this?" Caleb asked, looking at Neil with narrowed eyes.

He didn’t like any man being near Cynthia, it gave him insecurity and a strange sense of irritation.

"It is him I wanted to talk to you about." Cynthia’s words were like swords piercing into Caleb’s heart, he hoped this would finally be the day.

But she was going to talk about another man.

"What is it?" he asked, masking his emotions.

"It would be better to talk once we are away from the crowd." Cynthia replied, the topic of the lost elven world couldn’t be brought up here.

"Oh you are here Caleb!" just then the voice of a male warden interrupted them.

Caleb was so curious about the relation between the two, but for now he could not ask.

"Ah yes, I am indeed here, nice to meet you again." The two began to talk and soon Caleb was dragged away to meet the others.

None of them dared to get close to Cynthia so there were no more interruptions.

She sat beside him, creating a faint barrier that would stop all sounds with a treasure.

"So Neil, are you ready for the heist?" Cynthia was very happy to meet him in reality for the first time.

But the priority was to steal the treasure and save Neil, she had made several preparations in advance.

Now it mostly depended on luck, for quite some time there hadn’t been any talk about that treasure.

"Yes, so what do I have to do?" Neil asked, looking forward, acting casual.

Even though he so badly wanted to hold Cynthia, and do a lot more, but he could only control his urges.

"Create a big commotion, once the battle starts, you have to defeat them all. And once you are done here, come meet me, I will give you my location." Cynthia explained.

The starting part was easy, Neil had to fight those young lords anyway so it wouldn’t matter.

"Once we are done with the heist, we will have enough time to be with one another." Cynthia added, she glanced at him and her eyes were full of intense emotions.

They were just chatting when there was another big commotion.

"Whoa the Aven family is here!! Robert Aven has come here personally!" people exclaimed, many rushing forward to form connections with the Aven family.

"Hoo T- That is Jane Aven? She is as beautiful as a fairy..." the men who saw her felt like losing their minds, they seemed to have fallen at first sight.

Her existence was so bright and dazzling, it made them feel they would burn if they tried getting closer.

Jane’s hair was loose, her blue dress looking extremely pretty and graceful.

Robert had already given the Mad Dogs Neil’s assassination contract, so there was no way he would approve their relation.

’But I wonder if everything is going fine with father.’ Robert wondered, he glanced at his daughter then looked around and soon saw someone.

"Warden Caleb! It’s good to meet you." He smiled and walked closer.

Caleb was going to be the next king of the werewolf race so if he could get Jane to marry him, how great would that be?

Neil could possess exceptional talent but what if he gets killed even before growing?

Caleb was the right choice, once he had made this deal, no this relation, he would give his father another great surprise.

"Hello Robert, it has been long since we last met and you have come along with your daughter?" Caleb looked at Jane and was surprised by her beauty.

He had seen her when she was little but he didn’t really remember much of it, not that he cared.

"Yes yes this is my daughter, Jane Aven. Come here and greet him, he is the next Werewolf king, Caleb." Robert said hurriedly, worried that Jane would act up here too.

"Hello." Jane said plainly as she scanned the entire hall searching for that one person.

The only reason she had even come here was to meet him.

Robert cleared his throat and got to the point: "So I wanted to form a deep family-like relation with you, would you like to marry my daughter?"

He asked right away, surprising Caleb and shocking Jane who wasn’t even interested in their conversation.

The people around were also shocked as they began to mutter among themselves in surprise.

"Huh? That’s too sudden..." Caleb chuckled, feeling proud of himself, he really was too wonderful.

But then why wouldn’t Cynthia give in? The one woman he wanted wouldn’t even look at him.

But then he looked at Jane, she was extremely beautiful too, her charms could be different from Cynthia but her beauty was just as high.

Robert had a flattering smile on his face as he rubbed his palms, waiting for the answer, if he succeeded he would give this great news to his father.

"Well upon thinking about it, I don’t really have a problem. It would be my pleasure to marry someone as beautiful and talented as Jane." Caleb said with a big smile.

He glanced back at Cynthia, wondering if she was listening but she was just busy talking with that guy.

It truly made him so mad, he wished to make her feel jealous or make her feel threatened.

That if she didn’t accept or hurry up, this wonderful man could be taken away by someone else, and she would lose her chance forever.

Caleb could keep Jane as his concubine but his main wife had to be none other than Cynthia, for him there was none like her.

’Maybe she didn’t hear it just now, she must not be paying attention. If I make her feel jealous, if she feels threatened by this girl maybe she will finally accept me.’ Caleb thought.

While Jane’s face twisted with anger as she glared at her father.

"Father, I think I have told you about my decision, I would never agree to something-" Jane was just speaking when Caleb interrupted her.

He laughed and acted as if they had already been engaged, then he pointed in one direction and spoke:

"Well, Jane, I think you are too surprised right now and need some time to prepare yourself mentally, it is fine. You have all the time, I wouldn’t push you to marry me faster." He muttered.

Then added: "But there is someone I want you to meet first, can you come with me for a minute?"

Jane was about to refuse but her father pushed her shoulder, hurriedly muttering: "Go go, don’t do anything stupid."

She was feeling so angry, didn’t her father and grandfather just agree to let her marry Neil?

These pigs were going back on their words? Ha they act all high and mighty and respectful in front of the world.

But isn’t this just spitting and licking it back? Did their words amount to nothing.

Jane was about to burst with rage and destroy all the reputation of Robert and Tred but her gaze passed over the people Caleb was pointing towards.

Her body trembled and mind went blank.

There he was.

Neil!!

Finally, he was right in front of her. For Jane the surroundings completely disappeared and she couldn’t hear or see anything.

Only Neil remained who was speaking something.

Caleb started walking towards the two and paused before them, as Cynthia and Neil looked up, their conversation interrupted.

’This fly bastard, why is he still lingering here? Sigh why won’t he leave?’ Neil frowned.

If this dog wasn’t in the 5th Origin, Neil really would have given him a slap but in his current state, he would rather not offend another 5th Origin lord.

He already had enough enemies from his parents.

It would only cause problems for Cynthia.

So Cynthia just removed the barrier, and asked quizzically.

"What is it now? Do you have something to say?"

"Yes, I wanted to introduce someone to you, someone who is very close to my heart, my other half." Caleb spoke with a big grin, carefully observing Cynthia’s expressions.

Hoping she would show discomfort or jealousy.

"Oh, you are marrying someone?" Cynthia asked in surprise, in fact she was happy and relieved.

This bug would stop coming to her kingdom and pestering, she was just tired of his stupidity now.

’Hmm? Did I sense wrong? I thought he liked teacher.’ Neil wondered, he was annoyed by this Caleb just now.

But now it would be fine, right?

"Yes, I am going to marry her very soon, sigh she is very close to my heart. Here she is, meet her, my fiance and the love of my life, Jane Aven!" Caleb announced, waiting to see sadness on Cynthia’s face.

But at last, there was no change in her expressions.

Caleb even wondered if she was trying to hide it, he tried his best to catch any sign but there was none.

Finally the said woman, the self-proclaimed love of his life, his fiance walked forward.

She appeared to be in a daze, taking slow and quiet steps.

Cynthia saw her and was surprised, she recognized Jane from the clash battles and since she was such a genius.

Neil too finally saw her, and the shock he received was astronomical, Jane seemed to have grown and appeared a little different.

She looked even more beautiful and strong, but there was no way Neil wouldn’t recognize her.

After so long, he was once again face to face with his first love, his ex-girlfriend, Jane Aven.

But then Neil seemed to register the words just uttered by Caleb.
