"Thank you, Shenxi Venerable," You Su expressed his gratitude, then walked to the edge of the secluded pond and leaped in.

His body was agile, entering the water with a perfect dive, barely making a splash.

Shenxi Venerable watched with satisfaction as You Su swam towards the cluster of glowing white algae, sharing a contented smile with Yui Zhen, who joined him.

You Su opened his eyes underwater, though the barrier kept the water from touching them.

He was amazed to find that the glowing algae, like tiny white fish, were visible even with his eyes closed!

This was You Su’s first time seeing the Saintess’s face, and he was awestruck by her beauty, even though she was pale and swollen.

He hurried and swam faster toward the Saintess.

Fortunately, the luminous algae were not aggressive; You Su supported the Saintess’s body with no romantic notions as he skillfully snapped the fronds to free her.

The "luminous algae" swiftly tightened, directly engulfing You Su’s legs and forcibly dragging him back down.

The barrier left by Shenxi Venerable shattered instantly, and the lake water surged toward You Su’s body like a tide.
