The guard glanced at the dark hole and placed the box back over it.

Then the guard walked out of the alley, and Gala approached.

"Is it done?" Gala asked.

"Yes."

The guard said in a deep voice, "The drones have been released, let your Hawk notify our people."

The five held their breath and hurried through the filthy, stinking sewer.

"Finally out!"

Man Xiu sighed with relief, while the other four grimaced, looking with disdain at their filthy robes.

One young female steward squatted down and began to cry.

"Enough."

Laura walked over and said sternly, "We made it out alive, that’s already the Lord’s grace."

"We should leave here quickly."

Man Xiu reminded softly, "I’m afraid it’s not safe."

"Yes."

Laura nodded, pulling up the squatting female steward, "Hurry up and follow."

Man Xiu walked ahead along the edge of the cesspool and soon noticed a carriage parked by the roadside in the distance.

A masked middle-aged man stood beside the carriage, and he had also noticed Man Xiu and the others.

"Come quickly!"

The middle-aged man waved, "It’s time to go!"

Man Xiu’s eyes lit up, and he quickly ran over.

The middle-aged man urged, pushing Man Xiu onto the carriage, and the other four followed.

Laura wore a mysterious smile, leading the group into the forest in the valley.

After traveling through the valley for half a day, Man Xiu saw a dilapidated ruin from afar,

As soon as she spoke, four or five figures suddenly appeared from the hillside forest.

They wore exquisite armor and had serious expressions.
