WIFE... WIFE...

This single word reverberated in Jane’s mind again and again, how can this be?

Neil is already married? To this woman, after the breakup he really moved on and chose someone else?

Jane felt as if her entire body was breaking apart, an intense pain rushed into her brain. She felt suffocated.

It was so uncomfortable, as if someone was trying to drown her, someone kept pushing her deeper and deeper into this sea of pain and sadness.

Regret and pain were all that was left now.

She began to cry louder, feeling an ache in her heart and gasped loudly for breath, her medical condition was about to be triggered.

"Not only that, Neil has another woman in his life. We are both already his wives, so whatever happened back then, it is meaningless. Even if it was a misunderstanding, blackmail or whatever, you have lost him and he is now mine." Cynthia felt so satisfied while speaking this.

If not for all the watchful eyes, she would have kissed him to prove her point.

"..." Jane felt so broken, was it really meaningless now?

She looked at Cynthia, and there is another woman in his life? So she has no place in his heart now?

She knew Neil still had feelings for her, although he felt resentment and some level of hate because of what happened.

But he still had a sliver of doubt, that what if she was innocent in all this?

"Ughh" Jane gritted her teeth, she looked at Cynthia then back at Neil and an idea popped into her mind.

"J- Just check the recording of my ship after you had awakened, and you will find everything. Ask Nemo!" Jane said quickly.

Neil’s fists were clenched, he looked at the two women, feeling uncertain. And like Cynthia had said, is there any point in resolving this?

He already has two wonderful women in his life.

Isn’t it already too late?

Seeing Neil’s hesitating expression, Jane quickly spoke:

"At least check that out, whatever decision you make later, I will accept it. But I at least want you to know the truth." Jane spoke slowly and in an emotional tone.

"I know I have hurt you, but I never wanted to. After we separated, each moment was like hell for me, it was never your talent or anything that mattered to me, it was only you that I need."

Cynthia sighed, she couldn’t add anything to that, so she just stood silently and let Neil make the choice.

"Hmm" he nodded and decided to check the recording of her ship.

’Nemo can you find it-’ Neil was just speaking when Nemo interrupted him.

"Master, I was already searching, it will be ready in a minute." Nemo really knows him so well, even before Neil made his mind she knew what decision he was going to make.

She really was wonderful.

"..." The three stood silently inside the barrier, waiting for the footage to come.

Just a couple of minutes later, Nemo presented the footage of the exact moment.

"Master it is ready." Nemo spoke as a virtual display appeared before him, then it became visible to Jane and Cynthia too.

And finally played the scene that happened after Neil had awakened and obtained a low synergy.

"This is for the good of you both, you should end this relation immediately!" Robert shouted at his daughter.

"No!" Jane refused outright.

"So you want to ruin your life because of him?" Robert questioned, glaring at her.

"I am not ruining anything, I will just stop at the 5th Origin rank." Jane replied instantly.

"You..." Robert was shaking in rage but Tred gestured for him to stop.

"Oh my little Jane, I know you love him and he just might be the perfect guy for you. But this report changes things..." before Tred could finish, Jane interrupted.

"But Grandpa, we don’t..."

The scene played just like that, and both Neil and Cynthia got to see how they had forced her to make that call.

As the clip ended, Neil sighed, after he had calmed down he had imagined something like that.

Although that breakup had hurt him badly but she wasn’t really at fault, not fully at least.

It was mainly her father and grandfather who were behind it, there was little she could have done in such a situation.

Even Cynthia could say nothing, having trashy parents she could understand her situation perfectly well.

If they find out about her relation with Neil, maybe they might also try to break them up?

But she also knew of his abnormal background, even though his family seemed to have given up on him.

But he still belonged to that family.

"See, I never wanted to break up with you, I really love you. Please give me one more chance" Jane pleaded, she was ready to even fall to her knees and beg him.

She wanted to spend her life with him, but not being able to do that would break her.

He already has two other women but that’s something to worry about later, for now she only needed to get him back.

Neil stopped her from getting to her knees, there was a small frown on his face.

Maybe if Jane really turned out to be trashy, things would have been simpler but now that he knows she was innocent.

The choice became difficult, there is already Ileana and Cynthia in his life.

Neil really was so confused and didn’t know what to tell her.

"I... need some time to think about it." Neil spoke after a minute, the silence was killing Jane.

Her eyes were watery, she regretted having ever accepted her father’s arrangement.

She should have never agreed even if they had killed her, but it was Neil’s safety that made her feel weak.

"Hmm" Jane bit her lip, looking at his face which was so unfamiliar now.

He too had grown a lot in this time of separation, he looked far more charming and strong.

Jane was sure Neil’s strength was far higher than her own, even though she had done her best and even gotten help from that dragon empress.

Neil’s talent was simply too unbelievable so why won’t her family allow her even now to be with him.

Those greedy bastards, shouldn’t they instead be pushing the two together?

She really wished she could just leave that family and have peaceful time with Neil.

But Neil had more to worry about than just this, he needed to quickly increase his strength to protect everyone.

For now he only needs one more 2nd Order diamond class domain core to evolve his domain to the 3rd Order.

Not to mention he already holds the cores for 3rd Order mythic class, two of them which is already enough to again evolve the domain.

And make it reach the 4th Origin, though Neil might need some additional things to evolve from 3rd to 4th.

Just like his own evolution from 3rd Origin to 4th, where he needed that essence transformation manual.

He decided to talk about it with Cynthia first, then he can quickly evolve.

Once his strength reaches the peak of 4th Origin, he would even be able to fight the 5th Origin.

It was just that he needed some more time, but his enemies were relentless and not giving him any time.

He wasn’t even sure if Randy truly was on his side, what if he attacks too.

Or what if he already knows about his skills?

There was too much to consider and it all depended on increasing his strength.

He wanted to tell him about the marriage proposal between Jane and Caleb.

And also about how disrespectful Neil had been and how he had given the Mad Dogs his bounty and outright refused any relation between his daughter and him.

He tried calling but he didn’t pick up at first, but on the second time the call finally connected and Tred’s happy voice sounded.

Tred really seemed to have elevated to the sky, he seemed so happy.
