"I should go back and meet Leonard." He said to himself.

Just then his smartphone, which was held in his right hand with torch on.

It made a beep sound.

Noah frowned. "Who messaged me? Wait! So messages are possible."

He checked the phone and saw the message was from Travis.

’He finally decided to contact me. Wonder what message he might have send me.’ He got curious.

He saw the message.

[Yo Noah! How’s it going on your side? On our side, we won’t be searching for you guys today. Our main focus will be to find food supplies and understand the surroundings. What about you guys? Don’t forget to inform me if you plan to attack us.]

’This guy... haah... I don’t believe him that much. He might be lying. But this looks like the best course of action on the first day. So he has probably sent a few students to locate us and observe our base from afar,’ Noah thought after reading the message, then replied.

[We are doing the same as you guys. Though we are trying to find your class’s location. Just spying, not attacking for today. For now, there is no specific order from Damien. Just guarding our base. I will inform you when he gives us any new orders.]

A smirk appeared on his face. ’He might be trying to learn my class’s location and wants me to share it with him.’

[Also, our base is not fixed. We are staying in different buildings that are not far from each other. With forming units having different roles. At least for today. But tomorrow we will move to a huge building and make it our base. If you want to attack, then tell me. I will share the our location. Hehe~.Though you have to ask politely if you want it.]

For today, he didn’t want any fight with opposite class. ’It’s better if it would be peaceful like this whole day and night.’

Then he walked out of the basement. He climbed up the stairs.

He out the phone inside his pocket. So he could feel the vibration of phone when message will be sent to him by Travis.

He had kept phone on vibration mode. Lowering the volume and ring bar to zero.

When he returned to the main entrance area, he saw someone else standing there.

A young woman with blonde hair and emerald eyes. What drew his attention were her pointy ears.

She was an elf. The only elf student in their class.

Marina Lumineth.

Beside her was a young man with black hair and gray eyes. He was around six feet tall.

Ken Taekane.

With a casual tone, Noah called out, "Marina, Ken... you guys are here?"

Marina and Ken, who were walking toward the staircase, stopped.

They turned toward the voice that had called them.

With a slight frown, Ken asked, "Noah? What are you doing here?"

Both Marina and Ken were in the recon unit. Basically, they were scouts, but they also had the duty to find food.

’They must have been exploring and came here. They are slow. We two came here before them. Though let’s forget the competition we have from time to time to see who runs faster. Also, we didn’t check every place like them, so we got here earlier.’

Noah gave a friendly smile.

With a relaxed expression, he replied, "Me? I am here with Leonard. We were just having a small walk. But because of Leonard’s curious personality, he dragged me this far."

With a calm expression, Marina asked, "Leonard is here as well? Where is he?"

Noah nodded slightly and said, "He is on the upper floor. We were trying to see if there is anything useful here. I was checking the ground floor and basement side, while he was checking upstairs."

With a thoughtful look, Marina asked, "Hmm. So did you find anything useful here?"

Noah shook his head lightly and replied, "No. Nothing here. Also, the basement is filled with old machines and other things. Nothing noteworthy."

With a neutral tone, Ken began, "Okay. We will go up and meet Leonard—"

But another voice cut him off.

"Noah!! Come here, man!"

The loud voice echoed through the building. It was coming from the second floor.

Instead of using his smartphone to call Noah, the man yelled loudly in excitement.

The three of them looked at each other, then started moving toward the upper floor.

When they reached the second floor, they saw a section dedicated to groceries.

The voice had definitely come from there.

Noah and the others stepped inside.

The grocery section was huge.

White shelves were arranged in rows, forming aisles.

There were all kinds of products on them.

Some shelves were broken, but most of them were still standing.

The lights on the ceiling flickered from time to time.

Similar to how they flicker in horror movies.

With wide eyes, Leonard exclaimed, "Wow... there is so much food here. With this, we don’t have to worry about anything."

’Man. Why did they put a system where we feel hunger but don’t have to use the bathroom? Though people with higher cores don’t need to, since their bodies digest everything without any excretion,’ Noah thought, considering one of the advantages he would gain in the future when he became stronger.

With a practical tone, Noah said, "Let’s inform the others and collect this."

Leonard came out from between the aisles.

With an excited grin, he said, "Noah! See what I found— oh, Marina and Ken. You guys finally found this place."

With a light chuckle, Ken replied, "Yeah, we did. Though you got here first, despite not being in the recon unit."

With a smirk, Leonard said, "Good. Let’s take the food with us in our storage devices. And also call the others."

Meanwhile, Marina had already begun informing others about this place through her smartwatch.

Meanwhile, Noah stood silently.

He was thinking deeply about his next actions and plans.
