Extra's Path To Demon King
Chapter 513: Transcendent Conjurer
Enrick touched Yasmin’s cheeks that were stained with traces of blood. He chuckled darkly, "Don’t act so surprised now, Dear sister. You already knew that Nino was killed to increase your potential."
He sighed, taking a step back, "Though I suppose you did not know that our father did this. Nino was the one who had the least potential amongst us. So, he thought of this as the better use for his useless youngest daughter."
Blerghhhhhh
Arghhhhhhh
Yasmin instantly vomited, disgusted and horrified by the fact that the red pill of potential she had eaten before the trial given by her smiling father was her loving little sister.
She shuddered, thinking back to the moment, the gentle and loving face of her mighty father, who always doted on her. But for him to be so ruthless behind that serene visage, she still failed to accept it.
Yasmin’s expression became resolute. She switched her aspect, a powerful rune sword appearing in her hand, and she stated coldly, "No, that is something simply not possible. You say our father had modified our memories. But it was also possible that the ghost race bastards had messed with your memories. What you say sounds too far-fetched."
"Hhahahahahaha ahahaha....." Enrick let out a twisted laughter, a hand on his face, "Oh, Yasmin, how would you know. You were always his favorite child, born to the woman he loved. But his marriage to my mother was nothing but a political agenda for him. Especially after your mother died, he loved you even more. While treating Nino and me like we didn’t even exist."
Yasmin gritted her teeth; she knew that it was the truth. Her expression becoming complicated, "I’m sorry, Enrick. I don’t think you are in your right mind. I promise this. Once we go back. I will look into this. I will ask him for the truth directly."
The smile from the face of Enrick vanished, his figure oozing with killing intent, enough to force Yasmin to take a few steps back, out of instinctive fear, and Enrick asked, "Unfortunately, no such thing will happen. You will die right here and now."
"After I go back, I will throw your bloody corpse right in front of his throne. I wonder what expression he will have. Now, that is going to be a sight to behold," he said in a wishful tone.
Enrick placed his palm onto the bloody ground, a rune chain on his neck flashed, Yasmin felt the sense of danger multiply, and she realized he was about to do. She dashed forward, "Stop Enrick, don’t do it."
Enrick did not move from his position, nor was there the slightest hint of weakness in his eyes; he proclaimed,
"By my title as the Transcendent Conjurer, I hereby call for the Beast of Ragnarok, Doomfang Fenrir, to step onto the Continent of Eldarion."
A massive glowing circle of unknown language lit up from beneath, spreading over more than 10 meters, and a sense of unfathomable power escaped from the glowing summoning circle. Making Yasmin stop in her tracks by force.
Energy drained out of Enrick like never before; blood came out of his orifices, making his sight dizzy, and his head felt like it was being cracked open. Notifications from Prime flashed on his retina, one after another.
[The Conjurer is too weak to summon Doomfang Fenrir in its full might, adjusting the strength of the Beast.]
[97% of Fenrir’s original strength is being sealed.]
[The Conjurer is still lacking, siphoning 3% of the Conjurer’s life force to complete the ritual]
[The Conjurer will not be able to control the summoned creature once conjured.]
But Enrick didn’t mind; he only smiled because he already knew that this would be the price for it, as a dark gate opened through the summoning circle. A monstrous, beastly claw covered in blood emerged, then its ginormous jaws, and finally its head; eventually, the entire titanic figure of the Beast was revealed.
The creature roared towards the heavens, "AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!"
A calamitous roar of destruction filled with the purest desire for slaughter traveled through the soul of every seeker, whether human or ghost, who fought within that battlefield.
Even Lucien, floating in the skies engaged in a brutal fight against Belthrax, felt a sense of unknown danger when he heard that beast’s scream. But due to the strange gray and reddish fog covering the middle section of the battlefield, no one could see what was happening there.
But he did not have the luxury of focusing elsewhere, as his enemy turned out to be far stronger than he could have imagined.
The Beast of Ragnarok was almost 5 meters tall in terms of height. Length at least 7 meters or more. It stood like a giant, the creature’s long white-and-gray fur waving in the wind, its monstrous eyes fixed on Yasmin, as if looking at an insect.
The beast growled in a low but threatening tone, opening its monstrous maw that could devour anything.
But then Fenrir’s gaze turned towards the being that conjured him; Enrick could barely maintain his consciousness amid the pressure imposed by the Beast.
A look of disdain appeared in the eyes of the Mythical Creature. It simply clamped its claw, intending to kill the Conjurer in a single attack, but a rune shield manifested to save him, right before Enrick was about to be killed.
But his figure was still thrown out more than 50 meters away.
Fenrir’s eyes glinted towards the princess, who was almost paralyzed in fear;
Yasmin took a deep breath. She knew that her brother had awakened the true legacy of his royal family. She had read in the records, written in the history books, how near impossible it was to summon this being.
But for Enrick to have the capacity to summon this Beast, she could not believe it.
This Profane Beast is said to have the power to bring doom to entire civilizations if summoned in its true strength.
The immortal Wolf, Fenrir.
Which was why summoning this thing could be said as a suicidal conjuration. When Fenrir is summoned against an adversary, whoever stands within the Conjuring circle.
The beast would first kill the said adversary of the summoner, then kill its own summoner. But even after killing its conjurer, the creature would not vanish; it would grow stronger, devouring its summoner. Then the Beast would continue to kill and grow stronger with every powerful entity it devours.
Yasmin gritted her teeth; her expression turned cold. When faced with the Beast of Ragnarok, there was only one thing a seeker could do: to fight.
But not to kill the beast, but just to blind its eyes, in order to have the opportunity to run away, because it was almost impossible to kill Fenrir, unless there was a 5th phase being personally taking action, and if it continued to devour and grow stronger, even a 5th phase seeker might not be able to kill it properly.
The reason it would require a 5th phase Seeker to kill the Beast of Ragnarok was not that it had power of that caliber, but rather because Fenrir was more tenacious than even the strongest of cockroaches. Its healing power is nigh-endless, which was why it was nearly impossible to kill, as it would only come back stronger with every being it devoured, with every injury the beast sustained.
Apart from that, only the Conjurer himself could dismiss it.
