Third Person Point of View

Cherry had a nice, safe, easy life. She was born to two strong parents, one a fighter, while the other was a healer. She was wealthy, at least compared to others, growing up in a mansion overlooking the village she grew up in, what was there not to love? Well, sometimes safety is its own problem. Her life was boring; she grew up gossiping until her parents put an end to it before she chose her class.

Her parents most likely didn’t want her to get a class related to information gathering or gossip. When you were that strong, you could guide your class to what you actually want far more easily. The person's personality still affected it, but if a family of swordsmen had a child, more than likely that child would gain a swordsman-related class. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢

They guided her toward the healer class, but it wasn’t meant to be. She loved her mother very much, but didn’t want to become a miniature version of her. When she did gain her class, and it was a non-combat class related to preserving fruits, almost everyone was shocked, even Cherry. She loved strawberries, but she wasn’t constantly thinking about them; she didn’t think her life revolved around them, so it didn’t make sense to her.

The truth was, she was a very impassionate person; the small character trait of liking strawberries was the only thing the class selection could latch onto. Even with the preserver class, it still gave her plenty of odd skills a preserver shouldn’t have, like magic initiate. With her gaining her class, she could get back to the only thing she enjoyed in the small village she lived in, the gossip.

She loved to hear the intimate details of everyone, who was cheating on whom, who was thinking about moving out of town, who secretly had a crush on whom, and, unfortunately, who most likely died in the dungeon. A large portion of her day was spent going around, greeting everyone, while gossiping with the few wives who also loved to gossip. It was once again, one of the only things to do in the small village for housewives to do.

Which led to the real reason she had gained such an odd class, she wanted desperately to be a housewife; the only problem was the people. She was young when most of the bachelors of the village were older; she knew most of them since she was little, and it just didn’t feel right to marry them. Every young man who appeared in the village didn’t choose her.

Sure, she was beautiful, possibly the most beautiful woman in the entire village, but not many people even attempted a relationship with her just because of who her parents were. Being the daughter of the mayor/sheriff of the village was scary by itself, but also being the daughter of the closest thing the village had to a healer made her almost unapproachable. The few that did had to pass the bar her parents held up, and unfortunately, none of them did.

It left her feeling thoroughly unsatisfied with her life as she wanted marriage and children as soon as she could, but it was over a decade before the first real contender for her husband finally showed up in the village. A unassuming farmboy. Sure, he was tall, taller than most men besides her father, more cute than handsome, especially with how young he was, and kind of a loner who didn’t talk to many others in the village…

But she felt a connection with him the moment she tasted his unnaturally good produce. It got her thinking of her favorite fruit. It was difficult to get strawberries to the village, and the few times they did, she could tell they weren’t as fresh as they could be. She wanted to try strawberries grown by someone who grew higher-quality produce.

She even went out of her way to purchase the seeds of fruits she loved in order to have them grown before he got around to it. She thought things were going along smoothly enough, but some little gremlin girl popped out of nowhere and took her crush right out from underneath her, throwing herself at the farmboy the same day they met each other before she could pay for a room at the inn for her.

She thought it was over; she thought for sure that it would be even longer before she ended up with a different man now that he was claimed. Except for the little farmer, who could do something that made it impossible for her not to fall in love with her. He produced the best tasting magified strawberry possibly in the history of humanity.

Everything involving the situation pushed her further and further in love with him, and from Silk moving in and making all sorts of lewd sounds since she did, it was clear that there was room for more in that household. She didn’t miss her second chance at a family and attacked him with a lust she had never felt before. That was how her life changed for the better.

Every day with him made her heart swell with love, and as her sister wives gave birth, she loved their children as her own, often being the one to take care of them as the other women went into the dungeon or on guard duty. She hadn’t really enjoyed cooking until she gained a skill related to it; making the delicious produce even more delicious was always a plus.

Plus the sex… The sex wasn’t something she expected to be so good. She heard from many sources that it was very hit or miss, and her husband could definitely hit. Hit multiple times every single night for each of his wives. She didn’t even need to say anything because the noises coming from the house gave all the gossipers the necessary information on how good her husband was.

Then she finally got pregnant, and it wasn’t very long at all. Elves had a harder time getting pregnant, and half elves were only slightly better. Her belly swelled, and she truly felt like a woman, like her goal of having a large family was slowly being satisfied. With every new wife, instead of feeling wariness or fear, it only felt like another piece of the puzzle was put into place.

She was strong enough to fight for her family; she had to be in order to protect what she cared for, but for the first time, she regretted not having a combat class. It would have made it so much easier; she’d have felt so much more useful if she were more heavily focused on magic. She regretted choosing an offensive nature just to avoid being too similar to her mother, but all her choices had made her who she was today.

She prepared enough food for a small army every single day; the food she provided was laying the foundations for the future of her family. The skill she gained the first time she had sex was possibly the most important thing she could have asked for, because it made her always valuable, no matter the circumstance.

With the arrival of the princess, their small village would finally begin to change, and with that, they would need someone to help the growing village grow in the right direction.
