Chapter 356 - Meeting Her Parents

The couple arrived at the City of Bora a few hours later.

The couple took a rest after they arrived at their accommodation at the resort they booked to, which is one of the popular holiday destinations in the world, and they only had fun and enjoyed the scenery that the resort could offer the next day.

They really enjoyed everything, this vacation where they made a lot of memories. New friends they made in the city, and as lovely the time they spent there, everything must come to an end.

And so after three days and two nights, the couple flew back to Central City.

Central City.

"Back to our normal lives again"

Amanda looked at the scenery before her eyes and couldn't help but sigh with melancholy.

"What? You still want our vacation to continue?" Michael chuckled while looking at his woman.

"Of course, who wouldn't want to have fun everyday?" Amanda also laughed with Michael, knowing that a long vacation isn't possible, not unless they get married and have kids, so that both of them have a reason to go for a vacation.

After all, both of them are busy people because Amanda needs to look after her coffee shop that's growing by the day, and Michael who's also busy making money, and at the same time, fixing his personal problems on the side.

Then a familiar car stopped in front of the two of them.

The car window in front of them slowly lowered where they saw Dylan at the driver's seat.

"Let's go, get a move on you two!"

Dylan laughed, his face seemingly excited about something.

"You sound somewhat excited" laughed Michael as he placed both of their luggage at the back of the car, while Amanda quickly took a seat at the back of the car.

Dylan looked at Michael who had taken a seat beside him and said, "Of course man! I'm meeting Allison's parents tomorrow!"

"Oh shoot! Will you be fine by yourself then?"

Michael was a bit worried.

After all, Allison's family is a family full of police and military figures, and everyone of them are all strict and all, and he's not sure what will happen if they find out that Dylan isn't even someone who has graduated from university.

And of course, it wouldn't have been a problem if he had at least enlisted in the army before.

"Isn't that the reason why I'm excited that you're coming back!?" laughed Dylan while driving, and only then did Michael noticed that his friend was a little bit nervous.

As he two would certainly get nervous if he is meeting his girlfriend's parents for the first time.

Because it is one of those most nerve wracking challenges in life you need to face if you want to start a family!

"And why should I come with you? It's not like I'm Allison's boyfriend!"

Michael already knew what Dylan wants, and he's reluctant to go with him as he doesn't want to meet those people who are all about discipline and what not.

"Come on, man! Do it for your brother's sake!" said Dylan as he gave Michael a pleading cute face.

"F*ck! Your face is creepy, stop doing that!"

When Michael saw the look on his friend, his body shivered and he had this urge to punch Dylan's face. He was just afraid that they might get into an accident if he did that.

"Hahaha! That was so cute!"

While Amanda on the other hand, is laughing her ass off at the back seat as she listened to their conversation, and especially when she saw the look that Dylan made.

Hearing what Amanda said, Dylan couldn't help but throw an arrogant look at Michael.

"See, even Amanda thinks it's cute, man!"

Michael just rolled his eyes and said helplessly, "No, that was sarcasm, you dumbass"

"Come with me tomorrow then, pretty please!?"

"F*ck! I told you to stop doing that!"

"Michael, I can't see the road with your hand on my face!"

""Ahhhh!""

The screams of three people rang out from inside the car when it suddenly swerved to the side and almost crashed into another vehicle, but thankfully, Dylan managed to control the car in time.

"Goddammit Dylan! Are you trying to kill us!?"

"How is it my fault!? You f*cking covered my face!"

The next day.

"Dammit, why am I going with you two?"

Randy, who is dressed in a nice suit, complained from the backseat.

Michael turned his head around, "Well, you're not the only one who was forced to come, and besides, Robin didn't want to come, so yeah"

"So, I was your second option?" Randy snorted coldly.

Michael thought for a second and replied, "Yeah, after all, he was a Lieutenant General before he "retired".

"Oi, I was a general too, you asshat" said Randy, a little bit angry.

"Yeah, a brigadier, but not a lieutenant" chuckled Michael, giving no respect at all.

While Dylan on the other hand is just focused on the road, seemingly not able to hear the other two people inside the car with him while mumbling something to himself.

"Hi, I'm Dylan. It's so nice to meet you"

"No, should I say, it's a pleasure to meet you instead? Should I shake their hands or salute to them? Will they even like me? I wonder what her parents look like?"

While he was doing that, he didn't notice Michael looking at him with a dry expression.

"Dude, relax!"

"Wha...what!?"

Dylan grew startled when he felt that someone touched his shoulder.

"You need to chill man, Allison's parents won't eat you up. So you need to relax... but they would probably shoot you for dating their daughter though"

"Wha...what!?"

Michael and Randy started laughing as the two of them kept teasing him, but also because of that, Dylan was able to slightly loosen his worries of meeting Allison's parents.

And then there was silence for a few seconds inside the car.

"They really wouldn't shoot me, right?"

"Wha..what? No, you idiot! K-keep your eyes on the road! Jesus!"

"Damn, will we actually arrive at the destination in one piece with this stupid driver? And why are the one driving if you're nervous, you bastard!"
