Farming with Entries: From Lord to Emperor
Chapter 692 - 326: You Simply Don’t Understand the Basic Principles of the Extraordinary
...
...
A group of people walked along the mountain path heading northwest.
Before long, Luo De saw the desolate hillside Gala mentioned.
There were no trees, only some stones and sparse weeds.
Various skeleton bones, exceptionally pale, were scattered in the half-melted snow, with some bones still having remnants of decayed fabric fragments.
On the hillside, there were also some obvious mounds, with wooden signs in front of some.
Several wild dogs were prowling at the edge of the gully, growling lowly upon seeing humans approach.
The Frost Iron Guard raised the Longbow, and without hesitation, pulled the bowstring at the wild dogs.
Screams echoed continuously, and the remaining wild dogs fled quickly upon seeing the situation.
Soon, the hillside was completely silent.
Without any hesitation, Luo De stood at the edge of the gully.
Gripping the Magic Wand, he once again extended the mental tendrils.
This time, Luo De sensed some residual fragments of consciousness.
These consciousnesses had no purpose, merely residual spirits bred under the aura of the Undead, invisible to the naked eye, perceived only through Luo De's manipulation of mental tendrils.
These residual spirits could have some value in Necromancy Alchemy, possibly used to make low-level Undead Servants or as materials for certain dark rituals.
But now wasn't the time to focus on these.
Luo De ignored the drifting residual spirits, manipulating the mental tendrils to continuously search around, skimming over every mound and suspicious place.
The mental tendrils penetrated through the thick layers of soil, suddenly discovering a dark passage.
Following the passage forward, the mental tendrils surged out of the ground, once again seeing the vast snow mountains.
"Looks like we've found it."
Luo De looked to Winnie beside him,
"Let's go have a look together."
Winnie, seeing Luo De's smile, widened her eyes, suddenly having a bad feeling.
The Soldiers wouldn't give Winnie time to think, directly hoisting her and following Luo De.
Based on his memory earlier, Luo De quickly found the spot where the mental tendrils emerged from the ground in the gully.
This place looked no different from the surrounding areas.
Also covered in thick snow, also scattered with a few dried bones.
"It's here."
Luo De pointed to the nondescript open ground on the hillside, "Clear this place."
"Yes, my Lord."
The Soldiers, without any doubt, immediately swarmed forward, digging with the shovels in their hands.
Clearing the snow, pulling aside the withered grass, digging open the hard soil, a huge rock emerged.
"Sealed so tightly, it seems your family doesn't open this Treasure Vault often."
Luo De said casually, looking at Winnie beside him. 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
Winnie at this moment couldn't speak, staring blankly at the gradually uncovered rock.
Her lips trembled slightly, face pale, eyes filled with disbelief.
Then, she watched as the Soldiers worked together to push aside the rock, revealing the dark and deep entrance of the cave to everyone.
Such a secret passage appearing in this wilderness graveyard spoke volumes.
Winnie's mind went blank, utterly losing the ability to think, as the Soldiers dragged her into the passage.
By the time she regained consciousness, she had been dragged to a stone door embedded in the stone wall.
The firelight illuminated the elaborately carved patterns on the stone door, along with the Cold Blade Clan's Frost Blade emblem.
The stone door had several heavy iron rings and a crossbeam structure fixed with a row of rivets.
The main lock was a thick iron bar inserted horizontally into the bolt's groove, both ends embedded into the wall.
Near the top of the bolt, a finely crafted black iron lock base was embedded, with a conspicuous irregular keyhole.
It didn't look like an ordinary lock, requiring a specially made key to insert.
"Even if you find it, you don't have the key..."
Winnie finally found her voice, unable to stop herself from speaking.
Yet, her voice revealed a hint of guilty conscience.
Winnie kept reassuring herself, as long as this door couldn't be opened, Luo De couldn't access the treasure.
Luo De said nothing unnecessary, not even taking a close look at the keyhole.
He looked at Lusen, asking, "Is there any Magic Fluctuation on this?"
"No."
Lusen shook his head slightly, "It's just an ordinary lock."
"Good."
Luo De directly drew the Ashbringer from the Frost Iron Guard's hand.
Scorching energy infused into the sword, the dark sword rapidly turning crimson.
Then, Luo De lifted the Ashbringer, slashing at the lock on the door.
The stone door, along with the bolt, was sliced open like butter, not even making a sound.
The so-called elaborate lock was meaningless before the fiery Ashbringer.
Then Luo De retracted the Ashbringer, waving slightly, the Frost Iron Guard swiftly moved forward to push open the stone door.
"Buzz—"
A sound of friction echoed, and the stone door was easily pushed open.
"You probably haven't seen it either, go take a look."
Luo De gestured invitingly to Winnie.
"I-I-I..."
Winnie stammered, unsure of what to say for a moment.
"Didn't you say it couldn't be opened?"
Luo De looked at the bewildered Winnie, smiling:
"You don't understand the basic principles of the Extraordinary at all."
